Hi, my name is Claire, I'm a hairdresser and I'm going to show you how to do womens military hairstyles. Okay first thing we're gon na do, is you have to make sure that none of your hair is peeking out so model here has bangs, so I'm just gon na use a bobby, pin and secure it back the bangs, then I'm gon na take my Mason Pearson Brush and just smooth the hair out gathering into a low ponytail and just make sure you get all the hair in that you can that it's nice and tight and smooth and then you're just going to take an elastic, wrap it around your hair. So it's nice and tight and before you put your hair into we're, gon na put it into a low bun. So before you do that, I would use a little bit of hairspray and just use your brush again to just tame any frizz. You have because everything needs to be very clean, make sure everything is secure and then you're gon na start twisting your ponytail, nice and tight and it's gon na start winding itself around your elastic. Just keep twisting and twisting until you get into a low bun, then you're, just gon na use bobby pins and secure just to make sure everything is nice and tight and your hair's not going to get in your way. Couple of bobby pins should do, and I always shake my head to make sure that it looks that it feels nice and tight like nothing's gon na fall out. And if you have anything sticking out, you can use a hair, pin and just tuck the ends in a little bit better and that's a military hairstyle for a woman.

Scrapblogger96: If you are going to utilize this hairstyle for the military, please note that the color here is out of regs. Also, the bobby pin for the bangs is not within regs. You also need to utilize gel / hairspray on the bun as those small pieces sticking up are not allowed.

casey gleason: Hair-holding devices may be used only for securing the hair. Soldiers will not place hair-holding devices in the hair for decorative purposes. All hair-holding devices must be plain and of a color as close to the soldier's hair as is possible or clear. Authorized devices include, but are not limited to, small, plain scrunchies (elastic hair bands covered with material), barrettes, combs, pins, clips, rubber bands, and hair bands.

Emily Berry: Literally the worst I’ve seen if I wore any aspect of that hair style I’d be doing push ups all day I can only assume this is a civilian who didn’t actually ask a female in the military how we do our hair smh

Shelby McConnell: This is so out of regulation that its hard to watch. I agree with Scrapblogger96 the hair color needs to be 'natural' and the bun very smooth, and we all know 3 bobbie pins wont hold up that bun for long.

mollypocket32: why would you do a military hairstyle on BLUE hair???? This has to be a joke.

M Rob: First, the bangs are wrong, you have to have them rolled and blue hair? Why would you use her as a model? Also that wasn't a tight bun AT ALL bad video!!

cristina davis: Horrible example! She looks unprofessional and that isn't how you should be doing your bun. This lady obviously doesn't know anything.

Lucia Bruno: This is totally out of regs that but will touch the bottom of the collar

Ceara McLaughlin: This must be a joke

lisbeth je: Terrible video
