Hi friends! I am here again! This time I am sharing how I DIY long layered haircut which i've been doing on myself eversince my gray hair transition and esp now that almost all salons in my area are closed due to lockdown. It's my personal preference to cut my own hair and I am comfortable and happy with it even if it is not really perfect.Saves me money and a trip in going to the salons.

Hope this video will be of help.

Friends, welcome back to my channel now today it's a new experiment because i needed a a hair trim, because the ends of my hair are so dry, so now we're gon na. Do it on our own. Now this is not the first time i've got my hair in layers, but i haven't done it in a while. So i don't really know brush bring it all forward. Okay, so bring it all forward like this, so make a ponytail all right like this tightly and then, of course, this front here is the length of my hair on the back all right. So now another um ponytail another time in here all right and then we're gon na cut. Maybe two inches like this. Oh my god. I hope this is not a fail so because i really just want to cut this dry ends of my hair because it feels annoying when i can feel feel it in my hair. So, okay anyways guys, i'm not a professional. So i'm just relying on the youtube tutorial on how to cut hair. So probably i'm gon na cut like this. This all right wish me luck! Okay, so i guess it's about um yeah, two inches! Okay, i'm shaking i'm just point cutting this point cup tada! It'S gone and then just point cut: okay, so that's the first layer, first layer and then we're gon na unravel. Oh there's, the back, still long and then now for the second layer. We'Re gon na take a hair from uh on the upper part of the ear and get a section of hair here. Can you see so this is the second layer and then we're gon na bring it forward again. Okay, see just on top of the ear, bring it all forward, and then we will put it in or tie it again in a ponytail and then we're gon na cut. Just like the first cut that i did like uh two inches so yeah about like this. All right, let's hope that i can cut all the dry ends right. Let'S cut all right guys, so that's the second layer now, let's unravel and you see you can see, but that's the second layer, so my hair is still long and then now we're gon na. Do the third layer which is like from here where your eyebrows ends we're gon na take sections of the hair again and then the same as what we did we're gon na bring it all forward. All right now guys we're gon na tie this part again. This section now, of course, we're gon na cut about the same length like uh. Two inches point cut all right right done with the third layer, guys, oh my god, it feels so much better. I can no longer feel the dry ends, so that's the third layer. So here is the back. I don't know if i'm doing it right, but i just wanted to show you if this video will help you in cutting your hair at home, so yeah. Thirdly, you're done still long now we're gon na move on to the last layer. I'M gon na do it here on top and again bring it forward with the comb the brush, but this time i'm not really gon na cut like two inches, i'm just gon na thin out the ends or point cut all right done with the last layer. I think wow we did. It feels good. So now the dry ends are gone like it feels even healthier, ah success. I guess i will cut a little bit in the back, just maybe an inch to remove the dry parts too. So so there it is guys. There'S the back side and it's still long on the other side. What do you think guys? Is it a success so anyways guys after cutting the ends two inches? I will try to feel if i can still feel any roughness on the ends of my hair and then what i will do is to texturize or still cut whatever roughness. I can feel on the ends of my hair and i'm gon na use this the thinning scissor, it's the one, with the like a teeth. So what i do is to feel whatever is rough and then see that there's a rough um parts of the hair and then i'm gon na twist it like this and then i'm just gon na cut it with a thinning scissor like that. So there you go just to um, you know still cut the remaining dry ends, and this is how i texturize the the layers. So yes, that is how i texturize the layers guys, and this is the back now as you can see. So that's it. My friends. I hope you enjoyed watching my diy layered haircut to those who are new to my channel. Please don't forget to subscribe and please don't forget to tick the bell notification for my future uploads and, of course, to my friends already. Thank you so much again for watching my video and bye see you next time much love from angel one one, one. Two, two

DMLK CS: I never thought of layering my hair that way. Thanks Angel! I’m going to try it this weekend and save a trip to the hairdresser You did a great job, your hair looks awesome!

April March: Just did this cut in my bathroom and I LOVE IT! Saved so much time and money versus going to the dresser and only just sort of being happy with my cut. I don't plan on going back! Thank you! PS, hubby loves it too!!!!!

MzCheecharella: Yours is the BEST "cutting Long layers" You Tube video. It's WAY easier than some, but the results YOU GOT are FANTASTIC. I just did mine, (which is the same length as yours), but I was a little too timid about cutting enough off to layer it as well as you did. I'm watching your video again, so I can go back for another round. Thank you SO MUCH!!!

R K: By far this is the best long hair tutorial do it yourself!! I watched several of them and even tried a few which only wound up botching my hair. This one has perfect results and is so very easy to do and understand. Thank you so much for sharing your secrets with us! I just love my results and always will cut this way

Lena Farnsworth: I love this method! I found it a few years ago and it works so well. I don't like the shortest layer quite so short, so I only do the first 2 or 3 steps. This time I did do a face framing long bang, too, and just kind of blended it down at an angle into the shortest layer, and it actually turned out really well.

Christine Charriere: Great job cutting your own hair! It looks like you had a professional cut it. I agree that it looks much better trimming the ends off. Thank you for sharing & making it easy to understand.

Gwendolyn Warren: You look gorgeous girl! ❤️ Thank you Angel for this awesome, easy to follow tutorial!!! I’m totally going to try this at home now Sharing the love to save us a trip to the hairdresser ‍♀️ love it!

Brealene Hagen: I love this. I just got done and my hair looks fantastic. Haven't had layers since highschool, 12 years ago. Went from long straight to long and layers. Thank you so much ❤️.

L Allen: I like how you did multiple sections of ponytails and then cutting; most videos on YouTube only do the one ponytail and then cut. I've been searching for something that would add layers all the way up rather than just having layers at the bottom of my hair. Great tutorial, and your hair looks fabulous!

Kathie Harrop: I immediately cut my hair after watching video, just like you instructed, and it turned out great. I had to take an extra 2” off the ends. Success!!! You saved me mucho $$. Thank you so much.

Amber McCoy: Omg thank you for this video! I have been working so hard to grow out my hair since it was sadly butchered. I have been so scared to do anything for fear of loosing my length. I just got done doing this! I am soooooo happy! I have length, layers, and no dry rats! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

MargaretTalks: I just did this to my hair and I love it!! After styling I feel glamorous. thanks for the video!

dyeitb1ack: Thank you beautiful lady! finally a tutorial that gave me the layers and haircut I wanted! Your hair looks gorgeous, love the colour x

Luko Flo: Wow, this is amazing!! Went to find my normal 'go to' hair cutting video only to find it had gone!! So I found yours and it's funny how things turn out because yours is way better for me, and the results are GREAT!!! I'm so pleased, haven't even got corrections to go and do (normally I'm faffing for days). Very happy, thank youuuuu! And your hair looks amazing :) X

Marisa Cowan: HEYYYYY! I just cut my hair using this technique!!! OMG it worked! I LOVE it and so does my BF. My hair is, was long, longer than yours. I have have grays but they don't look as good as yours lol. Thanks so much for making me feel good about my hair again!

Shield of Faith: beautiful haircut! your hair looks great :) I really love this one and tried it last night and really like it. In the past when I went to the hairdresser to see if I could get layers like this, it never turned out this way and most of the time didn't have layers so I'm glad I can do this at home. love the volume it gives too. it doesn't look flat

GOOFY GOOBERS: I'm going to try this! I haven't had my hair cut in a couple years and it needs layers but don't want to spend the money or have to get a baby sitter! Yours turned out beautiful

Barbara Thompson: O.M.G. I was getting ready to pay $50. for a haircut when I came across this video!! Now I will cut my own hair from now on. Thank You! I love this ❤️

It took me longer to end cut. I did the 4 layers. Love it! Just washed last night so looking forward to next wash and see how it behaves. Thanks for sharing!

Christine Green: Thanks. I did this tonight finally, and it needs some texturizing and shaping, but I don't feel like it was a bad idea. I haven't had a haircut in so long. I've forgotten. I used to always cut my own hair, but then I broke my shoulder and I can't even touch the back of my head with my right arm. And, I'm right handed.

Social Butterfly🦋🌼: Great job! Your hair is Gorgeous. I’m waiting on my scissors to arrive, then I’m doing this too
