Receiving her master's degree in Applied Psychology, barreling Coleman's, once everybody welcome back to the curler, been shown, hey yall already know what today's video is is how to wear your graduation cap with your natural hair. So graduation is like within the next really week or two for everybody, and now you don't have to wear your hair strained anymore. You don't have to again brazier cuz. Now we got ta techniques to wear yeah. Your twist outs brain house watching us all that Kim Possible with the graduation cap. So I did these techniques, I'm gon na, be showing you two simple techniques like you can literally do it on graduation day because they take like a bit like that to do and um. I did this for undergrad back in 2017 and I did it for my graduation picture this year and I'm gon na do it for my ceremony boom they're gon na my pictures right here it works. You know I really want to try this cuz. I want to see the furrows prospering on graduation day, so let's go ahead and get started alright. So for the first technique we are going to be using Clips just like this. So I know some people like um bobby pins, just bobby, pin it bobby pins. To me, they just slip through the cat they're not like. They don't have that they're real. With these clips, you can literally get it clipping it to your hair and the cap. It works hundred times better. You can swing your hair like around and around, and your cat will still be home, yo hey because you got the clips. So the way this is gon na go is you're going to get your cat. Let'S fold it out and you're simply just going to fold boom, just like that fold it down and kind of flatten it out as best as you can. You can use tape on it if you want to keep it down, but tape is not absolutely necessary because this part is going to stay down because it's on top of your head. So what are you gon na do? Next is you're going to get your pair of scissors nice whatever it is, you want to do and you're gon na create. You see. I have these this hole right here. You'Re gon na create two holes on each side, using that the scissors or whatever it is, so you just kind of get the scissors and just go through like this and boom. You don't want to try and go through too much material, but kind of just like one layer right here and you go through it and then on this other side, get right now make sure that the holes aren't big enough to where the clip can go through. Well, at least one half of the clip can go through so boom and then we can fold it down like that. You should see two really large holes in there, so what you're gon na do is take a clip right here. I just got this like little silver Clips. Then you know you, you can get them from a beauty supply whatever not expensive. So what you're gon na do is you're going to take this clip you're gon na put it through this hole and how you're gon na do that is you want to only put half of the clip through the hole because we don't want to fit the whole Thing because it is just gon na slip out eventually, so, let's see, if y'all can see that put it through just like this on each side, all right. So this is the tricky part. So I'm gon na try my best to show y'all the best way. I can just kind of hard so basically how you're gon na put this on your head is you want the part that usually will be in the back in the front? Basically - and you want your Clips facing downwards into the hole so that way, they won't come out like that. So basically, what you're gon na do is you're gon na get your cap like this and you're gon na hold the clips open. Just like that, and try your best to like get this, the cap part is far down into the clip as you can so that way, you can hold it a little bit better, it's kind of hard to hold it and show you so boom. We have it open like this - is not gon na, be open a bunch because it's in a cab, but at Oakland my hands, look super big but anyway. So what you're gon na do is you're gon na? Have it open just like that and you're gon na find where you wanted to sit on your hand, I'm doing the middle and you're gon na get that clip and you're just gon na. Stick it right into your head just like that kind of mess with it. A little bit now see your hand on just in your hand like that I'm gon na look crooked a little bit instead of messing ahead that simple, but these clips boom, just like there you go. This is super. Last video, my gosh look at my cab. What else boom right here just like that technique? Number one all right, so the second technique takes a little bit more work, but is definitely worth it because this is a headband technique. I think this is more of a popular one that everybody has been using, but super simple. So what I'm gon na do is I'm going to take these two headbands and I'm gon na tape them together. I like personally using the thinner headbands. They hide easier in your hair. They smush your hair less, since it is kind of going like straight in the middle of your hair. So that way it won't switch the size of your hair when it's on, so these thin ones they kind of just slide. In a little better, so I like to get the thin ones and just get some tape and tape it together all right, so next we're basically gon na, take the headband and we're going to glue it on to this. So what I'm going to use is this super fabric adhesive, because I am using some fabric, but you can always use guerrilla glue. Super glue, don't use like Elmer's boomer, because it's not going to stick honestly. That'S for arts and crafts, and this kind of is arts and crafts, but the series armor. So basically, what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na take the glue put it on the handbag and I'm gon na sit it on there and you are gon na hold it down for a couple of minutes, I'll say at least five minutes for it to Stick and then I like to put like a tape, a piece of tape or two over it. Just for that good, so I'll camera I went and I edit some tape on top of it for double protection. We don't want the cap to fall. Oh so got double protection on top of the glue, so that way that can uh. This is really really stable, but also be careful with because it is a flimsy headband is the dollar. So you know it's not amazing, but at the tape owner I got ta show you all in this terrible ankle so find where so, basically take it find it where you want to place it in someone. Do right here open this up and sit it right in there. So then, what you have to do is kind of go and play with your hair a little bit so that way, and I like to sit it back in the back of my head just a little bit. So I get like a little tilt action going on in there boom just kind of flip, your hair out a little bit because you know place your stuff on top. Your head isn't amazing at times and then just kind of like get those little prongs and get them to sit in your head here. Take a look messing around with, but then boom right there. Alright. So let me show you how the back of my hand real quick. So as you can see, you can't see the head anywhere. It'S like literally covered up by my hair and I kind of moved it around kind of fluff it up a little bit in the back. So you can't see that hair be now you ready to graduate hey you're gon na graduate, which is natural, hair conehead. It was a straightener, we don't know all right Joseph. This is the end of this video. I just want to say congrats to every single person out there.
