Hi guys question for today my hair length is there going to be a distinct difference of the length of my hair? Before and after the installation of sister locs? Yes, there will be a difference, it can be a significant difference and it can be a not so significant difference depending on your hair, texture, curl pattern and your shrinkage percentage now before you had justice, the locks install or if you loose natural right now, you'll notice. Ok, my hair is loose it's free, but whenever I wet it, whenever it comes in contact with steam, when the humidity is too high outside my hair starts to shrink, some people have a shrink shrinkage that is fifty percent, meaning. If it's this long, it shrinks half some people have 35 %. Some people have 75 %. Some people have any number in between. The point is that they experience a noticeable amount of shrinkage. Now, in getting your sister locks install just because you have the sister locks installed, does not mean that the shrinkage that percentage that it just disappears into thin air. Whenever clients come to me, I tell them come to me with their hair stretched. The hair is not at its maximum straightened length, but it is stretched out towards that length, meaning that they braided it they twisted it. They come to me to clean here mine you. It comes to me with clean hair, they've braided it and twisted it overnight, so that when I unfurl it I loose it out, the hair is elongated to some extent. I never require anyone to come in with flat iron hair, very straight hair, blow-dried hair straight to it. The max know. We need a little bit of kink and coil in order to hold the lock, keep the lock in place we're trying to prevent slippage now, once the locks are installed, your here will seem somewhat kind of long, because the hair is still being manipulated and braids in A braid like fashion out so it's longer now, when you go when you get into contact with steam with water with high humidity that shrinkage percentage factor plays in their hair will shrink. People are sometimes shocked when they walk out with a head full of long sister locks and then, when they wash their hair. They'Re, like oh, my goodness, my hair shrunk where's the length but that length transferred into more fullness because of the curl in the coil of the hair. Okay. So now, since people know that their hair is going to shrink a little they're trying to save as much length, I tell people when you're getting your sister locs go and get a cut, a trim to have a nice shaping of the hair. So, despite the fact that it shrinks, it may shrink a lot, it may shrink very little depending on the individual at least the hair is attractive and has a nice shape to it. When you get your hair shaped up, you will see it through the locks. Sister locks or any of the type of form small micro locks, there's going to be a difference when you install and when you actually live in the locks, whether it's sister locks, micro locks, twisty locks, any form of finely fashioned locks and your hair is natural. There'S going to be a difference, the only time there's not going to be a significant difference is when you have a relaxer and you get sister locks installed or even a whatsit texturizer, there's not going to be much trinkets there, because this chemical application to the hair. These chemicals in the hair, but there'll be a noticeable difference, even as the hair goes out I'll cover that in another video anyway, guys trust your beauty and own. It peace. You
