Hey everyone we're about to head out um ellen, is waiting outside for us and we're going to reading pennsylvania to pick up our dog. As you can see from the subject line of this video so excited so, let's go along. You want to play one ounce uh! You wan na watch yourself. You want to go home, you want to come out and play. Where are you now? Oh baby, so cute his hair gets all dark yeah you like the water right. Oh my little head yeah. He just smells like a little dirty dog. A little puppy, it's okay, you're done already good job - is just dry up. Try ash you're a little rat right now! Oh, where are you going frankie, so frankie, okay, wakey wakey? I know you're so tired, baby, so tired now good morning it is 7 30.. We woke up at 7. um. First night, we woke up every two hours. We set an alarm, he peed and pooped outside a couple of times, so that was really good and he's only had a few incidents in here in the car. He did pee on me and then from the car he peed on eric, but that's the only time he's peed on us. I think he's slowly, learning he's a crier for sure. He just needs to be able to see you at all times and that's where we're at right now and today he has his vet appointment in three hours. Frankie, you

Susan Aslin Kruczyk: This is the first time in my 73 years that I have not had a dachshund in my family. My last doxie was a mini black Long-hair. Her name was Lady(Bug) and she died at the age of 15. My other doxies were Heidi, Samson, Heidi 2, Gretchen, Greta, Elke, Boki, Nebo, Oscar and Otto. Best breed ever! Daniel: my mini doxie is Bailey, she is a red short hair dapple. The love of my life! She is now approaching 16. She was a crutch for me when I lost my 18 year old daughter in a car accident. They are very loyal dogs. Word of warning though..dont let you dog jump up or down on the furniture or up and down stairs. They have tendencies for back injuries. My Bailey did have surgery for this. Just a word of caution. I do love them though..Enjoy
Baba Yaga: Between me and my wife we've had four dachshunds most recently a 5-month-old puppy. If I could give you one piece of advice if you're new to the breed get a few ramps and put them wherever they climb up/down like your couch and bed. IVDD is a common back ailment with dachshunds, and it can be life-threatening, but fortunately you can all but prevent it by just limiting continuous jumping from high places.
Susan Bridges: The puppy is adorable but the new parents are just too precious. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen such a well prepared new puppy home and such joyful new pet parents. This little Doxy has hit the jackpot and I am sure he will have a wonderful life with mom and dad.
Mark Livingstone: We got same breed, colour when he was a puppy, we rescued him from a family that treated him like crap . Best dog we’ve ever had. Still have a good laugh every single day. He’s 13 and starting to slow down a bit, starting to get grey but we treasure everyday we have him. Enjoy your puppy, great choice. PS, just remember, if you leave something in reach, like your expensive headphones, you obviously wanted him to play with them.

Filippa Bergström: I have a regular sized longhaired daschound! She is 9 and we got her when she was 6 since I was having depression and anxiety. So my parents reached out to our friend and neighbour who’s mom owns a daschound kennel and she gave us Jubi for free. She is a retired show dog (very beautiful she won world championchip) and has really made me so much happier, I love her so much. She has the kindest most gentlest soul (tho very stubborn) and everyone who meets her loves her instantly❤️

Vickie Hurtt - Thayer: I have a mini doxie...cream long hair. Her name is Bell. We love her to death! She is best pet ever. Just remember Dachshunds love to burrow under blankets, makes them feel safe and it's their natural instinct. I litter box trained mine, she is 3 and never uses anything but the box. I posted a video of her using it on you tube. Good luck and happy puppy days.
