Hey everyone welcome back in this video, I'm going to show you guys how to do a three strand twist, starting off with freshly washed hair. The first thing I'm going to do is fix my part and make sure it's nice and straight I usually like to do a side part. I think it's most flattering for my face, so I'm gon na go ahead and just fix that part and just wet my hair because it gets dry pretty fast. So I'm gon na go ahead and just free what it'd make sure I don't have any tangles before I start. Okay, once my hair is nice and damp, I'm going to go in with the Shea Moisture extra moisture, transitioning milk and I'm going to apply that all over my hair. Once I was done applying the transitioning milk, I parted my hair in different sections, and I went in with the diva curl extra hold gel. I think about that. Much and then I went in and I applied it perfection just to make sure that the gel was evenly applied through every hair. Here I am just feeding off the hair and just separating my hair into three even strands and to begin I'm going to start off with a braid just to make sure that my roots are nice and tight. Because if I start straight off with the twists, it's not gon na hold in my roots and is going to slowly fall apart. Okay, once I was done with the braid here, you can see that I'm starting the three strand twist and the only thing you're doing is moving the very last piece of hair all the way to the left. So there's the hair you're moving it to the left. You'Re grabbing the second piece and you're moving it right back to the left. The hairs stay in order, they don't go zigzag or one goes in the middle like a braid, you leaving them in the same order and you're taking the very last piece and moving it to the left. It'S very easy once you get the hang of it. I promise once I was done with the first strand. I took an elastic and I tied it to at the end because it was not holding on itself depending on your hair type. You may not have to use in hair elastics to tie the ends, but I had to use one because it just wouldn't hold. So I just wanted a nice high D and just to make sure that the strand was nicely secured. Now I'm just going to go ahead and repeat the same process throughout my entire hair. Now Here I am again starting out with the braid just to secure the roots and going in with the three strands works once I was done with my entire hair. This is what the strands look like: they look really pretty and pretty defined. I am gon na go to bed now and you want to make sure you sleep on a satin pillowcase just to avoid any frizz in the morning. The next morning, I accidentally forgot to record at the beginning of me untwisting my three strand twist, but I did start by spraying a little bit of the Shea Moisture finishing elixir in my hands before I started on twisting the twists just to avoid any frizz. And I started on twisting these very slowly and very gently again to avoid friends. One coin was completely done taking out the twist, and I wasn't too sure how I felt about it. To be honest, this was actually the first time I did the three strand twist on myself. I'Ve seen it on other girls and it looks absolutely beautiful, but I didn't get the volume that I wanted. So I did fluff out my hair with my hands and then I used my pick to try and fluff it out even more and it still wasn't as voluminous as I liked or as I hoped for, but it looked okay after about 10 minutes or so of Fluffing up my hair, I decided to take this headband. I think I got it for me to Walmart or Target it has really cute jewels on it and I applied it to the front of my hair and I just pinned the front section back and fluffed out the crown part and I think it looked really cute. I wasn't really feeling the way it looked completely loose because it wasn't as voluminous as I liked, so this was sufficient, but that is it for this video. I hope you guys found it helpful if you decide to do the three strand twist police tagged me in a picture. I would love to see it. Thank you so much for watching and I will see you in the next one. Bye

briarts: Beautiful results! If you separate the twists more, they become more voluminous. I've never tried 3 strand twists, but I know with two strand twists, my hair personally has more volume by the following day. I'm never fully satisfied with the twists once I first take them down.

AlliStyle: So freaking gorgeous. Love this so much xxx

Brandirell: Super cute!! For more volume you have to separate more but then you might sacrifice definition.  It's the struggle of the twist out. lol I love how you used the headband though.  Super creative.  I just subbed.  Can't wait to see more!

THE FASHION REVIEW: Lovely!!
