Overnight Heatless Curls Using Primark Sponge Rollers | Becca Rose

After I featured these '8 Pack Sleep In Rollers' from Primark in a video - MANY of you asked to see how I use them to achieve bouncy curls, as I do it a little differently... I remove the velcro! Velcro can be damaging to your hair, so see my step by step demo. I've used these for MONTHS now and have finally got the hang of how I like it! Enjoy (onesie and all!)...

I had the KEYS to the Tottenham Court Road Primark and could shop ALONE! See the video on Primark.com HERE: http://www.primark.com/en/whats-new/ar...

Hi everyone. So today I am going to be doing a highly requested hair tutorial and it is how I use the Primark sniffing sponge rollers, because I do it differently without the velcro so get ready to see my naturalness now, please excuse the whole onesie the whole wet hair. Job' and but today I'm going to show you how I do the sponge sleeping rollers from Primark, so they originate, looks like is in and in the package. It comes in a pack of eight and they are two pounds. I actually have lots of existing ones in this in this jar here and and some of the big ones, some of the smaller ones that you can also get from Primark. I think that's a like a pack of 14 for two pounds, or so when I wash my hair. I do do it at nighttime, because it's just easier because my hair takes quite a while to dry and and also because I like to sleep in sparse rollers. So I are about to go to bed, so I recommend having kind of towel dried hair, I may leave it to dry for about 20 more minutes and and then I will be right back okay, so I've left it to dry for another 20 or so minutes. So it's a lot more dry and easy to work with, and I also will be doing a hair routine wet to dry, so full routine. Where I use how I you know just everything that I do and I just thought I would do this first because a lot of you have been asking and what I actually do first, is I use a barrel brush or say from Primark, so I find where My fringe is it's basically kind of dry anyway, and but I always do it on the cool setting and just kind of get that how I like it and it just kind of sets it nicely ready for the next few days when I'm not washing my hair And then I clip it back just to keep it out the way, while I'm doing my rollers so I'd like that, I actually take about Crowe off the rollers, so I literally just pop out sponge because velcro isn't actually good for your hair. Obviously, if it's close like attached for a length of time and you pull it off, imagine the damage it would do to that strand of hair. So I just have it as as the sponge as the sponge and, let's go so. I DS a mixture of the fat and thin and you will just see em as I go. That'S kind of not really any logic to it and but I do start with em half of my hair. I often start with the left side, so I normally start here and then twist this one and then grip it up, I'm just using the Primark core clips just to do this FYI. Okay, so I start by just combing through just to make it all not free and to make it easier to roll them and also when you unroll them in the morning. You know you want it to be nice, otherwise you can end up being all a bit. Hagrid, so when you normally see rollers on people, you see them. You know around the front and round here and so, but because we're sleeping in them you can still wear them here, because they're spongy. If you lie on them, you can you know it's absolutely fine, but I still prefer to somewhat roll them towards the back end, but I will show you that now so see this is the large one, and then this is one of the small ones you can You'Ll be able to tell with some of the sponges that they're well-loved, but this is just good because I can see it determines how tight I did at that time and like how I like it and things, but I'm gon na start with a fat one, and I work from the back to the front, so I'm gon na take a section from up here, comb that through once more you can race. You at my hairs work the kind of different tones it has in the hood. So I actually start about halfway down my hair and I wrap the hair around the sponge. I just feel that it's easier to get all the entire length of hair. If you did this way and then you make sure the end is somewhat tucked and then you roll it up, I just actually love this whole process. That'S so much fun continue rolling until you get to the top and then hair grab in place through a bit of the hair and then make sure it touches through to behead. You don't want to poke holes through the actual sponge, so make sure you feel where the hair is where the head is, and then you can secure it in place so, depending on how much hair you have will depend on them, will determine the amount of rollers. You need and hair grips, then my hair is naturally quite curly and wavy, but this just makes them more defined and more easy to manage and my sister, whose hair is nearly straight. It also works just the same, but it will probably fall quicker if your hair sinner and I have very thick hair as to my family. So it does stay in and like the next two days until you wash it - and I repeat the process so halfway in the hair wrap the hair around making sure that the end is secured. By that I mean kind of tucked under, as you can see, it's kind of a little bit laying there and then just roll that up and hair grow better. When you do this, you definitely don't want your hair to be wet by the way you want it to feel like it's kind of been rained on, and so it's dry and paisas bit damp in some places. So if you want a tighter curl, you don't need to have less of a section, less hair in the section - and you just kind I just twist mine - to make it easier to and curl up so again start it halfway and wrap the hair around. I feel like I went over wrap the hair around. It takes a little longer because, obviously it's a small sponge and then we just roll up. I feel like I'm just staring you right now. They want to reach the scalp, go ahead and hairgrip that again, so if you want a normal night sleep, so you don't feel anything on the side. I would stop it behind your ear. That'S as far forward as I would go and if you want to try, do it normally they go for it, but I just find it's easier to sleep when I just leave a bit of section, so I can just love, and so I've literally just got this Left now of this side and I've got a little bit of baby hair, but I may just leave that out or no I'll just quickly rolled up again. This just defines the cows and makes it easier to manage, and my hair is very kind of a kinky. Karl, Oh kinky curve in Griffin place. Okay. Now I more towards the front. I tend to go kind of more and smaller sections here and but you know you don't want it like tight, ringlets and then like waves, and this way it just kind of sit differently. So you've got kind of the slightly tighter curls and then the more bouncy ones, and but obviously, when you comb it through in the morning, it will all blend and looks perfectly great. So for this section I'm going to use a small one. Let me just find one this next section, I'm going to use a big fat sponge and just to kind of even it out and with this one you'll see what I mean and I say roll it to the back. So I start halfway as normal and twist that around and then I roll it once just to secure the majority of the end and then I kind of twist and wrap and then find a space at the back which is struggling to do right now. Is it found one little space, I'm just a hair grab that and then, with the area, that's left. I am just going to divide that into two. So I'm going to move like a bit of the top half like so so this bit, where my fringe is all bangs. It'S going to just kind of my friend your end here and then the curls start, and it will just fall really nicely, and so I will do that bit first and with this one, I'm using a it's blue hair and place a small roller now with these Ones at the front they're a lot easier because you can just stick them on top of your head rather than wrapping them around, and but if you do have more sections at the front than the back, then you obviously can just keep pushing around cuz. You don't need the curl to start other actual hedge, it's nice to have sort of like about that. Much that's not a curl and then have the ends done because, if they're on the top of your head, I see sleep on the top of your head, which Wow, if you're doing that's quite impressive and then you're not going to feel them. When you sleep, you don't really feel them anyway, but, as I said, I'm a kind of sleeper that needs to be incomplete then find a wonderful. This half again, I will probably just use a small one, then hairgrip in please. So this is what the last side looks like and I'm now going to go ahead and do this side and I'll be right back with you. Obviously, this doesn't look how it looks when they do it in the movies, but it's not going to. If you want to do it a certain way and it's a lot better for your hair, then if you do do it with the velcro on them, so that is me done. I am going to go and head to bed and see you in the morning. Also. It will look a bit judged when you wake up because obviously is slept on it and also, if any of feeling a bit loose just go ahead and hair group them some more and then it was morning I showered open my makeup on and now I'm taking. My hair out so on the day I've actually felt miss a few days ago. I did lose my voice, but obviously I wanted to finish the video for you guys. So here I am just um. You know I'm doing them taking out the bobby pins and just combing them through to kind of soften them up a little bit and that's all it is really hopefully already really quite not free, because we came to so much, and here is that slide done about To do the other side and then all finished, and then I comb it to blend the cows through and then I style it start up how you want to, but I go for my go-to half-up half-down, thanks Dutch for watching. Oh
