How To Cut Barbie Doll Hair!

Hi guys welcome back to my channel, so today i'm gon na give barbie aka betty a hair makeover now just a little disclaimer. I am no way a hairdresser, so i know nothing about her. Cutting hair and also the hair will not grow back. When i was younger, i completely made her bold and her hair didn't grow back and i was upset so yeah. I am basically going to give her a bit of a bob, i think, with a few layers and i'm also gon na dye, her hair pastel colors. Yes, pastel colors, so let's get on to the video okay, i'm gon na give her a bit of a brush. She'S actually got quite thick hair, i'm so jealous. Oh okay! Come back up betty, so firstly, what i'm gon na do is section her hair right. I know that i do not have proper hairdressing scissors, but this is just gon na have to do so kitchen scissors. It is oh, i'm so scared, it's quite hard to cut. Actually joe just said it's because it's plastic, okay, this is looking a bit dodged, but it's okay. We can fix it. Okay, the back's, looking good there you go. Can you see that? That'S not bad for cutting synthetic hair? I'M actually quite happy with that, but her front bits one's longer than the other, so this is shorter and this is longer so yeah as you can see longer and shorter. So i'm gon na have to fix this. Okay, so we're now equal now, it's time to do the top bit. I really have chopped her hair off. Oh sorry, bessie! Oh better you're! Looking for you at the moment, ken is gon na love you, the bag, is actually looking quite good. That'S not bad! For someone who has never cut hair before you're in great hands, bessie fantastic hands right, let's do the front. Okay, i'm just gon na check to see. If we are matching - oh yeah, i think we've done good there. So the whole look i was really going for is a bob look. I think i've done. Okay, i mean the back, isn't too bad now the fronts are slightly longer, but i was kind of going for that kind of style and i just like her fringe. I'Ve cut it slightly um, but now we're onto the hard bit the layers. Okay, so i see my hairdresser bring up the hair like this and then cuts down into it. So here it goes. I, like it better you're gon na look like a surfer babe by the end of this. You have to be so careful with these scissors. I almost chopped off my finger then so i took to my instagram live and i asked you guys what color should i make her hair? So it was decided that i should use all four colors, so i'm gon na go for jade, which is a green color. A blue, a ice color which is kind of purpley by the looks of things and also strawberry, which is pink so i'm dead excited to do this. Okay, i'm a bit nervous, but i'm gon na start with jade. I think, oh, my god, that is so cool. Wow, okay, just look at that. That is pretty awesome. I am so excited to do. The rest of the hair okay betty's face is getting all colorful, but it's okay, it's all part of the service. Oh, my god, no way, oh i'm so jealous her hair is looking incredible. Oh my gosh look at that. I want that hair okay, so i'm just gon na continue with the rest of the hair. So i'm gon na give betty a towel because it is leaking a little bit um because it's not real hair, but it's looking good actually look at that. That'S the back! So far, yes excited! So i'm just gon na finish the front of the hair. Now, okay! So now i'm just gon na style, the hair. Now i'm gon na kind of make it a little messy, but just look at this color. It'S absolutely amazing, i'm so short that i was able to do this. Okay, so are we all ready for the final? Look? Okay, three two one tada, i give you the new improved bessie. I literally cannot believe that, with these schwarzkopf um colors that i was able to do this on synthetic hair, i am so jealous. I'M speechless rainbow color hair in a barbie doll. Oh my gosh!
