Hi guys, my name is Cynthia dem dis, and today I am going to be showing you guys how I do these curls. I have this hairstyle a lot so every time I post on my story, people are always asking how I did my hair, so I am going to show you guys. I feel, like people already know how to do this, but I mean I get this request. So often that I'm just gon na put it out there for you guys for those who are interested. So if you guys want to see how I get my everyday curls keep watching so today I am going to be using the GHD one-and-a-quarter soft curl iron. It does have a clamp, so I do have a beginners curling iron tutorial. If you guys do not know how to curl with a clamp, then definitely check that one out you guys can do it with a wand or whatever you guys feel most comfortable with. But this is what I like to use, so I start off by sectioning from the top of my ear and I put the rest of my hair up and just work with everything below my ear. I like to take a section as big as the curling iron. So the curling iron - if you put it like this, it's about that big. If you want bigger curls, you can take bigger sections. If you want smaller PCEHR curls, you can take smaller sections and everything I am gon na go away from the face, so split it. In half this side, I'm gon na go curl away from my face this side, I'm gon na curl. That way. So I like to start between the top in the middle, so probably around here and I start here - I clamp it and I curl away from my face and I like to get the ends, but I don't leave it on that long. I actually like this. I just like it super loose and quick. This curling iron works really well, so I don't need to leave it that long. If you guys have hair that does not curl then definitely leave it on longer. You guys know your hair, the best you guys know if you guys can loosen up the curls or you guys have to leave it tight. You guys throw your hair the best, so do what you guys feel is best for your hair type same thing here and I like to hold my curling iron up and down so vs.. This way I like to hold it this way and then for this side same thing, but I'm gon na be going now. I'M gon na be curling this side away from my face, so the clap is gon na be facing forward and I'm gon na curl outside and I make sure to get the ends. If I want more of a beachy look, I would have the end more Street, but for this look I like the ends curled just a little bit, so this is pretty much how easy it is. This is all I do throughout my whole hair. So that was my first section. My second section is about from here. I kind of just get a whole W shape section and tie it off. I mean this kind of depends on how much hair you guys have. You guys might not need to do this. Many sections you guys can probably do less. I like putting the curling lines like this, because it's more of a it goes more vertical. I don't know how to explain it, but if you do it like this is more of a chunkier curl. If you hold the curling iron horizontal, there's so many little tips and tricks when it comes to curling your hair and the way you hold your curling iron, the spot that you put your curling iron, like so many things that can change the way the curls look. So I love teaching a little tips and tricks, I'm so used to explaining things in depth like flat iron curls or how to curl with a curling iron those things that have to be so specific and explained in detail. Just because I want you guys to really understand, a lot of people are just like. Oh my God, thank you so much you explained it so well, or the other percentage of people are just like you talk too much. You do not need to talk that much. I just don't feel right, not explaining every single detail. I have to make sure that I explain everything have everything in my head to put it out and tell you guys, because it will bug me if I watch it over and I'm like. I didn't mention this. I didn't mention that and it won't drive me crazy anyways. So that was my little rant for today. So again taking sections the size of my curling iron starting pipe up on the Strad, going away from my face. Curling all the way to the ends and then just letting it go. So, let's see what can I talk to you guys about? Do you guys? How do you guys style your hair? Do you guys, like more of the everyday hairstyles kind of like this curls waves versus braiding up dude type of things, or do you guys, like more of the updos braids type of videos when it comes to you guys, looking up hair styles, I personally like these. This is more my jam just like the easy everyday type of hairstyles, but I'm curious to know what you guys think and would you guys like and then let me see. I think this might be my last section. Yes, I'm gon na do my bangs last, but these pieces are shorter. As you can see, I have layers, I start more half halfway than in the very top I start kind of like here and just roll, and I like to do it very fast, because the shorter sections tend to get that really curly a lot quicker and I'm Taking exceptions like this, so I did that in three sections: okay, oh, wait! No I'm not done hold on. I forgot these okay for the bangs. They are shorter. So if you have long bangs that go past here, you can curl the same way as we did all of them. Now that I have shorter bangs, if you have a shorter than mine, you can just do a swoop, so kind of so go like this, and then it will just curve this way, because if you do a curl, it's gon na be like wow and you're gon Na look crazy, so I like to keep the front very soft, so this is how I do my front. I just get this piece. I start around my eye area and kind of do a little curl, like literally just kind of like that. Actually, I think that's fine I'll recur little Benny, but for now just start around the eye area and then twist it away from the face, and just like that, so I kind of just curled that ends. So I like to start off really soft and if I need to go over and curl it a little more than out, I do that so now, I'm gon na separate it. If you guys his hair does not hold curl, then you guys can leave it and let it fall throughout the day. But I am just gon na go ahead and shake it. I like to grab my fingers and kind of just go like this and shake it and open up the curls so like to do that. First, before I start raking my hands to it and then I'll start doing that then go on with a texture spray to mess it up a little bit. I'M gon na use a Micah's on done, texture spray and it just kind of adds. Texture movement messes. It up a little bit so I'm gon na add that throughout my hair - and you can flip your hair over and add it like here and it'll - add some volume as well, so you see how it just opens it up. Okay, so I don't know if you can tell - I was gon na show you guys something this side, I like better than this side. This is something that you guys can look for in your own hair. These little things like this, so I like this side better than this side, as you can see the Cypress um kind of just went down here and that's because I started this side, maybe a little higher than I did this side. So this side, I'm gon na get pieces and I'm gon na start it higher, because the curl fell all the way down here. So now you could. The curl kind of just goes whoop here and here it kind of frames, my face really nice and it's just as volume over here. This side is not that's a little tip for you guys to like look out for if you see that it is because you need to put the clamp higher when you curl the top pieces, so I'm gon na start high, actually and curl up here. I'M gon na do the same for this piece right here. Start it high right there. Now it's better up here, alright gay. So this is the final look. I hope you guys, like this tutorial, make sure to LIKE and subscribe, and I will see you guys next time.
