How To Hide Long Hair Under Wigs // Wig Cap Tutorial

Hiding long hair under a wig isn't as difficult as you'd think! Just sharing my method.

Hey guys, so I got this ask in my ask box about how to put on wigs when you have really thick hair um and I figured it would be a lot easier to show you guys in a video than to tell you so I get. The question was, I have super thick hair that is almost to my waist and I can't figure out how to put it up and into my wig cap. So my legs will go on my head without looking lumpy. Can you help me thanks smiley face, so what you're going to need is your wig um and I figured I just go with a short wig, because it's going to be easier to like put on video you're going to need one or two weight caps and doesn't Matter what kind um right now I have one of those uh open-ended ones and then here's another one, that's not open at it! It'S just a cap. So what you're going to want to do? The way that I do it because I have like super thick hair like super long thick hair, you can see that there could be something shoes putting it in a smaller wig. But what I like to do right now, it's kind of messy, but I will just take my hair and I'll kind of put it up towards the middle of fish right here and twist, like so and then kind of keep it somewhat loose but make sure you're Able to put it all together and like a kind of bun, so you can see that it lays a little bit flash and then we're going to do is take your blade cap, you're gon na put it over and with these ones. I like to. Pin them closed, I know some people don't do that, but I like to do it um after you're done with that you're going to want to put the recap up to your hairline. Just make sure you have all the hair in there and then you're going to want to kind of loosen up the hair inside of it so that it falls kind of as flat as possible against your head and just kind of play around with that. So that plays pretty flat ish and if you feel like it's not laying flat enough, because I'm fine with like I'm, usually able to get a wig on with just one. But if you feel like you're, not getting it flat enough get a second one. And it should help keep everything down in in the cap and it probably will flatten it out at least a little tiny bit but, like I said, usually I'm going to like one and these are not really used to. And then, after that, you just put your weight on well and then just bobby, pin in place and that's how I get my wigs on and I get my hair all my long hair in a tiny short wig. This is it's all getting my eyes, but yeah. That'S basically it it's not like lumpy or anything, and it even works. Well with my Lola bunny wig, which is like it gets, you can get really lumpy but I'll just say right. So that's what I like to do.
