Now I like to put my needle back in and then just bring it right through the ribbon loop and pull it tightly, so this is just creating like a little knot in the back of the needle. I'M sorry on the back of thread with the needle. Now we can cut off the excess thread and there is our basic to your bow. Now you can poke these up if you want and then usually you cut these on an angle, so just take a sharp pair of scissors and make a nice cut. You want to do the exact same on this other side.
