So today i'm going to be trying some amla oil on my hair and reviewing the daba amla hair oil. I'Ve been seeing a lot of videos and tuk-tuk posts lately, as well as reading a lot of really great reviews on the benefits of this oil and also it's very cheap and affordable. So i thought it'd be fun to try it out myself and film it for you at the same time. So now, when it comes to hair oils, i know that some might argue that there are plenty of amazing hair products out there in the market. But it is also important to remember that some individuals cannot always afford these products and then there are some individuals who prefer using natural beauty products, so it basically all comes down to your individual, personal preference. So you do you and this review is for you. If you are curious about alma oil on hair and if you do decide to try this make sure you aren't allergic or anything like that before you try it okay. So what is amla amla is basically a fruit. It is the indian gooseberry fruit. So i basically remember my grandparents well just my grandma now but um. They basically have this amla plant in their garden. We would basically eat this as a snack and it was really sour to taste but full of antioxidants and vitamins. So we'd eat this. With a pinch of salt and chili powder is really good. The kind of amla oil i'm using today is the daba. Amla oil packaging looks like this and it states here that it is manufactured in dubai and the ingredients are also listed at the bottom of the package. I basically purchased this oil at the indian grocery store here in australia. So if you are looking to purchase it, i'm sure you'll be able to find it at any gross indian grocery store or you could order it from amazon or just anywhere online. Basically, i'm pretty sure i only paid like up four to five dollars for this. I have personally never tried amla oil. I have previously used coconut oil, especially during my time living in india. I use it religiously on a regular basis and i've also tried olive oil, castor oil, sweet almond oil and a lot of other oils, but never amla oil. So, anyway, when it comes to benefits of using amla oil, i found so many claims. Apparently, it's meant to reduce hair loss, treat dandruff and dry scalp treat and prevent bacterial and fungal hair and scalp infections, as well as promote hair growth, improve dry and damaged hair, promote thick and healthy hair, strengthen your hair, as well as to darken the your hair Color or hair pigment in a gradual manner over a period of time, so basically they state that your hair will slowly get darker and grow longer, each time that you use it over time and then it is also apparently high in vitamin c vitamin a minerals and Antioxidants so yeah there's a lot of claims about this oil, so i'm obviously excited to try it as a hair mask and see if it produces those long-term results. I also want my hair looking nice. So, let's see if that makes my hair look, shinier softer and silkier in the short term as well, but for now let's get into the application process. Also, please excuse my terribly overgrown roots. My hair color is growing out, but i wanted to give my hair a break from bleaching and dyeing my hair, so i'm just letting it grow out for now. So from all the videos i've seen on amla oil, they do suggest using amla oil with coconut oil or any other carrier oil in order to dilute the strength of the amla oil and because it does have a really strong perfume scent to it. But you can also use it on its own if you prefer to do that, it does have a green color to it as well and is in liquid form, which is good for application. I would start by brushing and detangling my hair, then sectioning my hair into five sections or layers, as i always do, and then start the application on the first layer. That'S closest to your neck area by massaging it onto your scalp in circular motions and rubbing motions and then apply it along the lengths of my hair from the roots all the way to the tips of your hair, oh yeah, that perfume is definitely strong. I would probably personally prefer it if the smell was not as intense it's too strong for me, because they do have added perfume to it personally, so so that would be the only con or the only thing i don't like as much about it, but i guess Some people could like it and then just repeat this process through the other four sections of your hair. So once you've applied the amla oil, you can move on to the coconut oil, which is my favorite, just any virgin coconut oil from the grocery store. And if you do live in a colder country, it can sometimes come frozen, so you will have to melt it on the palm of your hands by rubbing your hands together and then applying. I love the process of oiling my hair and scalp. I love how it makes my scalp feel nice and cool. So after that i finished with the application, i will leave it on for one hour. You are meant to leave it in for at least 20 to 30 minutes before washing it off, and you could even leave it overnight if you wish wrap your head in a scarf or shower cap to ensure that the color is not running all over. Your pillow covers or bed sheet and wash it off in the morning. If you prefer to do that once the oil was in my hair for an hour, i did wash it off in the shower and please make sure to shampoo your hair twice. Yes, that's twice in order to make sure that you are getting all that oil out of your hair and scalp so lather nicely. And then you can condition your hair as normal with your regular conditioner, but make sure you are applying less conditioner than usual and only use it along the lengths of your hair rather than on the scalp area. I would avoid applying conditioner close to your scalp, as that could make your hair greasy, especially with all of that amla oil that you have on this is what my hair looks like now after i've washed blow dried and straightened my hair, it's definitely feeling a lot Softer silkier and smoother looks a lot more shiny and did it retain this strong perfume smell? No, it just smells neutral. Actually, it kind of smells like the my shampoo and conditioner that i basically used. However, because i live in a smaller apartment, it did the smell kind of lingered in the apartment until i add it out and stuff like that, but not on my hair. As far as the growth and the color is concerned, obviously we won't be able to see it within one use, but i will update you when and if i do see a difference, i will continue using it for a few more weeks and i will update you, But it has kind of toned, my hair, because it had a very strong green pigment to it and because i had bleach and dyed my hair. Previously it was kind of turning a little bit brassy and it was fading to like a warm toned, brown color and now it's a bit more ashy and like a more cool toned brown color. So in the package it does claim to darken your hair as well. So yeah, let me know if you liked this review and i might do another one on flaxseed oil if you are interested in that but yeah. That is all for this video. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you did enjoy it and if you did like it, please subscribe like and comment, and i will see you in my next video you

Saifullah. Q: Hello there. I have been using Amla oil since 2008. It has worked wonders for me. The scent is pleasing and it gave my hair a lot of thickness and shine. Before that, I had a lot of hairfall but after 2008 , it became better. Thank you very much for spreading good word about this oil.

Trendy Health: _There are_ *different oils* _that can help promote hair growth and thickness;_ _These include_ *castor oil, jojoba oil, and olive oil.*

Rashi Maikhuri: This particular oil has a strong perfume, amla fruit is good for overall health though including hair. Alternatively you can try powdered dried amla and make a hair pack.

Gabriel Hanssens: the smell is goregeous but it's way too strong almost as if it was trying to overpower the natural smell of the product (if you smell it long enough is starts to have a slight petrol-like smell in the background). I only sampooed once and a slight shadow of the scent was left on my hair, just enough to enjoy it without being overpowering which was a nice change from my normal hair products

Priya Nikhil: Dabur amla oil contains mineral oil and many other chemicals which is not good for hair. It would be better if you could make a mask or use amla powder infused oil

Pokemon legendary shorts official: Mam, can I leave this oil for 2 days on my hairs

Kinjal Sarang: Amla oil is never this dark green...as amla juice doesn't have any color...so its just added color into this dabar amla oil...

Syeda Fatima Sabtain: It contains mineral oil is it harmful to hairs

MOMENTS IN THE JOURNEY OF OUR LIFE: Nice did buy Amla Oil earlier but did not use it regularly. Will try it again now.

Gold Experience: This oil s more than half mineral oil but I have no qualms about that. Combined w scalp massage and small amount of coconut +rosemary oil , this stuff gives me bouncy and thicker hair , w the hairline filled out at the temple. I am 40 and without using this stuff twice a week (leaving on for a few hrs )my hair d not be naturally thick.

Marta Salvi: I’ve being using this oil since I was a child and I love it

Kris Jong-Un: I use coconut , castor, and amla oil

burhaan ali12: Dear sister i wanna to ask you something Can i use Amla oil in this time 05/july/2022? Can you tell Me produced date of amla oil? Can you tell me Expired date of amla oil? Plz answer to me.

Mimi Laoraiem: How often you put in your hair?

Diksha Upadhyay: Amla realy good for us this is miracle fruit gift of nature for us for hair you can use amla hair pack and shampoo really its work fast

Hatti Bailey: What if a person has thin soft baby hair can they use it on their hair.

Sindy Cardno: Very informative

Autumn 46: What is your hair colour here? It's gorgeous on you

Tuğçe: What is result for use a couple weeks? What is long your hair?

Emi: I use it but it's really strong. I don't use much only alittle will work. Are you really supposed to wash the oil out? I never do. I must of miss that part. Your hair is pretty

Asege Tracy: How about for me with little hair... When l try it out. . how long will it take.. And won't the oil affect my hair... Secondly... Must l first plait... Or l just apply and comb daily...

จิตเป็นนาย กายเป็นบ่าว: You're so beautiful

Keyeng Konyak: Baby..........are your body natural or doing exercise please reply me soon????

alex gofreed: Does Dabur Amla oil contain mostly mineral oil? Yes. Is mineral oil going to make you bald? No. Apply the oil and leave it in for 1 hr- shampoo it out and the hair will be fine and will benefit from the mineral oil. Yes. I said benefit. Mineral oil is one of the best sealants- so this is gonna seal and lock in a tone of moisture into the hair strand. Would it be better to boil dried Amla with other herbs and infuse it into a carrier oil? Yes. Probably. But not everyone is going to do that. Are their better commercial hair oils besides Dabur? Yes. I personally use Kama Aryuveda hair growth oil. But it is a luxury brand, so it is a lot more expensive than Dabur. Anyways. I thought it was a good video. I appreciated it. And you have beautiful hair and it is obvious you work hard to take care of your hair. Thank you so much.

CobraYI: are you from India ?

Nathan Astal: Don't use dabur amla or you will go bald
