Top Knot Bun/Ninja Bun Tutorial || No Gel, No Hair Pins.

Hi guys welcome back to my channel. My name is tamua ajibanju and on this channel i talk about natural hair and everything in between in this particular video, i'm going to be showing you how to achieve this hairstyle. So i'm going to start off by brushing my hair all around just to ensure that i have a smooth base to work with now, i'm taking my shoelace and i'm going to tie up my hair as tight as it would possibly go once i have my hair In a ponytail, i'm going to take a band and gather the rest of my ponytail into a makeshift bun, because my hair is too short to do anything else, so i'm just going to tie the hairband around it to keep it in one place. The next thing i'm going to do is take my kinky hair section by section and begin to wrap it around that tight ponytail. So as i'm wrapping this kinky hair, i'm going to make sure that it is tight. Well, not tight tight, but just you know as tight as possible yeah, and i am just going to tie up the ends of kinky strands to keep it in place. So, instead of using bobby pins, i'm just going to wrap and tuck the ends of the kinky hair or put them in a knot to secure it in place. Repeat the previous steps continuously until you have covered every inch of your own hair. Now that i'm done wrapping, i found a pretty long strand of kinky hair. So i'm just going to use that as like a final binder for all of the kinky strands that i have in my hair. I'M going to wrap it from base to top and then secure it in a knot and tuck the ends into the fold. Now that we are done wrapping i'm going to take my silk scarf and wrap it around the base of my hair. To give me an even smoother look: 20 minutes later take off your silk scarf and voila you're done. You have mastered the art of putting your hair in a ninja bone, and i am so proud of you but yeah. That'S it guys! It'S as simple as that. No bobby pins, no undue pressure on your edges because you can secure your bone as tight as you need it to be, and that's the end of this video.
