Easy Half Beehive Hairstyle Long Hair

Hello lovelies, I'm Nana Moreno, welcome to your channel and today we'll be doing this hairstyle, which is very 1960s inspired and half beehive.. Of course, if you want to take down the volume a little bit modernize it a little bit, you definitely can. But you know me, I love volume and today it's an extra special video because we have partnered with Eva NYC, which can I just insert their sprays. Are breathtaking I just have to say that.. They have recently launched at Sally Beauty, which you know I'm a big fan of Sally Beauty. So I'm really really excited that they're going to be there they're tools, my goodness I did my hair like in half the time with these tools and another thing, they're super light as well, not only effective but light, especially if you like to do your hair. A lot like myself, you don't even feel it in your hand., So I hope that you enjoy the video, let's get started. So for this look we want to make sure to start off with really really clean here. My hair is still damp, so I'm gon na blow dry it and I'm going to be using the Eva NYC blow-dryer. Not only is it a beautiful color, but it's super lightweight and it gives you the results. Just like a professional hair. Dryer does but with half the weight which I love, especially if you have long hair or if it takes you a while to dry your hair. I think you'll really really love this., So I'm going to be blow-drying and medium to low heat. So let's get started. ..., Oh before I forget, I have to show you guys the tin that it comes in it's so beautiful and if you're like me and you love to store things away, I just love to save these and store, like all my little knickknacks and stuff but yeah. I had to share it with you guys, because I just thought it was so beautiful when I received it. Okay now my hair is dry and I'm just going to section off the first section here, so this is going to be the top part. So I'm just going behind each ear and just grabbing it at the crown here and I'm just going to grab my hair and just twist it around just so it's out of your way just clip it on top. Here now I'm going to start working on the back section. I want it to be more of a soft look, so I'm going to do more of a wave and a curl at the bottom, just to give it a little bit of texture. Look with my straightening iron and what this one I'm actually going to be able to form the waves and the curls all in one which saves me a lot of time, and you know I love time saving.. So I'm going to turn it on right here and here we can go up or down, and I am going to go about mid section here. 360. I always recommend to start with the lowest and kind of work up and see what your hair likes and usually try midway, usually works good for my hair, but, like I said, if you haven't used one before, I always recommend start low and then work up until Your hair actually starts reacting to the heat., So let's grab a section, oh and by the way, this one also comes with a tin.. I should show it to you right: okay, hold on hold on I'll, be right, back! Look how cute this is.. I already have things stored in here, so you know I love it, but I just love the color too., Okay, getting back to the hair so section off and I want it to be soft. You can hold it a little longer if you want more of a defined crease, some forward slide and then back and slide forward slide back slide forward, slide back slide forward, slide and back slide and then at the end I want to curl. So I'm going to flip my end over and twist and see how it gives it like a nice curl. If you want a softer curl, all you have to do because the there's still heating the hair, just pull it slightly and it'll soften the curl, give it more of a wave so we're going to go over and do the rest of the hair. Let'S continue and by doing a little bit of texturing here at the top, the wave it'll give us a little bit more volume as well. So I'm going to work on the rest of the hair. I'M just going to finish this side up here, I'm just going to smooth it out a little bit and in subsections, because I don't want it to be. Like I mentioned superstructure, I just want a little bit of texture there and in some sections, I'm just starting the curl a lot higher., Okay, so for now I'm just going to let it be, and I'm just going to the top section. Okay, so we're going to the top section here and I am going to be teasing it., So I'm kind of splitting it in half there we go I'm going to split it in half it doesn't matter, it doesn't have to be perfectly sectioned off or anything like That grab your favorite teasing brush whatever you have handy that you love and we're going to start back combing I like to do a soft backcomb, so I just grab and pull kind of like a C like this and don't forget the edges around here there we Go and you're going to love, love love. This. Can I get it there? We go.. I love this product. I'Ve been trying it out too, and it gives you so much volume the City, Grit, Matte, Texture Spray. You guys are going to see ... look at that. It'S so high, it can't even stay up., I'm gon na tease the bottom part too.. So now that we teased the middle we're going to tease this bottom part, I'm just gon na do again. The soft tease don't tease too hard because we don't want to ruin that middle tease that we just did.. So I am mainly just softly teasing and then I'm going to grab more of my City Grit., I told you. The volume was amazing. Okay. So now we're just gon na do a very, very soft brush out just on the top. I'M thinking I'm looking at it, I don't know. I think I want some bangs. What do you guys think? Okay, we're going to do bangs, it's like all of a sudden, sometimes I'm like hmm. I feel like I'm missing something. Let'S do a bang. Why not? And, as you can see, I also really love the spray, because it's very manageable as well like, especially with my dark hair. One. You can't see the product and two it's very manageable and you can brush through it restyle. It'S super super easy and I want most of my volume to be right on the back here., I'm going to put these bangs down really quick, so we can continue working on the back section.. Okay, so I've been smoothing it out just a little bit here. We just want to do like a very slight soft brush out, like very soft. This part we're going to smooth out. So it's going to look like this and this part as well, but the top part we want to leave it.. So I am going to go in .... As you can see, I have my little baby hairs, making an appearance. I'm going to go in with the Shapeshifter Texturizing Hairspray by Eva NYC. What I love about this hairspray is that it's buildable you can brush through it and it still keeps like the volume nicely as well. See how it just like beautifully. So I'm just going to start smoothing everything out. You can definitely use your hands like I am so just gently start shaping it here. Let me show you guys on the back grabbing everything I'm gon na start pinning, so I'm going to do a twist. I find that that's like the easiest way you grab. Two bobby pins and they're going be crisscrossed this way. Okay. So we're going to go with the bang here, of course, we're gon na smooth it out, grab your straightening iron and we're going to be lifting up. So we don't want to go straight because we want it to have some volume so we're going up and if you have bangs, you already can just shape your bangs and leave them, as is I'm making some faux bangs here, since I don't have any bangs., As You can see how I am twisting to give some volume there we go., So I'm going to tease just a tiny, tiny bit right at the root I'm going to grab a little bit of the Shapeshifter Texturizing Hairspray. So I think I'm going to yeah. I think we're going to do this and I'm gon na grab my bobby, pin and pin it right under. So you can't see it there. We go so it's right under so you won't be able to see it and then I'm just going to kind of blend. This out with this section here that we're going to be fixing and every single detail of all the products that I'm using will be in the description box to make it super super easy for you, guys., Okay, we're just going to finish off the rest of the Hair this top portion here So my hair at the end, I was just smoothing it out and they decided I just wanted to curl at the end. So I just let it be let it do whatever it wants, and I always say it's just sometimes it's like we have a particular idea of how we want it exactly to turn out, and sometimes our hair just wants to do something else. So just roll with it, let it and you know just let your hair kind of do what it wants and mold it as you go.. I hope that you found it helpful and, like always, I will join you in the comments below.
