Wig Caps With Very Long Hair Tutorial (No Bumps, No Cost)

From recent cosplays, I figured out what I believe to be the easiest way to get long, thick hair into a wig cap without tangles, complications, or weird bumps in your wig. Enjoy!

Hi guys, as some of you may know, I do cosplay mostly with my sister and, as you have probably seen, if you've been around for any significant amount of time. My hair is a lot longer than it used to be way down here, and I still have to wear wigs and stuff, and I figured out a way to get it in squirrel and I figured out a way to get all of this into a wig and Not even in the screen, okay into a wig cap without any weird bumps or funky stuff going on, you will need two rubber bands, a wig cap, a buttload of bobby pins and make sure you take everything out of your hair before you start divide your hair Into three equal sections, as if you are going to make a braid tie up the middle section and one of the sides, with your two ponytail holders, you're going to take the remaining loose hair and twist it up all the way down. Just using your hand cake the twist and bring it under the other two ponytails make sure you don't get any hair under it on accident and you're going to twist it the rest of the way up and place it on top of your head um, preferably behind Any bangs bobby pin it into place. You can use as many or as few as you need now you're going to take out the ponytail on the opposite side of your head and you're going to do the same thing twist. It up all the way down. Just using your hands bring the twist under the center ponytail and bring it up alongside the other twist and place it on top of your head, like so bobby, pin the second twist into place again, using as many or as few bobby pins as you need take Out the final ponytail of the center one and you're, going to twist it up like the others, but instead of bringing along side of your head you're, just going to keep twisting it until it bunches up against the back of your head. Keep twisting it into a kind of messy cinnamon, bun, twist sort of thing on back of your head and just pin it into place. You may need more bobby pins for this part, just because it's not smooth you can you to make it stay. Your hair should look something like this from the 180 view, if you have any bangs, just pinned them into place, smooth and flat against your head, and this is why you need to leave space for your bangs when you do the twists up. Otherwise, you're just going to create more bulk towards the front of your head and it'll be harder to get the wig on put both of your hands inside the wig cap and use the little twists as to catch it as you pull it up towards the front Of your head on your forehead, you can then just use your fingers to tuck up any extra hair also make sure you get the hair at the base of your neck inside of the wig cap, so that any stray hairs that fallout don't come out from under The wig use your fingertips to pull the edge of the wig cap up your forehead. If you have a widow's peak, you can use it as a good marker for where to stop and take any wig of your choice. I'M going to use this pink one, because I'm feeling pink today make sure you have the forward part facing forward and apply it from the back catch it on the base of the wig cap and pull it to the front hook your thumbs under there and pull It down do the same thing on the sides that you get it all the way on. You fix it up a little bit and there you go no bumps no funky stuff going on. You do want to be careful if you have a really thick hair and the wig is a little bit tight, because then you may not be able to get it over because you have instead of having like, instead of having like one big clump of hair. You end up with your whole head just kind of being a little bit bigger, so it does work better if your week is a little bit looser, but other than that. It'S work just fine for me. If you have finer hair, you could probably just do two twists instead of three and if you have very thick hair you might want to do for, but that's that's all I use and, as you can tell, it works just fine thumbs up. Josh Mendez: I really needed a good tutorial like this. For a guy, I've always had long hair( was never allowed to cut it), and I couldn't ever really fit it all into any of my wigs for cosplay. There was always some sort of bump because my method of putting it into a wig cap was to either braid it into one long brad and wrap it around my head, or bun it up. I tried your method and was amazed when there was no bump. Thank you very much for this amazing tutorial.

Sahriah The Bard: I'm going to Comic Con on thursday, and I suck at doing my hair, so I'm glad I found a really easy tutorial that actually works! Thank you so much!

Mari E: Thank you so much for this!! My hair is really long and thick and it's annoying to have to put it in several braids- (which makes it even more thicker xP) But this one gives me less of a headache and easier! <3

EmoNightDragon: Works great! And really easy to understand^^ I used big hairclips to fit the extra hair at the front into the wig. :)

Maria: FINALLY I found a video that actually helps me! My hair is right at my hip line when curly and couldn't find a vid that showed me how to hide it without bulking. Thank you SO much for this!! :D

Jessica Baker: It actually works really well! Thanks!!

Alexandra Needs A Nap: My hair is rather long ( past my hips when straight i think) but luckily (i guess? haha) my hair is also quite thin. so this worked great for me and now i can finally feel more confident wearing all my wigs

PatriceZZZZZZZZZZZZZ: I like using the long heavy roller bobby pins, they hold way better with out using too many & regular ones for the bangs

LiRosa G: great tutorial!!! i'm going to try it tonight! thanks from Italy :)

Sophia: In the background, MMA belts, ME TOO!!!!

eFoobar: Ooh, a squirrel! ;)
