Today's video is a topic which i wanted to share for the longest time. I am not a professional stylist and I've only shared my views based on my personal experience. Hope this helps you to decide what you should opt for.

Hi guys welcome back to my channel as you read the title today, we are going to be discussing on why you should not get a layer cut done like in my channel. If you have seen, i would have totally talking about layer, cut carrot in and all these uh stuffs, but today it's going to be a little contrasting, where i tell you guys why you should not get a layer cut done so stay tuned. Watch till the end and if you're new here hi my name is minishia. So if you are interested, then please keep on first reason why you should not get a layer cut. Is. Are you someone who, like ponytails? So if you are someone who likes ponytails and like to flaunt a ponytail more often in your uh dressing up thing overall, then this is something which is going to destroy the look of a ponytail like honestly, unless you have like the first layer, starting from this Length, it is not going to look flattering because it will give you these pokey kind of thing in the back, and overall, your ponytail shape is not going to look really nice honestly. So a ponytail on a layer, cut hair, looks so much different compared to a normal haircut, which is like a u-cut or a v-card, but if you're someone who's okay doing that, then please go ahead. Otherwise, it's better! You skip it now. The second reason why you should not get a layer cut is you have to forget braiding or twisting your hair like? Are you someone interested in doing a lot of hairstyles like different types of braids twists and all that this is not going to be supportive of any of these hairstyles? Because when you twist your hair, this is going to happen and when you braid your hair, that is also not going to stay. Because again, all your hair is going to come out like this, so decide it. For yourself, number 3 layer cut is beautiful. I'M not denying that, but you have to do a equal maintenance for that, and you have to be open to blow drying your hair and setting it perfectly. Every time you go out to have that proper hair shape. Otherwise, this is how you'll end up looking like it's not gon na look flattering, especially if you're someone who has dry and frizzy hair, because it is going to poof up the volume even more like. Currently i have keratin in my hair, and this is how my hair looks naturally washed and dried. But if you don't have keratin as well, then it will look even more poofy and it's not really that flattering now. The fourth reason why you should not get a layer cut done is: are you someone who like longer hair you like the length of the hair, then trust me if you do a ponytail, it's just going to be like half of the length of that. So definitely your ponytails are going to look shorter and not as long as how your hair normally falls so be prepared for that as well. Now the fifth one is, you can do a lower ponytail if you want to maintain the length, but what happens when you do a lower ponytail is. This is how your hair is going to look like 10 or 15 minutes later after you do your lower ponytail, the hair starts coming all over in the front and in the sides, and it is not very flattering as well. You cannot have a hairstyle which is not falling on your face when you get layer. Cut done so be prepared for that as well. The last reason why you should not get a layer cut done is because, if you have to do even a small, smooth, half updo, your hair will not stay really smooth from front. It is going to come out on all the sides, and sometimes your hair is like really short in the front which can't even reach to the back so be prepared for that as well. Now again, honestly, layer cut is beautiful and it gives like really voluminous hair for someone who has like really thin hair. But it's not the job done thing because you have to maintain it. You have to do a lot of steps to maintain the appearance of it, and that is something you have to do extra and you have to be aware before getting it done and if you're someone who's in school and college or if and you have a uniform Hairstyle then, this is definitely not for you, because if you have to braid your hair, it is impossible with layer cut honestly. So that's it. Those are all the things which i wanted to share with you guys. I hope you guys liked it. Promita Koley: There's two types of layer cut. One is short layer and another one is long hair.. Those who have long hair they can definitely go for long layer cut. specially if she has wavy hair it's gonna look Fabolous even the ponytail looks great due to all the curls. I've done that in my sister's hair.. She loved it... But for the one who has straight and short hair definitely it's gonna be a problem
Debasmita Mukherjee: I like a front layer, not for the whole hair. I keep the backside hair aside for round cut or just a simple trimming. Trust me it looks good , easier to handle & doesn't interrupt hair growth at all . So those are interested in layer cut, but at the same time is worried about the negative consequences, should give this idea a try. You won't be disappointed.

Anamika Chandra: In 2017..i cut my hair in layers 2-3 times..but it didnt suit me bcz i had dry hair..since my childhood I always love long hair and in the last 4-5 years I have grown my hair to hip length(still I cant cut it in straight only in U shape)eventhough my bf now wants me to cut my hair in layers I am not planning to do so bcz layer cut will be miserable for those who want long hair..if u are a person who want long hair pls go for either u,v or straight cut

Like if u like layers only on front tell them face framing layers only If u want layers till shoulders Tell them : layers till shoulder length I hv faced all these probs earliear n decided to customised as my face shape Im of round face so my hair style is (Angular long layers in the front 2 step layers on face + Shoulder and bust layers + Back side full plain blunt cut ) This allows you to have braids and to the open hair
Harshitha Dabbiru: The only problem with the layer cut is you can't braid the hair as the hair has layers these will come out of the hair and look so mess . That's what happend most of the time when you braid them but it looks good when you have open hair.
