Hey guys, it's aria here and i'm back with another video and, like you guys see my title, i'm going to be showing you guys how to do these jumbo marley twists. It'S been a long time since, like i sat down and like did a tutorial or talked to the camera, so this is a little odd for me. I don't know about you guys, but yeah. I wanted to show you guys a tutorial on these. Do a little bit break from my visual diaries, but before you start fast pause, video go scratch my channel and let's go ahead and write this video, even though this is not a visual diary. I still feel like this is a little bit of a visual diary, because your girl is hopping back into doing like her own hair, her own, like maintenance things, i've been spending a lot of money on like just painting things like lashes, hair nails like all that Type of stuff - and i want to get back to where i used to just like you know - could do it on my own i'm doing marley twist. I have done my twists a lot a lot back in the day, but i haven't done it in a while. So i wanted to show you guys a tutorial on me doing these marley twists. They came out really cute and i just love how distressed they are, and everything like that. So for this one, i'm actually going to be doing it heatless as well, because my hair is heat damaged, like i probably mentioned before on my channel, and i want to make sure i'm not using any heat while i'm cutting off all the heat damage that i Have in my hair, so everything is going to be heatless and also this is a very affordable and quick hairstyle. This took me about four hours to do so, not long at all, compared to like 10 hours of doing braids. So you know we're easing our way back into doing our own hair, like you know something quick, not like a whole days process, yeah, let's go ahead and hop right into this tutorial, all right guys, starting off with taking down my hair. Like i said, this is a heatless hairstyle, so today i'm going to be using the jamaican twist braid. I got it in the color too, because it's my hair color, i'm using eco styling gel, thank god, i'm natural edge control a brush, and this is where i keep my rubber bands at and then i'm also using a rat tail comb for my hair to help Part, it of course, so that is what i'm doing right now um. I decided that i wanted to part my hair before i actually start like doing my hair just to try something different, because usually what i do is i just like go section like by section, but i felt like that would just be too time consuming, and i Will say i like this way a lot better than just like doing it like one section at a time, i would like to say that i did section the front off way different than what i actually went with, but this is just kind of like an outline Of like how i part my hair, the front is obviously a lot better than the back, but i feel like i did pretty decent on party on this. So since i didn't blow up my hair, i decided to just go ahead and brush out each section. Just so it can look a little bit more stretched out and then once i had brushed it all, i went ahead and go ahead and start with my first section, so this section was kind of big, but i didn't. I did end up making it a little bit smaller and i kind of regret that because i feel like the back look a little bit bulky now, but we're not gon na talk about that. Now that my hair is prepped to start twisting, i'm going to go ahead and start with the hair. So i decided to do two pieces in the back like two of the little strand things, because that's how the marley twist is kind of made up. If that makes sense, and so then i went ahead and start so what i'm going to be doing today, i'm going to be doing the rubber band method. I just feel like it's the easiest way for beginners to start out with. So that's what i went with so what i did was i put the rubber band on my hair first before i did anything with the hair. There is a way that you can like put the rubber band on with the added in here, but i just felt like that was just too hard, so i just did it like this. So when i started out by section, i decided to start with the braid. So what i did was is i had my hair in the middle and then i had the braiding hair on each side of my of my real hair and then i braided down like two to three times and then once i felt like my hair was in The middle again, that's when i split my hair and two into the pieces of the synthetic marley here and then i just started twisting like normal. So when my natural hair was starting to run out, i made sure to put extra gel on my hair so that it can blend easier in with the marley twist and then i twisted it all the way down. So once i got to the end to help secure my twists because, like i literally didn't even boil my hair after, like the ends, so what i did to secure it is, i just started to braid it like towards the end like i just sprayed it like Normal and then once i felt like it was braided enough, i went back to twisting it, so i'm going to let you guys watch the rest of me doing the back of my hair and then once we get to the front, i will be telling us what I did because i did do it a slight bit different than what i did in the back just so it can look a lot neater in the front than in the back, so i'll see y'all just a second so enjoy the aesthetics, perfect brian foreign foreign. So now we're at the front so for the front. What i did different was one i used the thank god, i'm natural edge control just so it can have like a much sleeker look on the top of my head and then i also only use one strand of the marley twist instead of two like i did. The back so when i put the marley twist on for the front instead of braiding it down one like two three times, i only braided it down one time just so that it can look more like a twist and less like a braid, because in the back It kind of at the top it looks like a braid and not like a twist all the way from start to finish. So that's what i did just to make it look a lot more seamless and a lot more clean. So here's my hair all finished, i'm not going to lie at the very first glance. I did not like it, but after like after i put a scarf on and just pretty much just let it set overnight. I really liked it in the morning, so i did put it in this hairstyle right here, because i was trying to see how i was gon na make it work. If i really didn't like it in the morning - and i actually really love this hairstyle - i don't know it just gives a little bit of flair but yeah guys, that's the hairstyle all right guys.
