Hey guys so today I have a faux bob tutorial for you. I can show you how to make long hair look as if you have a bob. Obviously, it doesn't look as natural as if you would actually cut your hair into a bob and that it's mainly because I have hair. That is all one length. If you have a little bit of layers, it's going to look so much better on you, but I just want to show you the technique and it may be still really nice to kind of do if you may be considering cutting your hair into a bob, and You just want to see what it looks like for a little bit before you actually commit to cutting your hair yeah. If you want to know how to do a faux bob then keep on watching. So I'm going to start by brushing my hair really well. So we're going for a smooth look here, I'm just using my tangle teezer for that. Okay. So I'm going for a middle parting here, but of course you can do whatever you want side partings, whichever you prefer. So I'm going to separate out the section of hair from about my ear forward like that and then I'm going to tie the back of my hair into a low ponytail. If you want, you can kind of tease this part of your hair before you do the ponytail, but I'm going to skip that because I think it's really necessary. So I'm going to turn around and show you the rest of the hairstyle. So now what I'm going to do is pull this hair elastic down. Just like that, and I'm going to fold it under take on this hair and tuck everything underneath like that and then pay down with a bunch of errands okay. So once you've got the back all done, we are going to work on the front of the hair. I feel like when you put this hair in the ponytail as well. It looks kind of unnatural because it swooped way back and it's pretty noticeable in my opinion. So what I do is I actually just wrap this hair out of my head and I've been that kind of circle, hair down right here at the name of my neck. It'S still going to swoop back just not nearly as dramatically and there. It is my faux bulk, so obviously, if you have layers this is going to look a lot better, especially if you have layers that are working this length, preferably layers that are in the front and and around here, so that it looks like you know, your hair Is actually cut this way? This is a pretty hard hairstyle to do on hair. That is all one length, but, as you can see, it's definitely doable. So this is what my hair looks like in football and just to be absolutely clear. No, I am NOT going to cut my hair this way ever. It'S not gon na happen. So that's all I have for this tutorial guys. I don't thank you so much for watching. JJdances♥: I followed this tutorial last year and was able to do this hairstyle perfectly (I wanted to see how I'd more or less look with short hair as well as prank my friends).. but now I'm re attempting it for a costume and I can't get it right for the life of me. I absolutely suck with anythinghair related, I'm so frustrated I could almost cry. I'm so jealous of people who are really good with hair, you make it look so easy and it always looks so nice omg. yassmin91: haha ok you would never cut your hair this short understood hahaha but have you ever considered layering? i used to have "one length" hair for the longest time it was just easier for me when i wanted to trim my hair everything 3-4 months since i could do it myself, then one day i layered it i saw a huge difference with the overall look it was more bouncy and look great but the down side was i couldn't trim it my self :( but still i like the layers (and i was like you and still am no heat as much as possible kinda girl lol)
