#dabur #AmlaOil #Gooseberry #Amla

Hi everyone welcome back to my channel, so for today's video. I am actually going to be talking to you guys about my love for alma oil. For those of you guys that don't know alma oil actually comes from the indian gooseberry tree, and it is a fruit that looks like this. I don't know if you can see it is high in vitamin c high in vitamin a minerals antioxidants. It is just such a super fruit um. It is pretty amazing, and there is a lot of clinical studies that i'm going to go over and then above all, there's so many generations and generations of desis and indians that use this for hair growth and hair health and as a child. I was told non-stop to use alma oil in my hair and honestly as a little as a child. I had really long black thick long hair, but then, as i got older in high school, i cut my hair. I started dyeing my hair bleaching, my hair, and i just i stayed away from almo oil. I just thought that it was very old school and that's something that worked for. My parents, like i'm just going to use like hair, masks that i can buy at like sally's or target honestly. That was it's my biggest regret ever like stopping using this, and i i've seen such a dramatic difference in my hair. When i started using this a lot more, i definitely got into hair oils a lot more during quarantine. You know we're finally home and we're able to i'm able to hair oil. My hair, like every other day, if i want to, i actually do - have almo oil in my hair right now, but yeah. This stuff is amazing, and then i did some research clinical research, because i was like okay, my family's telling me that this is going to make my hair darker longer stronger, healthier shinier. But where is the clinical like research? I need to. I need that so there's actually one clinical research study that blew my mind and it put alma oil up against rogaine's minoxidil. So minoxidil is the topical drug that actually helps with hair growth and hair loss, and it is what makes rogaine effective and it put it up against almo oil, and i was in shock all my oil was even more effective if not equal or more effective. In hair growth - and it made the hair a lot more shinier and healthier, and i thought that was insane, so i i just again, i just i'm so bummed out that i didn't use this all my life that i stopped using it as i got older, because I was stubborn, so i'm actually going to show you guys how i use this, because i actually love mixing this with coconut oil and i'm going to show you how i do that in a second. But i wanted to list some of the health benefits that alma oil provides to your hair, one of them being. It strengthens the scalp of your hair. It reduces premature pigment loss from hair, so it helps with graying. It also stimulates. Hair growth reduces hair loss, prevents and treats dandruff and dry scalp, and especially with the winter coming. I don't know about you guys, but i i love doing hair oils in the winter, because i find that my scalp is a little bit more drier than usual. So just another tip there and then it helps for prevent and treat parasitic hair and scalp infections like lice infections, and it also helps prevent and treat fungal and bacterial hair and scalp infections. But overall it helps improve your hair um and the look of your hair. As well, because, honestly, this stuff - i have it in my hair right now, but when i wash it off and blow dry, my hair, it is it's game over, like my hair, is so beautiful, you'll see in a second, i promise, okay! So now i'm going to show you guys how i use it, but before i do i do have a major tip. If you do have blonde or very light hair, i would recommend doing a patch test, because this stuff is super pigmented and it is a green pigment. Color like this i'll show you guys just like that. It is super pigmented and i i personally really love the dubar almond oil uh. It'S just it's a staple. It'S all. I'Ve ever known, i'm sure, there's other organic brands. That will be just as effective, but i personally love this one and i'll link it down below. But yeah, so i love to massage this in my scalp, like in just circular motions and just make sure i get it all in my scalp and then also just by massaging your scalp. You are also increasing like blood circulation and helping with hair growth, and then i love to mix a little bit of this. Well, i like to place this again on my ends and again my hair right now is drenched in almo oil, because i already did this. The night before, but i just love doing that and just massaging it all over and what i've been recently doing is i actually put some coconut oil in the ends of my hair. I actually just use this one from trader joe's. I love this one and it is the organic triple filtered. You can use the regular one, but i personally like this one, and i just get it like this in physical form like and then i just melt it in my hand this is so this is so much fun and then i kind of just put it in The ends and like just like the mid section of my hair to the ends. I absolutely love doing this and i find that it just like it works really well, together, um. There is also a lot of the times where i just use almond oil and i don't use it with coconut oil, but i personally love mixing oils together. So this is just what i love to do and yeah, and i just put my hair in a bun like this, but yeah that is pretty much it and i leave it in my hair for at least an hour or 30 minutes before i'm going to wash My hair, you can read a book, you can watch tv, you can even work out because, as you're working out you're going to heat up your body so it'll you know condition your hair even more, because your body temperature will heat up um. So those are some of my favorite things to do while waiting with my hair mask on. But personally i absolutely, if you can, i would recommend leaving this on your hair overnight, but if you do have the time i highly highly recommend leaving this on overnight. It just does a world of a difference for me and obviously, when you do a hair oil mask like this, you don't want to sleep on your silk pillowcases. I personally just use a cotton pillow case and then just throw that pillowcase in the wash the next day. It will sometimes have like a hue of green to that pillowcase. So just make sure you're using a pillowcase that you don't care about um and if you don't want to do that, that method and using like a pillowcase, you can actually just wrap your hair in either like a a scarf or a those hair. Bonnets that you can buy, and that will also be you know even helpful, because it'll lock in the moisture, even more uh but yeah. Those are pretty much how i use it and how i love to use this hair mask and i'm gon na go ahead and hop into the shower and wash my hair um. I will probably blow dry my hair and show you guys how it looks right after um, but yeah. Thank you guys so much for watching this video. If you guys found this video helpful in any way of course, give me a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel so that you can see more videos i will be. I have so many different hair oil videos that i want to post. I just i never find the time, but i definitely want to show you guys some more of my tips and tricks um, but thank you guys so much for watching this. Video have a good rest of your day. Take care all right guys, so i just wanted to quickly hop on here and show you guys how my hair looks um. I just dried it quickly with my dyson air, wrap and yeah. That'S pretty much how my hair looks right after i'm literally about to hop into bed um, but i just wanted to quickly show you guys, but obviously my hair looks really, as you can see, it's like really healthy and shiny um. I literally can't stop running my fingers through my ends because it just it feels so soft and my hair just feels so hydrated. It feels like i just got a haircut, but i didn't like it just so so soft and yeah. So i really encourage you guys to try this oil. You can definitely try with the coconut oil if you would like, but i highly recommend trying the alma oil but yeah. Thank you guys so much for watching this video and have a good rest of your day. Take care

Aneesa Essa: You GUYSSSSS this stuff WORKS!!!! I just love how soft & healthy it keeps my hair! This is great to use anytime especially after coloring your hair. I have seen such a big difference in how healthy it makes my hair each time I use it! I have less tangles & split ends now. I usually braid it afterwards and sleep with this product in my hair. When I wakeup my hair looks beautiful almost like beach waves. I have lighter hair & it hasn’t changed my hair color so don’t worry

veronica hernandez: I love this oil. I actually apply it on my scalp after I shower ( very little of course) and on tips . Actually use that instead of other products I used to put in my hair like mouse and gel and it works great and smells good too! Have noticed my hair longer. Recently for my daughter to use it as well and she loves it!

Event Planner: If you want better results I recommend getting extra virgin cold pressed alma oil. It has a higher concentration of alma than this brand. Also it has a neutral scent. This oil has fragrance in it which makes it smell like old lady perfume.

phant0m0th_94: This happened to me. I had thick long hair as a kid and slowly it started falling out. No one in my family used hair oils (Filipino or white side) until I saw this tiktok and there was so much hype on this. I have literally tried every hair oil I could get my hands on for the last 5 to 6 years. I’ve also had “dry scalp” and damaged hair since I was 16 and no shampoo has ever fixed it...only tea tree oils. I also want to ask how to shampoo out the ends the next day if I’m not supposed to shampoo the entire hair shaft...idk how else to do it

Gotcha: It works and it makes your hair shiny and softens it. For years, because of hormones or living by the beach, my hair became frizzy and had the texture of a bristle brush. I drench my hair and leave the Amla oil overnight while I mix camellia oil with it because that particular Amla oil uses mineral oil snd canola oil as a carrier. It’s a product that really works! But beware, the smell is overpowering and smells of cheap perfume.

Neo: I love this oil! I find the smell super comforting, it makes my hair so shiny and healthy I use it as a hair mask before I wash my hair and also a little bit after my hair is freshly washed, my hair has never been healthier!

Paola Avila: she starts showing us how she applies it at 4:19 :)

The Burns Family: I too love Amla! I actually make my own hair growth oil by infusing Amla powder with an oil for at least three months. I do scalp massages with it and it definitely works wonders!

Gwyneth Talabo: Ive been using this product for a year now and i swear to heavens, it works so good. My hair feels so healthier than before.

Joyce Afonso: Totally off topic but you’re amazing for replying to all those comments! Seriously so helpful

Indo-Asian Grocery Store: I am quite thankful for presenting such a wonderfully informative video about the relationship between Amla oil and good hair health.

Ana S.: Thank you for such a detailed review! Already did the treatment for the whole night yesterday. I have amla oil and black seed oil. Can please someone say is it okay to mix them and put on my hair for the whole night or is it better to use them separately?

River Vlogs: I haven't used Amla for a while, but I bought it 3 days ago & I'm gonna start using it again.I know it has amazing benefits☺️

Eshal Jawad: My mom applied this oil in her childhood her hair are soo long shiny black and strong beleive me it works

Ashley E.: I've been using this oil for many years and I honestly haven't seen a huge difference in my 4c hair. Then I found out that it's mostly made out of canola oil... It's one of the first ingredients on the list.

Melissa: I’m sorry if I missed this information in the video, but how many times a week do you use the amla oil? ☺️

Ori: I remember using amla as a child and for the first time I felt that my soft, curly hair looked beautiful and shiny...... then I went to school all confident and my teacher said I have to promise I will never wear this product to school again because I stink... in front of the whole class! That was like 16 years ago but I still cant forget that amla oil because of this

Princess Sousou: Thank you for the info ❤️ I had this oil but never knew how to use it by the way your hair is gorgeous

ItsnotDeliveryitsGiorno: My hair is suffering so much from postpartum hair fall. I have tried just about everything, I would love to give this a try. Thank you for posting!

Asiman sah: You should warm the Amla oil first. After this we can apply it to our hair. Just I say don't mix it other oil. After Applying Amla all parts of our hair wait for 2 hours then wash it. Do this 2 times in a week

Aarti Thakor: I’ve started using Alma oil today for the first time, it has amazing smell! I’m always losing lots of hair and can’t wait to use these more often in the future

MrOnlyforcommenting: my greatest introduction to indian hair oil , i think this alma was when i went to indian barber to get a head massage after getting a haircut. he started putting this oil and rubbed and massage my head . you wouldnt guess how relaxing and calm it was , not just the smell but the massage too. since then , i got so addicted to indian head massage and very excited to let him apply the oil on my head. p.s im a chinese male and i enjoy the smell cause its so calming although it's strong. now i brought this and apply it for myself.

S H: Thank you for this great video. After I came across your video about a month ago I bought Amla oil and have been using it twice a week. I leave it overnight and wash next morning. I do feel that my shoulder length very fine hair feel softer. I also have a receding hairline. This could be hereditary I think. But due to stress, and Covid19 for last 2 years my hair became grey all over. Previously grey was only on each side and not so bad. Will Amla oil bring back my black hair? And how long will I have to use Amla oil to make my hair thicker? I also try to massage my scalp with a massage brush.

jmbharat: Just picked up my bottle! Cant wait to try it(very soon), will be commenting my hair changes over the time I use it!

anna Juste: So so excited to try this! I have been loosing some hair in the front so I have super high hopes. Thank you for all the helpful tips !!! :)

Bebesita Latina: Can these be found at the store rather than online?

Niecy ♥: Just ordered mine today !

Hamza Tahir: So if i wanna leave it overnight. Is it okay if my hair is wet? Or should i dry it completely? Edit Sorry for so many questions. Is it okay to apply everyday?

S H: I have Lavender, peppermint, tea tree and a few other small bottles of essential oils. Which essential one should I mix with Amla oil. And also please tell me what ratio and how often do I mix them. I use Amla oil twice a week and leave it overnight. I find the Amla oil smell unpleasant and lately I just do the roots. It that good for hair growth. I love your channel and thank you so much in advance for all suggestions.

Mariam Taha: after you add the oil to your hair do you wash it off with plain water and dry it or do you shampoo after?(and if no when do you shampoo your hair)

hari shabad kaur: Works well for thickening brows too!

Madelaine Marie Malca Zarak: Hi! the one you linked has different packaging (image) to the one you filmed with. Are they the same?

Con: Could amla oil be used with the inversion method??

BIGG ON NATURAL BEAUTY: Love this video very informative..always best to stick to what you know old remedies are the best ❤️

SimCare: Oh my goodness. I am so glad I came across this video because I was looking for oils and hair tips. I also stopped using this oil and even though I never dyed my hair. It just started to thin, break, get dry and sometimes causes bad itchiness and dandruff. So i was soo shocked when you said its meant to help with all of these. Thank you lovely and your hair looks beautiful!!

Yasmin x: When i was younger and visiting my grandma she used to put this oil in my hair and my hair grew alot, sadly i forgot about this oil years after and my hair is damaged and short . hopefully my hair will grow again when i use this oil

Ok: The power of Indian oils ahaha. Indians have such beautiful hair.

Eze the God of Darkness: Do you apply it daily or is there a specific amount of days you need to apply it?

Lisa A: omg so glad I found this video I just cut my hair due to heat damage and my bottle just came , how often do you use Amla?

Niles: Is there a difference between the dabur amla oil and the Al-Riyan amla oil?

Tiana Bravo: I just got my bottle in the mail!! I’ll come back to this comment to update every week on the results Week 1:hair is definitely shinier and feels fuller Week 2: sorry y’all I’ve been slacking on the update but I’ve been mixing the alma oil with coconut oil, castor oil, and a egg yolk and leaving it in my hair for an hour twice and week and MY HAIR IS LONGER! Even my boyfriend noticed and I’ve been trying forever to grow my hair and this definitely stimulated my hair to grow fast so happy so far Week 3: only used it once this week so not much growth different BUT it’s extra shiny and getting healthier even though I’m flat ironing my hair more often Month 3: I totally gave up on this and started using rice water on my hair and it grew so fast that it’s now past my tiddies❤️ do what u want with this info hehe

It’s Rayning Out: Thank you so much for this!! I'm so excited to use it

Makyela Banton: I just ordered some of this Amal oil I have like 4b-4c hair..my question is can you leave Amla oil in your hair for more the a week or even 2 and so and just keep moisturizing using the Amal oil and keep your hair in a protective style ?

Veronica S: It consists of some minerals which is really bad for our hair... And that's the reason it makes our hair soft and shiny

Mira Enchia: I didn't know what I was missing out on seriously, I used to put just cold-pressed castor oil on my scalp and it was so heavy. Amla oil isn't like that at all, the smoothness and silkiness that it gives my hair after I wash it off even with shampoo beats keratin and conditioner. It's crazy, I'm starting to sound like an endorser here. Just the smell, my family cannot take it and it covers my whole house. They say it smells like cat pee, is there any way to diminish the smell with anything cheap? I know there's better amla oil than this brand but I just purchased a new one...

Spirlea Souza: Hi Ami, I’ve just turned 24 and have suddenly started getting a lot of grey hair especially at the top of my head which stands out on black hair. Is there a version of pure amla oil as I’m worried the one you use has some bad chemicals and ingredients mixed with it. Thank you

R: can i leave amla oil in my hair for 3-4 days before rinsing?

onewism: also what are some good conditioners and shampoos that can work well with the oil? is there a specific brand that meshes well with it?

ivey XOXO: I have a Indian store literally around the corner from me and bought 2 huge bottles of it for like $10

molly curren: have you personally seen any growth with it?

xmerybx: Does this also work very well for curls?

Tennessee Minnissi: I just purchased some from a Halal market. Got me a cute tea set also. lol. Thanks for the video.

Dez Marshall: I just bought the Amla oil infused with coconut and almond oil that’s good too right? It was more expensive than the Amla oil only

Arielle Barnum: But do you apply it on dry or wet hair ?

Tracy: I bought one today and I can’t wait to use it!

Muave Rose: just got my bottle today, I’m exited thanks for this video!

pringles: I purchased this recently and will start using it soon

Its Daewa: Hi, I just washed my hair after using this oiltreatment and my hair still doesn't smell good. How do you get rid of the smell?

Error Complex: Does it smell like Amla or is it scented with another smell?

Vanessa CM: Thanks for this Video. ✨Is this oil also for the scalp?

jdancer713: Yay so excited just ordered some :)

peepla7: I read the ingredients on amazon...it has amla infused in canola and then that's in a base of mineral oil. So I'm just gonna take amla powder which I already have and mix it with canola oil and infuse it.

*coco c*: Have you tried the gold version ?❤️

Hey Jane: Just ordered! I'll keep posted, so excited. I'm going to use it with castor oil

Kelly Luu: Can I mix this with rosemary oil?

Shalini Kumar: Which shampoo do you use and do you shampoo twice to get oiliness out? Thank you!

Purpleisanicecolour: Do you apply the oil on dry hair or wet hair?

Tolovly !: I have used it in the past with henna and Amla powder and it worked well. It made my hair stronger. I have these ingredients in my closet I need to used it again.

Nyasia Beaufort: So can I use this, mustard oil and coconut oil af the same time?

jdancer713: how much alma oil do you use at a time? do you coat all of your hair with the alma oil or just the roots/ends?

Jess Rodriguez: Rogane is effective BUT once you stop all the growth will fall out( at least from what I have heard of people cautioning rogane use for hairloss)

Madison Avery: IM SO THANKFUL I WATCHED YOUR VIDEO BECAUSE I JUST PUT SO MUCH OF THIS IN MY HAIR AND GOT SO NERVOUS BECAUSE I THOUGHT YOU HAD TO WASH IT OUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER A HOUR and that helped so much that you said you highly recommend to sleep on it

Dainery Zapot: Can I use this on my brows and eyelashes?

Oh Keh: What do I look for in coconut oil for my hair

Sara Abdelmageed: Thanks . Do you wash the hair with shampoo or just water after oil??.

Malaika Hanif: Does it really help with hair growth? Like that’s what I’m looking for the most!! My hair is already naturally thick and I’ve always had long hair until last night when I specifically told my mum just a trim and she cut half of it off!!! Don’t feel like myself at all!! Also does it help with frizz? I would love to tone that down as well lol Xx

Harriet Breedlove: I got my order in but can I use this 500ml 3 times a week with Coconut oil out shampooing it?

Marilyn Rodrigues: Can i mix both the oils together and use? Instead of using coconut oil only at the bottom?

Stephanie S: i grew up on amla but now it does nothing for me. due to stress my hair started shedding like crazy, i use kerotin growth drops from the company kerotin and that stopped my hair from shedding along with their thickening spray check them out. Amla is good for hair bur dabur uses mineral oil in their amla which is not good.

Deseane Thompson: I ordered mines last week and it just came☺️I really hope it’s works...wish me luck

Mandy Barron: I'm just getting ready to start this oil. I think It's pronounced like Ahm lah. Glad there is good results. I'm losing my hair after Covid.

Keenasworld: Your hair is beautiful! I'm going to order me some. Does it help keep your hair dark as well?

Jordan Musleh: When you the oil do you have to shower with it or you have to use the oil last when you sleep..??

Adjil Karima: Hey anyone reading this , my hair is very damaged and really thin it has never grown past shoulder length (yes that bad) and i also bleached it and i have extensions do you think it will make my hair grow thicker? Im desperate

anisa ismael: When my hair is wet, it’s like 5 strands LOL. But when it dries it puffs out and is a lot. Would Amla oil help with that?

rafeia Mehboob: I use ambla oil over night I love using it I want to make my hair longer and thicker

Angelica Velazquez: I’ve been using mine for two weeks already and my hair is so soft and shiny not grease shiny and I love it I hope my hair grows though I had thick super black hair until I cut my hair and then I have iron deficiency so I lost a lot of hair and now my hair is thin so thin and I don’t like it I miss my thick hair

briana wright: Hi I have a question. I heard that Alma oil stinks. When you use it(or anyone else in the chat) what do you use to take the smell away?

Y T: Does this have mineral oil in it? If so, I read that mineral oil is not really healthy for the body.

Belladoll88: I have this brand. My only problems with it is there are too many additives. I prefer organic. Amla reminds me of olive oil. Yiu have beautiful teeth btw.

alayssa: do u leave it for a night and then wash it off in the morning? and how often do u do this?

Steven Pop: I thought I was the only one in the world mixing Amla and Coconut oil ….FIRE combo!

Valrie Coles: Can you please do a review on Parachute advanced Ayurvedic coconut hair oil. All the videos I have seen is not in English. I want to buy is for hair growth and thickness but not sure. Thanks

Kierra Marie: Do you get your hair wet before applying the oil?

Mariam: what do you recommend staying with it for 30 minutes or one hour?

Oh Keh: Can you leave this in for days? Then wash?

Shonte Smith: Do you have to wash it out every time you use this oil?

Fatoumata Barry: Can we use amla oil everyday and as a leave in?

Darlene Powell : Can you use it on kids hair?

Anela Perez: Have you tried Amla oil on eyebrows or eyelashes?
