How To Swim With A Quick Weave

Check out my latest video : WHY I STOPPED WEARING WIGS

https://youtu.be/prnaZcqwNEY

Hey guys, it's me, Sarah and I wanted to do a video on stocking caps and weaves and glue and swimming because it's almost summer time - and I know you guys - want to swim and I could not find any videos on swimming with quick leaves. So I wanted to make a video, because I found a method that works and we don't wear those stupid swim caps like you, don't have to do all that. I found a method that works and I'm going to show you I'm going to show it to you. So ooh, so what you're going to need is a headband, so you need it to be like no smaller than this. So this is like an inch and a half the bigger the better, the bigger the better and also have one in gray. But I don't really use this, preferably you would want black so that you don't really like attract attention to your hair or anything, because if you wear a black headband on this, like your Braille iam gon na notice and um, oh you're gon na need this. I got this from Family Dollar and it's one of those basketball hair tie things with those girls we're not here. Ty'S basketball, headband thingies, but I use it as a hair tie. Um, oh and I got this from Family Dollar, but you can get that anywhere and I got these two in a pack from CVS last year and I got that one last year too. So this is how we're going to do it um. First, you want to put on the headband, in the reason why I said you want to use black or any natural color is because again you don't want to attract any attention, because if you do like a crazy, green you're, a little crazy trying to swim with It crazy mean bright, green hair band, so don't attract the tension. Trust me people rarely would notice okay, so you want to put the headband on okay and next, what you want to do is you want to flip your hair over I'm going to miss that? Okay? So you want to flip your hair over and then we're going to put on this headband so apparently flip that hair over okay. So we're going to put this in a high bun and this isn't going to be perfect because okay, so is this MOT, like the best hair tie ever look how tight it's going to be okay, so there it is, and oh this a little bit crazy-looking. Maybe a little bit lower, but you want to make sure that the headband is covering everything and yeah. So you want to tie your hair up in the headband and this is how you're going to swim guys and if you need it to be more secure. You might want to use some bobby pins on the side, and this is how you swim, and the reason why we have the headband is so that people don't see all of that with all of this, so it's nice and covered, and so that all of the Water won't be like dragging your neck all around, so this is how I swim in the summertime, and I'm going to give you some tips on what to do after you're done swimming. You want to UM let her air dry, the gel will be wet, but it will still have gel in it. So you want to let your hair air-dry and you want to not sleep with a stocking cap. Not some cap, you don't go sleep with the bonnet. That might because more than likely you're, the Jo won't be dry underneath your hair. So oh and your hair will be. It will be a little bit dull, but that's what hair lotion is for and yeah. I just wanted to help you guys so that you can swim this summer and you don't have to love, leaves hold you back. It'S doable. I'Ve done it before, and I've done in the ocean all that great stuff. So all that this really helps you guys, and I hope that you guys really like my crazy combination and how I've been able to manage to swim and it's effective and it's more comfortable. So I hope that you guys really enjoy this video and give me any comments. Feedback questions. Anything thanks for watching bye, guys,

Aboriginal Sarah: Hi everyone Check out my latest hair video: https://youtu.be/DNRfqVCJLo4

Aboriginal Sarah: Well I have a quickweave and I use the Proclaim hairgel underneath the weave (its clear and has a black lid). You can also use morning glory its even better! I put on the gel before I glue on my quickweave. The gel should help protect your real hair from chlorine. I don't know much about lace fronts because I've never worn them before. So I would recommend just getting some cheap synthetic hair from your beauty supply store and doing a quickweave before you swim.

skittlez18babygurl: OMG...I watched your video and went swimming and it worked so well. The only difference is I used human straight hair and a tighter headband because yours looked a lil loose but it might be from your hair. And when I was done since the hair is human, I comb with wide tooth comb from the ends up and blowed dried it. Then styled it. Came out the way I put it in!!! You are so awesome for the idea!!! Thanks SSSSOOO much!

mykindaday: I sooooo needed this!! Thanks for this tutorial

amee dell: Thank you ! was cute and helpful

beauty4less4u: That is a great idea. You are the first that I see who has addressed this issue. In about a week I'll be going on vacation with my bf and don't want to take off my lace front in his presence. You mentioned gel? Can you tell me about the gel and how I should use it. Also how about drying hair underneath? we're going to waterparks (chlorine). Can I get around removing my lace front and just washing and drying with my lace front on? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for posting.

Aboriginal Sarah: too bad! remember don't wrap your hair up at night after you went swimming! let your hair fully dry underneath! and I would recommend you get a curly synthetic quick weave because it really absorbs water well and dries fast. plus if you get it wet it still looks good and can handle it! also bring a pair of scissors, extra hair, and glue in case a track comes out or you need to do some weave construction! hope this helped:)

Nicole Millwood: Thanks sis was looking for this specific video!!

Siggy T: Great advice. Do you get your entire head wet or do you leave your head out of the water? Also, do you use glue protectant and if you do, do you cover ur whole head? Basically, how do you do your quick weave? How long does it last you? thanks girl!

Aboriginal Sarah: I would also recommend that you get curly synthetic hair because its easier to maintain when its been wet a couple times! unlike straight sythetic hair. Hope I answered your question:)

Cleo Cenci: Thanks girl. That was really helpful. I'm going to Italy soon and will be wearing a quick weave when I go to the ocean. One question? Do u have growth protection solution over your quick weave or just hair gel? I thought when water touches the growth protection solution, your weave will come out. Any help would be appreciated!

TheOriginalbeauty22: What about Clip ins instead of a sew in. With clip ins u can take them in and out wen u want.

Love Love: Great video

Ångel Sing-Riverå: Love your hair you did it yourself? If you are in the chicago area I'd love for you to do mines!

Tonia Jones: What about if you wear synthetic half wigs or clip ins, will they come off, and will the chlorine damage your hair, im goin swimming tomorrow and I don't want my natural hair to fall out or my clip ins to come out

Alexis Clemons: Is you hair glued in or sew in

Janai Henry: what about straight syndicate hair with a leave out

Daija Davis: what if I have a leave out ?

Aboriginal Sarah: synthetic hair and zury French deep and equal 5 something I did a vid on them

Deja Does Negril: What kind of swimming are we talking about? Underwater or just playing around above water

Beauty for Ashes👑: I don't see that will help your hair stay on with glue what's the point of this video
