Hi guys so today, I'm gon na share with you my swimming tips for your natural hair. I recently started taking swimming lessons. I know my big age right muscles OOP not too soon. Oh, my gosh guys it is hard hey. I was just like you use this much muscle like to do this. Do you guys mean okay, so calm in the water and it's actually fun, so I'm enjoying the swimming lessons I love now. As for my hair, that's been just likes but lucky for me. I found what works, and so I'm gon na share that with you guys are starting off with freshly washed hair. What I actually like to do is to braid it up for my swimming lessons. If you try to put your afro under like your swimming cap, it just looks funny. I'M gon na show you guys. Oh my gosh okay, so this is because my hair is still like wet. So obviously it come move into the cap. But the thing that's gon na happen is that your hair is pretty much gon na tangle underneath all of this. So after your swimming lesson, you're gon na come out with tangled matted hair, and let me tell you: you have 4c hair. If you have natural hair, you know what detangling is not the easiest thing, so my hair, especially freshly washed and pretty damp, and so what I like to do is just breathe it into 2 or 4, depending on how I'm gon na stop my head. So my to my lesson I like to do is actually do four braids, so two in front and two at the back and I'm making like cornrows. So that way I can wear a wig doing the week. I'M not like have like a bumpy wig. You know so I like to pre section my hair and then braid it, because that way, it just makes it easier to work with. So I have four sections: I just had it up in place with some elastic bands and now I'm just gon na cornrow the top and then I'm just make them strand braids. At the back for my products, I'm gon na be using this Shea Moisture, manuka, honey and yoga hydrate and repair multi-action leave-in, and then I'm gon na follow it up with this o natural, sheer mango butter cream. So this is my leaving, and this is just gon na seal it, and, what's so great, is that you don't use a lot of products, just use something that's really moisturizing and your hair really likes it, because that way, it's just gon na hold. All of that goodness and gon na go in with the leave-in fast, and then I applied your butter. I'M just gon na call me out to make it fit so now that I apply my products to break my hair. When I'm doing like a cornrow, I like to separate it into little smaller sections. This just helps me grab my hair a lot easier when I'm ready, corn wearing it down. Now that I'm done braiding, my hair actually like to do this days before my swimming class, so my hair really has the time to take in all of that. Goodness from the products, I actually like to wear a wig cap throughout the days before my swimming lessons, so that way helps my hair actually lay quite flat. It honestly feels like my swimming cap is sliding off just because my hair is still damp, but I just want to show you how it would look underneath the swimming cap after I'm done swimming. What I like to do is hop straight into the shower and wash my hair, so I actually go in to rinse out the swimming pool water. So I really get in like through the good water into my hair, and so that really helps as well. Now, once you're finished, I mean your hair definitely feels a type of way like to me. It feels like it's about to just break off, so I'm really gentle and I like to follow it up with a conditioner, a deep conditioner. Now I've really really enjoyed using this share, moisture, manuka, honey and yoga hydrate, plus repair protein powder treatment, and why I like to go for a protein powder is just because my hair feels like it's really about to fall off, and so I go in with this. To help strengthen it and just help me feel a lot better and I like to use the deep conditioner after rinsing out my hair with some warm water in the shower. I then go in with this as well, and this is the manuka honey and yoga hydrate plus repair conditioner, and this is the shampoo now. What I actually do is I deep condition apply my shampoo conditioner and then I do condition again and one grain in with the deep conditioner first is because I just really want to be a bit gentle with my hair and so granary. Conditioner just helps they feel better and then by time I go ahead with my shampoo to really take out that you know swimming pool chemicals, and then I go in with my conditioner as well. It just helps the whole flow and then, by the time I do condition again. My hair just feels a lot better and then you know I have this on the following days. Oh, I just creates another stuff for the week till my next swimming lessons. So it's really like a great thing to have it play dead and just you know put together. So this is me for my swimming lessons. I have makeup on my goggles and we're ready to swim, but I just generally like having the braids underneath it. It definitely keeps my hair protected, and you know the wig cap actually stays and not the wake up. The swimming cap, the stern cap stays, and it actually is a lot more comfortable than trying to stop a fool, ass, eyeful, underneath this car so yeah. That is it. Thank you guys so much for watching. If you enjoyed give me a thumbs up, comment down below. Let me know if you're gon na take swimming lessons with me or if you enjoyed this and I'll catch you guys in my next video bye,
