I always wondered what I looked like bald! So I decided to do a tutorial on how to apply a bald cap for those with long thick hair!

It's probably not the best method but it works!

I didn't apply foundation to my whole head just because I didn't really need to but you're very welcome to.

Hello and welcome to another tutorial by me Tina on how to apply a bald cap. These are things, get a need. You'Re going to need your bald cap. You need special effects, wax which I got from eBay, you're, going to need a makeup brush and your favorite foundation, the pair of scissors, and I also use a white eyeliner, grab a comb with some hairspray and just comb your hair backwards. You want to spray this as well, just so it has some extra hold. I swear I'll literally use about a million bobby pins. You need to pin your hair right off of your face and as tight as possible as well. You need to make sure there's no hair around your face whatsoever once that's done, you're going to need to pin the sides of the nape of your neck, so your hair is not touching the neck at all. Now repeat this: on the other side as well: here's the tricky part you need to pin all of your hair from the back in two separate places, putting up from the nape of your neck, try to make sure that it's not all bunched together. Otherwise, it's going to look a bit strange from the back now you need to pin those stray hairs to your head again, try and make sure they're all in different tool places do a once-over with the hairspray in just to make sure all those little hairs and Stock to your head now, this is very looks a little bit silly. You need to pull the bald cap with your foreheads and then pull the bald cap backwards down to the nape of your neck. Now adjust this accordingly tuck any stray hairs up into the bald cap, now you're going to want to cut little slits for the ears. This is going to be a little bit tricky, so you might want someone to come and help you for this bit with a white eyeliner pencil, I've just drawn in whereabouts. My ears are roughly you want to make it just that little bit smaller. You want to cut straight down, so you have that little sideburn bit. If that makes sense, I'm not really too sure cut straight down whereabouts. I'Ve put the dotted line Turner. This is where you want to take your special-effects wax. This serves as a kind of adhesive. I used to make up brush to apply this, as it is a little bit hard in the pot. You want to apply this on the skin, underneath the bald cap and then press it down with a makeup brush now take your foundation, that's the same color as your skin and apply it to the bald cap. Quite thickly. You also want to blend this into the skin as well, so it looks a little bit more realistic now use your powder as you would do normally and that's it you're finished. Sparky Marie: I’m terrified to see how this goes for me, my hair is really, *really* thick. But I’m sure with the right amount of trial and error I can get it. Thank you for making this awesome tutorial!

J2MTR: I don't have long hair at all, but found this bald cap tutorial the best for me. I'm planning to mimic El Diablo from Suicide Squad and all I have is the bald cap, spirit gum, spirit gum remover, and make up. Great video and thanks for sharing (nice background music as well ). Peace from Southern Cali.

Patrick Barnes: Thank you for a fine tutorial. :)

E. Chung: This looks easier to do than most tutorials! Can you use any brand of wax as long as it says 'special effects wax'? Was looking into the Mehron brand.

psychedseer: Is it okay to have my hair wet in order to make it flat?

Casey Martin: Awesome. Getting ready to apply a white bald cap for halloween as a clown. I have very curly and long brown hair. Should be fun haha. I think I might have to just get some bobby pins and hair spray. I'm using spirit gum and a sealer so I can apply white makeup over the top. I was recommended by a costume shop about it. Doing a nose too. I am hoping for the best haha.

Hack Girl: Thanks for the great tutorial ^>^

Sky Bradley: About how long did this take?

Callum Macleod: This should definitely help my Aang cosplay.
