Hey guys in this video, I'm going to show you how to do this lace, braid headband. Not only is it a good way to keep hair out of your face, it's also super cute and very wearable. So let us begin first off brush your hair and gather it to the front of your face as well. Use a rat tail comb and make a part over your head from ear to ear. Gather your hair at the back of your head and tie it into a ponytail since we won't be braiding. This part we're just going to tie it out of the way comb the hair in front of your face to one side. If you have things you can leave it out or you can choose to comb it all together to start the braid. You want to pick up some hair and divide it into three equal parts. To start the lace braid I'm going to take the bottom strand and place it over the middle. Then I'm going to take the top strand and place it over the middle. Now you want to pick a pair under the front of your face and incorporate it with a bottom strand and then place it over. The middle strand then cross the top one over without picking up any hair. Once again, pick up hair near the front of your face, incorporate it with the bottom strand and place it over. The middle then take the top strand and just cross it over the middle, and this is basically a half French braid, because you're only picking up hair on one side as opposed to both - and this will give you the lace effect. If you have bangs, you can definitely incorporate them into this hairstyle by bringing them in, but I tend to leave mine out of the way because I, like the look of it, so it's really all up to you. My sister here doesn't have any things. That'S why I'm just picking up all her hair plus she doesn't like to have hair in front of her face, so this hairstyle is perfect for her. Now that I have reached her ear, I'm just going to continue to do a regular three strand braid on the rest of her hair use, a small elastic hair band to tie off the braid. I'M try the rest of you here at the back and if you want to, you, can always tease it to add volume, but I'm just going to comb it to one side and then tie it into a side. Ponytail. Take your braid and wrap it around. The hair tie then grab some bobby pins and just pin it in place. So here I use two bobby pins to secure the braid, but you may need more depending on how thick or stubborn your hair is accessorize your hair. If you want to and you're done, here's the finished hairstyle, if you don't like the look of side ponytails, you can always leave your hair down and tuck the rest of your braids behind the nape of your neck. But I think side ponytails are really chic thanks.
