Hi, I'm Dennis Joseph from Detroit Michigan global educator for Bayless pro today we're going to be sharing a long, layered woman's haircut using only clippers step, one cutting the line to do this, we're going to use our Bayless Pro Ferrari clipper the technique for doing this is We'Re going to hold the Clipper in the comb. In the same hand, it gives us the ability to one comb, the hair down and cut our length, as well as comb the hair up and cut our layers. Once you've created a nice strong perimeter on the back you're going to want to go ahead, turn the head to the side, take the hair from the front and we're going to want to go ahead and connect that to the back once you've established your perimeter. It'S time to go ahead and section off your layers. We do that by beginning off in the back one a section head, often from ear to ear, so that we have half of our hair in the front and half in the back in the back. We want to take three equal vertical sections to help integrate these sections from our shortest layers into our lengths ready the curvature of the head. You want to create a V by creating these V's. It helps integrate short into long. You want to duplicate the same section on each side, once you've had the three sections in the back. We want to go ahead and transfer those onto the front. We do that by following this line to create our first section. Now you have your three sections in the back. You also have three diamond sections in the front. What this is going to do is going to give us six total sections. These are going to create our layering and cascade over the whole haircut step. Three is cutting your layers. We do that by starting off in the center back layer, keep in mind when we're cutting these and we're pulling these layers up. You always want your fingers to be facing towards the core so that you cut from your guide out towards your length. Add a little bit of notching to create a skyline effect, go ahead and lay that section down after you've cut your back middle section. You'Re going to want to take that guide and you're going to want to transfer it to each one of your sections. When cutting the side back sections, we want to make sure that we take our guide and we connect it to our length. If we cut straight across, we could take a chance of losing our length continue on. Take your guide and connect it to your three sections. Throughout the front, just like we did in the back, the fourth and final step is those minor details. What we want to do is go back through and take vertical sections we're just slightly going to connect this layer with our length perfect. Whatever you girls, looking for in a long layered haircut, maintain length and create that beautiful hourglass silhouette.

Grey Wolf Walking: Good job! Got it! Easy technique to deploy!

Dar Candelaria: What are the benefits of the clipper cuts? How is this method better than scissors? Is it healthier for the hair? Is it more damaging? You did great very professional but the clippers scare me a bit.
