All right so we're all finished room or not is trimmed. Now we're going to go in and curl her hair. So what I'm going to do is go in and give her not a lot of body and just like some fun flirty curls using my flat iron. That'S my tool of choice, basically, because, even though I have a plethora of irons and tools to use, I like to be able to get the job done with one. So I'm not going to straighten her hair any more because we blow-dried a bone straight for her trim. And so I'm just going to go in and show you guys, basically how I curl for maximum body and fullness. And it gives the hair a nice amount of flow, and it's great for if you do have layered hair like Renata's. So let's get started my tool of choice today is my FHI iron. This is my baby. I'Ve been using shì since I started my career and I love it. It'S a ceramic iron. It gets up to about 450. It definitely is great for a good shine and nice hold. I prefer this particular barrel because when it's closed, it's more of a round shape. So it's going to help give your curls that round that roundness, that you want I'm going to start and just put a little bit of serum all through our Natas hair. I try not to use very much product on the hair because I like to keep it nice and light and it helps the hair flow and it lasts a lot longer with minimal product. But I also want something: that's going to help protect our hair from the heat, which is why I like vain to tear and then it also helps with reverting it, helps the hair stay and lasts a little bit longer. So, basically, what I do with my clients is I like to curl the hair, a few different directions, because that gives it maximum volume and fullness and they like it because it lasts a lot longer. When you do one process with the iron, your curls last longer versus doing a straightening job first and then going back in and curling it over again. So basically with the bottom parts of the hair, I like to try and curl the hair away from the face. So I take my flat iron and I curl backwards and I just glide the flat iron straight down like so so I'm going to go section by section, I'm going to do a few of the ones around face going backwards and then I'll rotate my iron and Go in a different direction, so now I'm curling the hair under just straight under a little bit little flick of the wrist, and then I let the curls sit. I'M doing that because I want to give her a lot of volume around her face and I don't want to give her like the 70s Farrah Fawcett. Look where the Flitz curls start Oh in front of the face. I wanted to be a little bit more relaxed, not so intentional, so most of my curls that are going backwards are behind behind her temple. Basically, so I start my curl right at the base and I turn the iron as soon as it goes on to the root of the hair. That'S what gives it the fullness and the volume you all right. So I'm finishing up curling Renata's hair. A few things I wanted to point out was number one. When you curl, don't touch the curls until they cool off, because it's harder to put texture into the hair than it is to take it out and what I mean by that is, if you pull and tuck on the hair, while it's still hot you're going to Have to go back over that section again and it either might not curl as easily or you'll, be putting more heat on the hair than what's needed. So to avoid that and to avoid having a backtrack and restyle. Just let the hair cool down first, and if you feel like one part, is maybe too curly. You can straighten it out a lot easier by using product or brush or comb and get it to the style that you wanted to be in versus going back over. It and over it curling it tighter and tighter. So, as you can see, Ranade didn't touch your hair and play all in it. That'S a hairstylist pet peeve. Just let us finish because the style goes through changes as we're working. So that's another thing that you want to remember and then also because we're not as layers are so high up. I made sure that, even though I want body in the top, I didn't curl her top as tightly as I curled her bottom for two reasons: one because you don't want the hair to look super high and you know kind of old school for lack of a Better word and then to gravity is going to pull the length down. So you want to make sure you overcompensate for that by curling the bottom a little bit tighter because they're not getting more wear out of their style. So now, like I said, I'm letting her hair cool down first before I decide to go and comb it all out. So I'm going to use my camera working spring and it's a very light hold aerosol spray and what that's going to do is kind of just lock in the texture that I've created with my flat irons. So now I'm using a little bit of another product. I like by kendra, is called texturizing toffee and what that's basically going to do is put a nice finish on the hair. It has a really amazing smell to it and I'm basically pulling out all of her curls kind of making. Everything come together a little bit, because we want to make sure that our girls basically sit on top of each other and cascade downward. So we're pulling the hair away from the face kind of letting the curls drop some just feeling through it bring your curls to life, don't just curl them and let them sit there unless they're going out later and they can do it themselves. So now I'm going to go in with the wider to the comb and separate a little bit push that hair up there. It is nice texture flowing hair, nice curls, the last you probably all week. Are you good to go so full and bouncy too thanks for watching make sure you subscribe to my youtube channel at Angelo, see styles and I'll, see you next time.
