How To Wash And Blow Dry Your Synthetic Wig| The Glam Fam Wig Care Method

Okay, hey Cleo mommy. This is Tonia M and welcome back to my Channel today, I'm finally gon na put together the video showing y'all, how I revise my wigs a lot of people when they buy synthetic wigs. They think it's a waste, because you can only get one wear out of it and gets ratted and tied, and it just isn't nothing. You would do it after a while. So a lot of people think to just throw it away. Okay, so the way we're going to be demonstrating off today is on my favorite ways to add more, I post it on my Instagram. Excuse me it's 100 % rubbing human hair blends and I will post the link to the original video above and unfortunately, this is what she looks like him. It'S um Maddie in the back. It looks stringy who looks very synthetic like so and oh yeah. Also. This is where I had warned her laid her down with, got to be glue and it just it's a hot mess. So the first thing you want to do is get those tangles out of the wig, so I'm going to place her on mannequin, I'm manic ahead and pin are down social stay. Okay, so back her up a bit you'll, I need a brush if you can tangle with it's a just, a regular paddle brush and I'm just when I section her off and starting from the bottom up, I'm going to detangle. I love this way because of the shades of red. It'S not just one like matte shade. It'S our America, as I highlighted in, highlights low-light all that, so I'm just going to take it and take angle it from the ends going upwards. You can, should I get all the nuts out. This is where it's really Maddie in the back make sure to hit that. Obviously you all right, so she is detangled and she looks a little bit better just from just detangling it I wore her for a week. So she does have like the slights more than odor to her wherever I was so. I think that the smell, so let me open her. So this is how the back looks now very smooth next step is to watch. So, let's go okay, guys, I'm back and I have a bucket of lukewarm water. I got this one from Target. I forgot how much I paid for I'm pretty sure it's really really cheap, like a doll or something and um you want to use a this is garden food sheets, pure clean, fortified, shampoo, it's paraben, free and silicone free. It is a regular, regular shampoo. You didn't use any shampoo, you want. I don't suggest getting that shampoo, this my condition. Yes, I got like oils and stuff in it get one. That'S just regular, like conditioning get one. That'S regular like cleansing like a clarifying shampoo. That'S perfectly fine! I'M going to pour a little bit in here. That'S all you need and you're going to swish it around guys. I want to make this clear that I did get this message from another youtuber they're, our family YouTube they're, both husband and wife, they're, both hairdressers. So I want to make that clear. I don't know why they think I'm still in that. This is not my original method, there's something that I looked up on YouTube, and this is what worked for me. So I'm going to go with it and I'm going to share y'all exactly what I do and practice and show you that somebody who's, not a hairdresser, can take care of it. Sir, so I'm going to take the wig and dump her in and I wanted to. Let her get stuck in the water and we want to see all that's nasty, icky stuff break up, you're going to see on the dirt in the water and what not so I'm going to? Let it soak for a little bit. Then I'm gon na go come back and wipe all of this look off. You can kind of see it falling off now so yeah um, you see, as you can see like some of the products, is coming off the lace portion of it. So I'm just you want this, so I'm gon na, let it soak for about 15 minutes and then I'm going to come back and we'll finish the process: okay, okay, guys, I'm back and hasn't exactly been 15 minutes yet, but we want to just take my edge Brush and kind of like brush the back of the lace, not the hair and get some of that good rock dust to help it like the water and soaking it for a certain time. Pop this to loosen up and run get all the good work, especially off the best guys. This process can definitely save your favorite weight. Your steak punch chips, so this is something I was absolutely suggest for those who are on a tight budget and you just can't get every hairstyle or every week, so I'm iliza wig. I, like my cup, I actually have slowed down one. The on my on my section of it: that's just because honey modules come first and my children come first, but you know with that time of the year for Christmas, so I will slow down because of that I also actually stopped working just to be home. With my girls, so that also slowed down what they actually just stopped working so so most of the legs legs you get by doing it new synthetic ways they're from companies who want me to do a review for them. So I'm blessed for that and I'm sorry that they help me to take what up with my way, addiction, which is nice and I'm very thankful, I'm thankful for those people for those those companies that are looking at so Alexis Alexis. Stop. So electric just told me, with 15 minutes, has passed so we're going to act right now, washed her out, I'm going to squeeze the water out and looking through the door guys all that was in my place, that's dirt everything that he was laying it was in. My wig and we got it out, so what we're going to do is in front of ego, if you don't have another bucket you're, either gon na dump this water out and get in put some more a little warm water in it. No shampoo and just let it rent, styling you're gon na squish it around it all out, so I'm gon na go ahead and do that, give it in the bucket we're going to come back when it's ready to take it out of that bucket and ever going To go to the next step, okay guys, so I just removed it from the water and the water is more clear and I'm just gon na drag her off. These wigs do not hold moisture long at all. This is gon na, be so quick and so simple. I'M gon na dunk, this water out clean out the table and everyone coming back and we're gon na blow. Dryer. Yes I'll, go ahead and grab your blow dryer, so we can go ahead and finish this process up. Okay, so the next step is to blow-dry. She will be dripping a lot like, I said, the synthetic hair doesn't hold water very well at all, but I'm gon na go ahead and use a blow dryer with a comb attachment and drive. I just wanted to say also that might might not. I want to say, but are we making a point that my really can't stand is broken, but I have the little dryer on high with Hot Hot Heat. She is completely dry, even at the roots. This thing has moved all over the place during this whole thing. Go kart she's doing a little static. You know playing from this little jar, I'm brushing or two so that what appears that she was a dryer sheet or I just used the wick like synthetic wood spray, but look how smooth she is. She still has her yaki texture, so the blow drying does not take away from the architecture sure, so you know a way to have a Yankee texture, and you want to keep that the bullet drying does not take away from that with the flat iron does. That is a Vil bonus to this domestic. So I think what I'm going to do is apply her and when I get all dolled up and apply her, so I can take a picture for Instagram hi grandmommy's, okay, I'm back. That was a think. It was a long process. Do you think it was a long process? I think it's fairly easy, it's something that can be done, that's something that could be done on the weekend. Just like you wash your hair, you know. So I think that that was a very easy process. I usually do like two or three a day. If I have that many to do um homies Ashley when I come on here, but I always do that mini when I'm go ahead and wash my wigs, I don't wash them right away once I wear them cooking nine times out of ten, I won't be wearing It again, like I, wore this wig, maybe a couple of months ago way longer than actually this before it started getting really cold outside. So I've had this wick for a very long time and you'll see the I post above I'll post the arm. The original review for this week and yes, I'm not gon na get into like the whole aspects of the way because you'll see it and I promise I'll post it. To just remind me, if I forget, but yeah she's, very soft she's, very flowy again, you know none of the make the nape of the wig isn't nappy anymore. I cover my fingers to it. She'S saw that even think she's a little bit softer than when I first purchased her. I swear. I am well when I first purchased her. I did say she was soft, but I really think she's even more soft.
