Hey, oh boy, oh okay! So this really really to go! Oh my god like this is really oh! Okay, hey guys! What'S up welcome back to my youtube channel and sugar amber okay! So for today's our drive - video! No, I don't know but anyways we're gon na. Do is I'm going to try out this automatic steamed hair curler? Okay, so I don't know you guys heard of a product like this before, but I have, but I just never really bothered to try it out. So basically, this thing sucks your hair into this round or whatever this, and it forms a curl. Okay, it has a steam function, anti tangle sensor, okay, girl, because my hair, I'm not playing if my it gets stuck in this, that's not no, not on my watch. Okay, okay, so they sent me this product right for free, I'm not being paid or whatever I'm just going to give you guys my completely honest, okay, I'm going to give you guys, my complete honest, honest review. You guys will see for yourself if the results are poppin or not so like you guys will see for yourself, because this is going to be very obvious if this works or not okay, so this is the irresistible me moonstone automatic steam curler. To be honest, I have never tried out the product like this before so I'm very skeptical, and because my hair, my hair mmm, my hair mmm, it's so hard to curl, I'm telling you and if I curled my hair, my the girls dropped like in the next Few hours it's like you know, and no I don't use hairspray because it dries out my hair, all right. I'M just gon na use some heat protector, but anyways okay, so there's like instructions for this thing and I really have to you know, read them because I really don't understand. There are a few different buttons on the stage, the curl direction, timing and then the the heating and the instructions are like written, and you know I'm a visual learner. If there were pictures, I would be so much happier. You see all these different steps like all these steps, and you have to read everything very carefully because you know your hair can get stuck in there. So you really need to read everything and it's just like, oh my god, okay, so let me start reading the instructions before I mess everything up. Okay, let me just wash it this world breath so, okay, so I have to fill it up right here. So I didn't need much water, so they say if you have like thick and wavy hair, you have to put this stuff on 450 degrees, which is a lot okay. I don't even flower in my hair on 450 degrees, there's only three heating options: 380 degrees, 410 degrees and 450 degrees, and they say for it like fine hair, you should go in the lowest heat setting, but they also said, like just start at the lowest setting And then work your way up if you feel like you need more in heat or whatever, so I'm just going to start at the lowest setting because girl, so I'm going to put it on three hundred and eighty degrees because, to be honest, like even 410 degrees, I don't know, is it he? Oh, it's already warm whoa. That was fast okay, so they say you have to take a section. Okay, I'm just going to start right here. So you guys can see. You have to take a small section of one inch: I'm not going to do this own curled, hair. Okay, I'm going to do some blow-dried hair to get the best results. You also have to do this on dry hair. They say okay, so, oh! I almost forgot my heat protectant, so I have here my icy fantasia, hair serum. This is the hair straightening serum and heat protectant. So I need a few drops because girl, it's only for this section: Hey, oh boy, oh okay! So this really good to go. Oh, my god like this, is really oh. Okay breath, okay! Okay, this is really really interesting. You know, I think the heat setting can go a little bit higher, though even my aunt wait a minute like what okay, okay, it bounces right back, okay, so this was just a test right now it's for the now for real for real for real okay. This doesn't hurt, you don't feel anything you don't feel anything pulling or whatever like it's painless. This is completely painless, so you have to wait until you hear the three beeps. Okay, okay, girl, 410 degrees - is definitely better yo. Okay, so I'm not going to touch this. Just going to hop right on to the next section, okay, so we're all that look. Look at this hey what is happening? Okay, so my hair was stuck okay. So, oh, I think this was like the tangle censor. It really stops everything device if your hair gets tangled check if your hair is placed correctly, okay, okay, so this is actually kind of starting to be a roller coaster. Motion. Okay! So let me just twist my roots a little bit. I was happy for a second okay, but what is happening? Maybe my section is a little bit too big, it's not too big, but anyways. Let me just write this: where are the beeps? What is happening? Okay? Finally, finally, oh my goodness. Okay, if you have long hair right, your sections need to be small: okay, okay, hey my hair was stuck for a second okay, so the difference yeah is real between big section small sections micros. My hair is like all the way to the roots curled, which is great. I was thinking like you know. This won't even Chrome our roots, but to be honest, it did it so props to you girl. You know I'm bloat right here. This is kind of cute. You know it's so look. If you finish your whole, you know I need to do so much more. Oh, what the heck! I have a smaller section right. Look at this. It'S going to tangle, see no, it's not working. I don't know what the problem is, because I'm doing I'm not doing it any different than previous times. Okay. Finally, huh. Thank you so long to do beautiful, curl, okay, you know in the instructions they say sections can be 370 meters wide. My sections are very small and it gets tangled all the time can't curl cute right, but the efforts to do this is so much, but you know yeah yeah. We I'm just going to wait. I'M just going to do half of my head, so stay tuned in a second to see my conclusion about this product: okay. But what is wrong with you? Okay, so I just finished doing half of my head and it took me 64 minutes to do that. 64. 64 minutes to do just half of my head. That'S a long time. Okay, but you know the results, though, like the curls are so so cute, like I'm being really serious right now, like the curls are really cute. You guys see for yourself. This is so nicely done. You know, I feel like a doll. I really feel like a doll, micros didn't drop or whatever my curls didn't loosen up like. If I would do like a curling wand look or a curling iron. Look, no. These girls really stay and I didn't even use hair spray or whatever. So yes, these curls hold so well. Look at that! That'S so cute, but yeah! It'S just! It took me so long because I had to stop maybe 50 % of the time, because this thing I don't know my hair - just got stuck in this like 50 times I later realized, small sections are key for long hair. Okay, if your hair is as well as my hair, you need to do small sections, because your inner will just get stuck in this, but also the thing is. If my hair is stuck in this, it didn't hurt at all, because it automatically stops everything and you can easily pull your hair out without you know, pain or whatever, like it didn't hurt. When my hair was stuck, it is but it's just you know it's so irritating. Why is this happening to me? While I was doing my hair, I was looking in another tutorial and the girl and she had natural hair and the girl said she completed her whole head and 45 minutes. But her hair was short like her. Hair was about chin length and it took 45 minutes. So that's way shorter than my my I'm not going to do the rest of my hair, because actually I have somewhere to go, and I don't have the time to do another one, our session on this side. Okay, because I really really thought this would only take like maximum an hour which is so sad because not all look crazy, so I'm just going to put it - I don't know, maybe in a bun or whatever, but I really have to go so I have to Leave it like this okay, it does the job very well, but I don't think I'm going to do this again on my head. I want someone else to do this on my hair, I'm not going to do it. I'M not going to sit here like two hours. Three hours like that, no, I don't you know, I'm so lazy. I have enough time that I have to spend on my hair. Like seriously. I have to wash my hand this is nothing that oh it takes hours and then doing this on top plus three hours. It'S just a lot for me. You know, I know I can't I can't so if someone wants to do this on my hair gladly, but if you have hair shorter than mine, this will work so well on your hair, like guys like, I saw a girl. She has starred for here. You know I will just link the video down below so guys. I really hope you enjoyed this video and let me know what you think about this automatic: a steam hair curler in the comment section and if you have any questions just let me know down below and I will try to answer your question. Thank you. So so much for watching this video - and I will see you see you in my next video - okay, bye

Indiegirl007: I actually like those curls. Not for every day, and not for most special occasions, but....when you have long thick hair, and you put in those curls, you start to feel like you're in a Pantene commercial. Like you want to slather yourself in coconut oil, turn on a fan, and stare mysteriously into a camera.

KetoKarine920: Everytime it beeps and rejects her hair reminds me of a vending machine spitting out your dollar....

Victoria Spangler: Love this review!

Nia Marie: Your brave girl.. I would be to scared. I would worry about my hair getting stuck.

SimplYounique: I’m so torn!!! On one hand the results are gorgeous and makes me want to try it but on the other hand I don’t want to spend hours to get some curls... oh the dilemmas..

Makayla Beasts: I have used this type of device before and had the same problem with the “tangling” beeps. I figured out it happens if you are moving your head or the device while it’s sucking the hair up. I hope that helps if you try it again!

Cwayzums: I’ve been using mine for over 6 years and it can get pretty annoying when my hair gets stuck, but really the key to it is to take your time and use small sections at a time. I find that this hair curler is the easiest one to use because the beeps tell you when you can release it curls all of my hair in half the time.

Colorsof Avon: I would've NEVER done that at the front of my hair as a test. You're brave.

Sheanel Gardner: Amber always taking risks for us and starting on the front of her hair ❤️❤️

Ashleigh Charakupa: Girlllll.....it kills me how you keep testing with the strands in the front

tspcocktail: This appliance is for people who don't have thick hair and no hairstyling talent. Cute results but a novelty product. Thanks Amberrrrrr

Tara Burke: I have the purple conair version of this and it’s pretty awesome. Time consuming, but works well. My hair is hella straight, but I have a lot of it. You have to use small sections for it to work well and I found that if I hold the ends of my hair while it’s being pulled in and guide it on its way in the roller, there are a lot less tangles. But that’s just my personal observation.

Angel _: That intro was everything! I love your natural reactions. No fake reactions with you! Thanks for always being honest. ❤️

Mirei lle: Whoever is reading this I wish you have a perfect day tomorrow

Mocha: There's definitely a trend with steam hair styling devices. I have a steam straightening brush that works well. I think the curls turned out well

Aleksie St. Jules: I always hold my breath when Amber tries stuff for the first time in the front of her hair What if something goes wrong?

tiff2106: Just saw natural hair products in a random drug store in germany. I don‘t need them but I was happy to see them! Yay for diversity and everybody being able to get the products locally they want and need without going to a special store.

Traci Clark: You are a doll! The curls did come out really pretty! The gadget works well but definitely better if someone else does it for you. Keep the hair videos coming but I'd love to see a few videos about the differences (and/or similarities) you've noticed between Belgian and Ghanaian cultures.

G: I think this is actually worth it!!! When I think about normal curlers/ curling wands it takes me around the same time, but even longer at times because sometimes, since how well the curl comes out is dependent on how well I wrap the hair piece around and stuff, sometimes the curl won’t form well I.e it’ll be loose and I’d have to keep doing it over and over till it comes out right! This, all you need to ensure is that the size of the part of hair is right and you put it in right, but the curl is guaranteed! I genuinely think it’s worth it

Kailey Reich: I love your personality! Your video's are so fun to watch and I cross my fingers every time for you not to get your hair stuck in these contraptions! Still remember when I was young I got my hair stuck in a remote control car around the wheel! Leaned over it thinking it was broken and accidentally bumped the remote and it wrapped around the wheel! Scarred me for life even though it came out fine!

jjjordan0216: Oh I LOVE mine! I don't even flat iron my hair, I just use it on blown out hair and my results are bomb everytime!

Paige Hetrick: I have this and it works AMAZINGLY it takes a while but the results are beautiful. I love it

solitaire smith: It looks soo beautiful. Too bad THAT machine gets messed up so much

Elaine: I got one like this for free because they kept sending me it instead of a flatiron...I was so worried to use it because I have natural hair but now watching you makes me want to pop open the box and try it out!!!

Michelle Macco: Amber I LOVE YOU!!! Tomorrow morning I am calling that idiot of a company to express how disappointed I am in their behavior . Instead of throwing legality at you, they should have asked you to work with THEM on releasing the “real waveformers “ . Of course this is a major impact on the company because what they did to you miss amber was childish.

June MD Evans: Good job, thanks for testing this for us. With extra long, thick hair like yours, once the curl chamber fills up, it warned you that you had too much sectioned off. Also, I figured out halfway through you would need more time or aomeone else to do it for you. My arm hurt just watching you, LOL. Curls were gorgeous! You could have rolled the other side into a bun base andwrapprd those curls around it. Ok, bye!

Wild Peaks Soapery: I am legit addicted to your videos!!!! Love how chill and honest you are!!!

Johanna JF: I got one similar to that one for Christmas one year and only used it about 3 times. My whole head took 2h to do because I had to recurl pieces multiple times for it to look good, then when I were done the curls dropped in less than 1h. My mom took a picture of me at that year's new year's eve and the strongly strange looking hair looked like I went for a bad dreadlook effect. My dad had the picture saved as his background for a while, the shame I felt

ShiningWray: Even though I saw it was time consuming, I did notice a few exceptional things... 1. It had a set time for each section and the beeps let you know when it's done, when doing it manually you are guessing when you think the hair has curled. Something to note, I didn't see the device used twice on the same curl after it was curled. Key of this is no extended heat exposure. 2. Curls were almost precise duplicates, my curls if done by hand are not always consistently the same curl tightness or looseness. 3. Saves your wrist from aching or getting tired from manipulating hair around a curler or straightening iron, ESPECIALLY, when you get to the back of the head. Ladies you know the tricky twisted positions you have to do to curl hair in the back especially if your hair is long. I'm going to give this a try because all I see are great benefits. I also bet that the more practice I get is the faster I can use this. Thanks Amber for your honest demonstration and I hope you'll try it again, now that you've figured it out, I bet it won't take that long next time.

paizs rita: the amount of times my hair got stuck in it it's insane. i had to literally rip it out of my hair many times cuz it just got soo stuck i couldn't get it out. It's insane! Each time i curled a piece i was praying for it to not get stuck. Like gurl, be happy ur hair didn't get stuck like it did many times for me. I even burned rly badly one section of my hair bcz of this product. It just was in for so long my hair was smoking >.<

Ashleigh Leslie: I have oneeee! Although I don’t keep it on my hair as long. It takes me 20 minutes to get the big voluminous curls I want! This really helps achieves volume! I love it!!!

cloudego111: So, I think you need to hold your hair the whole time and guide it in until all of it is the chamber. When you let go instantly and start the rotation, your hair spreads out and it approaches the chamber not just from the side but also some from the top and I think that is why it gets stuck. Make sure it's only feeding in from the side.

Terry CH: I think this can be useful for someone with some kind of disability and less thick hair. And may be easier for someone else to do your hair with that device.

bella0418: I love you. So honest and funny. You got alot of hair this is gonna take you 2 hours to do. Not only is your hair long but its thick. Balance your time. You'll be better off with overnight curling method .

Evryting Kriss: Curls are very cute! Smaller sections give tighter curls. I think it would look so bomb in a high ponytail. Love your channel!

InternetWAP: I love how real your video it is, like you keeping all the mistakes, technical issues wirh the curler. It's very informative and it shows everything we need to know.

Dani P: I started watching this video, and was surprised I wasn’t already subscribed. I am now. I’m jealous of your hair! I have fine dark blonde hair, and wish I had more hair to play with, like you. Love from Colorado!

sblas333: Gurl, first off your hair is beeeautiful. Secondly, those curls were cute. I may have to get that for my daughter. Thank you for the honest review and sharing your experience.

Julia Torre: I have one of these and I have really long hair and it works great but you need to get your hair into the grove if you don't if will stop working and start beeping so all you need to do is just make sure the sections are in the groove of the machine and it will work great:) Hope this helps!

Jessica Zendt: I have long thick ( not as thick as yours) and curly hair, have used one of those for years and love it. It takes a while to get into the groove of it tho. I noticed you were turning your hair slightly before putting into the curler. That’s possibly why it was beeping at you. It needs to be completely flat so the hair can spin around the curler. I love your videos btw! Xoxoxo

ugomimi: You are so brave to test in the front of your head. I would ALWAYS start in the middle or the nape in case I need to cut my hair.

Linda G: Smaller sections!! It beeps if too much hair is in the gadget.I absolutely LOVE watching your videos because you're 110% for real!! You have such a great sense of humor. Thanks for taking the time make your videos. I know they're very time consuming. Again, thanks so much!!

Liv Steen: They make CGM hair sprays that aren’t drying, but mousse works really well too! (Shea moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Frizz-Free Curl Mousse, i put it on before I do anything, I’ll let it dry but if the styling tool lets you have damp hair then I don’t.)

carlamj64: I love that in the description of your reviews, you also put links to other YouTubers that have reviewed the same product. Way to lift people up! <3

lilwackadoodle: I'm having a bad day and 30 seconds in and I'm smiling. Bless you girl

Dee Vah: Thats the same heat protectant Ive used my entire life of doing my own hair ... relaxed and natural. I love that stuff.

Obsidyenne G: Girl, where do you find these gadgets? And clearly you’ve impressed manufacturers. They’re reaching out to you. I always feel good when I get a notification for your videos, because I know the video will be good. I have the same issues with my hair staying curled once it’s straightened. Looks great at first and then 3hrs later, it’s droop city.

Ann Anderson: Your hair is so beautiful!! I always wanted to know how well those worked. I have thin, pin straight hair and it won't hold a curl. I still don't think it'll work for me. My hair is so long. It's all the way to my my big butt. Lol. Thank you for sharing. I wish they would send me one for free.

Meu Ponard: I love your hair. While watching this, I feel like I wanted to curl your hair for you.

Katie Smiles: I got scared for you when your hair got stuck for a second

Melanie Marte: I love her facial expression on the test run. That had me dying .

Pugs and Stilettos: I so enjoy your videos. You made me laugh today. I actually have this product but without the steam feature. It works well. TFS! JACKIE

Fallen: I remember Graveyardgirl used a product that was pretty much like this like 5 years ago, and I always wondered how it would be on someone who had curly hair

gυяυвυlυ •: Try actually holding the section WHILE it’s getting in, holding it so it slides in as a string of hair. Cuz when u didn’t hold it it just fluffs up and the machine doesn’t know what to do with it cuz the string of hair isn’t clear so I think it would be better... don’t know if what I said makes any sense to anyone else but I hope you kinda get it lmao Love you Amber I love your energy

Tasjma Clay: I love your hair videos and I’m glad I’m seeing you grow as a youtuber

Johanna JF: when I got one I thought it would be easier when a normerl curling wand for my long hair but no, almost always the top and bottom weren't curled and sometimes the hair got stuck for no reason. hated it, wanted it to work som tried a few times but wasn't worth maybe burning of my hair so having used it more than about 3 times

CurlyJapan: Girl, i feel you, i would be so irritated the thing would’ve been out the window! I love the results though, maybe one day I’ll have to try it!

honeychick4ever: You had my laughing. Better you than me trying that product. I love watching your videos.

JudyRose: I think it's great. You have such amazingly thick hair that you were struggling but I think that gadget it great! Looks beautiful.

Melanie Moody: We have the same hair but mine isn't thick like that but it's long and when I blow dry it, it looks just like that and takes me hours to do, I feel you girl. Curling it will take way more time and I don't have time for that.

Pam Lin: The struggle of long thick hair!! It always takes forever to do! Lol I never spend less than and hour doing my hair... natural or straight! But great review and tutorial!

A A: Hey Amber! Did you refill the water in the steamer at any point in time during that session or did the water last the whole time? Curious because I have a similar one that doesn't use steam and love it, thinking this might be less damaging...

Jazzerbean25: A lot of the devices she introduces I have never seen or heard of. So I tend to wonder what is the process Amber goes through to find these gadgets. Does she type in "Hair gadgets" or "hair contraptions" in google? lol

Mazz Ozzy: Love the curls, would like to see both sides done :)

Yarissa Dorame: 6:25 reminded me of when you put a wrinkled dollar in a vending machine and just keep trying over and over again love you girl!

Hi World: Curled or not, your hair looks gorgeous. So you can toss that thing away if you want.

Felicia Dunn: Thanks for your honesty and review of this product.

PepperPhoenix: I am so damn jealous of your hair. Mine is poker straight, thin and fine. My pony tail is only as thick as 2-3 of those sections you curled. I know that thick hair has its disadvantages (mine dries in just a couple of minutes) but still... Want!

--: I once tried one of those when I was around 10 years old and my hair got stuck, I remember it being so painful since it was like pulling my hair or something I had to cut a piece of my hair off but luckily it wasn't visible

Patricia Williams: Girl u r blessed to have hair like that. I love ur hair. Don't lose patience with it. I had to shave my head due to alopecia. It's not fun. I miss having my hair.

Tina Marie78: lol I definitely understand the frustration but your curls came out gorgeous!

Johanna Rogers: I never tried this particular tool but Instyler came out with a similar one called the tulip or something like that and I got the bootleg one from Kiss. I paid like 70 bucks for it and used it once because it gave me ringlets curls and I not trying to look like Shirley Temple. Worst purchase ever. So when I saw this one gave similar curls I was like nope... Give me a wand any day. I knew your hair was going to be a hassle in this tool. That ish is for fine straight hair.

TANDBTV: Very beautiful beautiful Darling, amazing video

Aylea Fang: Your facial expressions are something to live for ❤️

Monae R.: I bought one a year ago and never used it, I think I will now. Your curls are super cute!

Saachi Kumar: You rock every hair style gurl ❤️❤️

Vicki C: Amber, your brave to even try these products on your beautiful hair.

SunshinePoppy: I adore mine! Your hair is super thick! It only takes me 30 min tops to curl my whole head, easy peasy!

Betty Johnson: I love the curls that you got from it. Probably after you use for a while it will be fine.

Minnie Miss: Hun you have awesome Hair. Don't ruin it with these heaters and curlers. Save it.

Rae Talks: Amber thank you for doing this videos! You are helping me save my coin and giving me video ideas. Could you do I visited the best / worse hair salon in my area video.

thenewpyt: My mom tested that on me when i was like 7 because my sisters were too scared and I didn’t give a shit about my hair. She put it on the wrong way and I started crying bc it was pulling against my scalp so hard.

TOWANDA the STYLIST: Super neat! Until it started stopping! Now that’s to much work! Thank you for reviewing You have Beautiful thick natural hair btw

Haily Paula Neves: You are my fav youtuber like your videos are soo inspiring and funny❤️and girl if I tell you I am the most happiest person everytime you post a video it’s a factI really love you and continue doing what you do❤️

its ny: amber acts like just like me when i do something i think ima regret and then end up loving the results

Kritika Bhasin: I have that and it definitely works really good. You need to understand how to work it right and then it goes by really fast. I highly recommend it. If you have short hair, it will take you 10 mins

Aubrey K.: I just recently subscribed to you channel and I absolutely LOVE it!!!! Your hair is so beautiful

Rose M: I have such although mine aint a steam one, been using it on my wigs and love it so far but yeah its so time consuming and was tricky to use it at first but am used to it now and smaller section the way to go with it.

jenny wren: When you said it took you 64 minutes I was shocked I used did my whole head in 6/7 minutes SUPER quickly because i was in the biggest rush possible But normally would take me 20-30 minutes with straight hair

Joann Phillip: I have one for about a year now, and its amazing....just make sure you put your hair through the correct side. I made the mistake and put my hair through the flat side and it got stuck, that was not sexy!!

LaDonna Martinez: I use this everyday at my salon and I have one at home for my own hair it is a different brand but I absolutely love it been using it for 3 years now

CoolKem C: I would love to see this on shorter thinner hair because it looks so massive. My hair is only 8 inches long on a good day stretched.

Kevin Petersen: Smaller sections for longer hair, and important! Remember to brush out your sections well before curling. Every time.

Bangtan Jungkookie: You’re face when you took out the first strained was so adorable :)

Joy Walden: Yay!!!! Ambers trying stuff!! Can't wait to watch

Roe T: I CANNOT use this thing lmao. My auntie has one and did my hair w it and it was perfect, but when I tried it myself I got my hair caught in it and it was burning and I had to rip a chunk of my hair out of my head. I was using small sections too with short hair. My auntie was more concerned about the curler than my burned scalp lmao

Ne Ne Zilla: Well, I have fine hair, so I could just picture this twisting my hair into one big knot. But it looks good on you!

Loren Williams: You have to hold your ends so your hair doesn’t spread out so much that’s what’s tripping the tangle sensor and it will make your ends look better too

CoCo B: Amber I have a patience problem...this thing and all those dang BEEPS would have been bounced straight in the Goodwill box! I aint got time for that! ...but you so cute!

Anon0missX: But Amber...don't you know...you have ALWAYS been such a Doll! :)
