See My Thinning Hair & New Human Hair Wig ~ Helen In 4 & Paula Young Wiglet Fail!

Hey everyone. I had my camera on the tripod, I'm still researching and purchasing wigs. Well, I bought one. Today I went back to Leslie's and got a human hair wig. It is from the real collection, America. I think it's American wait. What did she say anyway? It'S called Helen, and I got this it's in the color four, which is a medium brown and I got it for $ 45. I'Ve looked on eBay and online, and if I like it, I can get more, and thus you know Helen gets more in Helen. Leslie gets more in and then I also ordered this online, this Poli, young, wiglet and yeah. I don't think this is gon na work number one. The color is not good and number two, it's just too freaking, curly how's that what do you think you know? I don't know I've been watching tons and tons of videos on YouTube as well as the Olympics, and so I saw how you can alter a synthetic wig or hairpiece using very low heat. As long as you saturate the piece with water and you're very careful not to leave the low heat curling iron on for too long, but then I'm not even sure if this is the back or not. But this is where I would wear it. If I were to keep it - which I oh here in the eye - which I don't think I'm gon na do, but I mean my color might be okay, it looks a little too gray, though I think what do you guys think I don't need to look great At my age believe me, I'm trying to avoid that. So I don't know I have to review the I just opened the box and took it out and didn't even look at any of the information, so I have to look at the return or exchange policy. You know - maybe I can get it in a color, that's a little better. This is 1822, which is it's like an ash ash brown or ash blonde with highlights, and it is the a2 710 sheer touch moderate. Okay and I don't want to do anything to it. I'M even leaving the tag on because I don't think I'm gon na keep this and, like I said you know, I might be willing to exchange it for another color. We'Ll see I got, I had purchased this last week or over the weekend from Leslie, and people are saying: why didn't you, you know just use your regular hair, and this is how thin it is. I mean it's ridiculously thin and I know I need to get it lighter again. I'M just letting the color fade out, sometimes I'll shampoo, twice a day, with a blonde shampoo to help the lightening process which is helping and it's growing out a little which is helping too, but I mean I am really really. Let me spray, I just got a new water bottle at the beauty supply at the professional Beauty Supply, and this gives me the how to say water in all the different languages. So I didn't really care what the bottle looked like. I just wanted a bottle so right now is it Poland and USA or plain sand volleyball preliminary, but you can see here how thin that was me yeah how thin my hair is. I mean it's really. You see right there see how bad that is. It'S really thin, so this is why I've been on the hunt for solutions, and I should show you this wig. I bought this wig a few years ago for Halloween and I washed it yesterday. It'S really a fun way, so it's good for Halloween, but ok. So in my quest for wigs or hair pieces, I have just been doing a ton of research and experiment demon. So that's why I bought this human hair wig. So I went back to Leslie's because I wanted to get another one of these. It is called a spandex dome cap, and I showed you this last week and I wanted to get to so I could layer it up to see if it makes it more comfortable. Wear it like a wig cap and my head is really small plus I don't have any hair really to worry about taking up space in the wig, and so I got a white one. That'S the only other color she had, and so I'm gon na double this up. So I went in and I tried on this really cute spiky synthetic wig. It was a brown it had gold highlights and it all came forward, and then it had like this faux hawk in the center, which was a little too extreme. I mean I like the rest of the cut the style. It was really cute, but it was itching. My head and it so badly. So then she had a long one that was a blend of human hair and said it synthetic and I put it on it, looked ridiculous because I look ridiculous with long hair, but it felt a lot better. So she showed me this and she said she'd just gotten it in and it's human hair hundred percent human hair and says the real collection hundred percent human hair of Indonesian origin and it was made in China so and she needs to be shampooed and styled. But this is the wig cap, it has the lace here in the front and like that I also ordered off of ebay. I got it for a really inexpensive price. It is a lace cap, synthetic wig, so I don't know we'll just have to see it shipped. Today, we'll just have to see how it is once I get it because I don't know if it's just gon na be too scratchy, but after trying on that synthetic mod and then the human blend and then trying this one on. I decided that I am probably gon na try to stick to human hair because it is so much more comfortable for me, I've got these two caps on and that might be too much it's starting to feel kind of tight. So that might not be the solution. Oh call me bubble hug. Like I say this: wig has a ton of hair, it needs a lot of trimming and I might even highlight it because it is so dark. It is a level 4 in the hair color world. A level 1 is black and a level depending on the color chart that you're working from it the color line it can be an 11 or 12. It'S like platinum, so for some reason in hair color, the darkest is the lowest number and the lightest is the highest number. So so you can see there's plenty of hair here in the front very generous, very silky. I mean it moves. It does not have a skin cap, but it real. I don't really think it needs it, because there's just so much hair, but here is the back see if you can see my other potential solution is going. Excuse me: it's going to be maybe I'll just loosen the tab inside there completely is going to be to wrap a bandana around my head, maybe put the skull of skullcap, I'm making upwards now, okay, the dome cap and then put a bandana around it and see. If that works, or maybe with this wig, maybe I can get away with just one of these dome caps, so I don't know that one feels tighter than this one. This one feels looser, which I like. I wonder if I can yeah this one's really tight hmmm. It'S only three dollars, so let's try this with just this. Don'T care and my order from wigs calm, of course hasn't shipped, because that one hairpiece I ordered is on backorder. Maybe I'll contact them and just say forget about that. Cancel that part of the order and just send me the headband and the products. So I thought this was a good starter wig for human hair and we'll just see it starting to itch. I tell ya: why don't they make these wig caps, so they don't itch, but I tell you the hair doesn't itch nearly as much as the synthetic. So you know the hair on my forehead. It feels really nice and soft because it's human hair. So here's the side back again and aside. I also stopped it on GNC and I got a bottle of the butt skin, hair and nails or hair skin and nails. I'Ve used that before because I'm almost out of my folic here I got these at Sally Beauty. Supply and it's a 30 day supply, I don't remember how much they were, but that's all I have left. I take it twice a day morning and night and using my tea, fertilizing, serum and just trying to I have to go, and somebody told me in a comment on my last video about wigs. She said that her dermatologist told her to not even bother with the Rogaine for women or the minoxidil for women, that it doesn't do anything and to get this stuff for men, but not the extra strength. I assume it's not the extra strength, so the problem is it's hard to find just the regular strength for men but feel like I'm from the 60s. What do you think anyway? I continue on and yeah I'll have to have any take your chance to this. I'M gon na shampoo it and comb it in the. I usually wear my hair this way because of my cowlicks. That'S usually how I wear it so I'll probably just go ahead and shampoo it and stick it on the on the wig head and let it dry and go from there. So you know, even though I'm on maintenance - and I had my fun day yesterday - may have to have a couple of extra cheat days during the fair and do damage control all right. Alright, take care of hey guys, I'm back so i shampooed Helen and blew it dry and that's all I've done so far. I shampooed it started blowing that dry and they on the mannequin on the head, wig the wig head and changed my mind, decided to blow-dry. It decided to blow dry it on my head, and this is what she looks like blown out now. I think I'm going to use the flat iron on it a little bit. I mean it's still going to need to be cut, it's still too long and full in some areas, but I'm actually thinking that this is gon na work out pretty well. Just gon na have to see hang on here. I have to check the temperature on this flat iron. I never use this for obvious reasons. That'S the thing I'm gon na put it kinda like right in the middle, it's a baby, less Pro and my daughter's use it. It hasn't been used in a while. That'S for darn sure, and I just got my comb like I always do. I do that this one all the time too. So that's no big deal in my world. My clients kind of have a game try to catch the comb before it hits the floor. If they can now that's just water, because it isn't completely dry down here and there's still some moisture in the hair, I think that once this gets trimmed up and shaped that I am really gon na like this, you know maybe keep it a longer style. Keep catching the wig cap, but I kind of like this Wis penis in here, and this was Venus here and you can see how shiny it is. I probably should put some heat spray on it. This is just it's white teeth. I present panthenol treatment for hair and skin by scruples. Really nice panthenol. Is it's not right? It'S not a silicone and it's kind of like a wax in a way, but it it's a humectant. It acts as a human tent for the hair too, and a humectant for the hair and skin. What it does is it actually draws moisture from the air and puts it into the helps the parent skin attract the moisture and hold it so, but when you live someplace like Las Vegas or here in Fairbanks, when they are both deserts, you don't have a lot Of moisture from the air to pull smaller, but so Wow really pretty nice and, like I say I think, once it gets cut, I think I am really gon na like this one. What do you guys think? And it was $ 45 $ 45 so and it feels so nice I mean look at that. You just I'll, probably start working down there fringe myself, because I'm pretty sure that I cannot manage trimming that without worrying too much about it. It actually feels kind of good right now, cuz, the weak APIs and some of the hair is still a little wet but um. You know, and I could even pull some of my hair out here too. Those are pretty. They aren't too far off of the color. So I could pull that back farther all right. Okay, guys I've just been playing with this a little bit with my flat iron, and I just trim the bangs just a little bit and I don't want to get too crazy and sorry for the camerawork just kind of. Maybe I should hey guys it's me and I know that this still needs work, but I was just playing with my flat iron and just kind of messing with it. I turn the bangs just slightly, but - and I need to put some actual styling product in all I used was that panthenol, so here's what it looks, can you see from the side and from the back just messing with it a little bit? No hairspray, no gel or any kind of hold product on it. So and, like I said, I know these still need work, it's kind of flippy and goofy looking, but I have to say it's actually kind of fun having some hair to work with now. Of course, the downside to a human hair wig is if it's raining out or humid out. You know your style. Isn'T gon na stay in tact, just like you know if it was growing out of your head, but for $ 45. So far I'm pretty impressed and then I'll have Vinnie help me with it, and you know maybe take this just a little bit shorter and maybe play with the highlights and maybe I'll order. Another short human hair week, I'd like to get a nice extension or you know a topper piece, but those are so dang expensive. You know I could probably just get a wig and cut out a part.
