Hi, it's amanda welcome to my channel, i'm back with another ingredients review video for the last year in change. Before i kick off a new brand. In my bob123 series i like to introduce some of the ingredients you will find throughout the collection in my ingredient series. I cover only a very small amount of ingredients per video and that simply because anything more would get really boring basic facts on what they're good for and so far, i've been able to avoid repeats, which is pretty great, and on that i have covered quite a Bit so far, and there is so much more to cover and that's all the more reason that brands that load garbage in my opinion into their products really have no excuse. But i digress. I think i've never actually used that term before i'm not entirely sure what it means, but i think that makes sense, but i digress by the way. My bob123 series is my blackboard brand series only where i do three wash day reviews three styles and i offer three different company facts per video and just to note, if you are new, i only test out and review products with clean ingredients, and i judge clean As those not containing ingredients with health hazards or toxicity warnings, or what i consider to be useless, fillers and i've been challenged on this whole fillers thing before saying, i didn't understand what a filler was so to avoid that comment again to me, a filler is something That serves little to no purpose or might fill a purpose like a thickener, but that's it, whereas you can find another ingredient that can thicken and provide another benefit. You'Ll find ingredients like that in like plant life ayurveda and the like. These judgments on the ingredients are made based on my own independent research from as a reliable source, as i can find note that a lot of benefits and even dangers should there be any, are very often based on anecdotal evidence, as there are relatively few scientific experiments On many herbs, spices and plants, criminal, as it may seem, and despite their massive distribution, hair products are not properly regulated for safety. So often i try to be more discriminating when it comes to, for instance, chemical compounds that are used in products that may carry a safety warning. Many of them are safe, but only under a certain concentration and since no one's regulating that threshold. Who knows if it's being briefed so sometimes i will often just discount something based on his potential toxicity or bodily harm? Should the company have decided to breach said threshold? Let me move on, though, for a growing list of ingredients and their functions in hair products visit. My website uptightcurls.com, i recommend you check out the ingredients tab and the no list and my glossary for general reference. The brand i'm covering right now is curl origin. A relatively frequently requested brand at this point in this video i'm going to introduce just five in green five ingredients and, after this be sure to drop by my first review video and take a look if you haven't done so already. I have listed in the description box the specific products i'll be covering in my review, aka, the ones that i bought during black friday, but my ingredients reviews always pull from the full scope of ingredients across a brand and for those of you who like to have Numbers the brand carries 101 ingredients across 30 products, approximately. That is the count based on when i am making this video that can go up and down based on you know the company's uh whenever their business plan first up is maracuja extract, otherwise known as yellow passionfruit. Its main benefits include moisturization and anti-inflammation, it's incredibly rich in linoleic acid, actually being one of the best sources of this fatty acid on the planet. Linoleic acid plays an important role in supporting skin and hair health. Maracuja also serves as an antioxidant, which means that it helps combat free, radical damage from environmental factors. It'S also a great emollient rich in vitamin c, calcium and phosphorus number two is oatmeal. This is rich in fiber vitamins and minerals and lands. The benefits from these properties to your hair, it nourishes and also is seen to strengthen the hair strands, helping to prevent split ends and aiding in length retention. It further specifically is shown to improve elasticity which again further protects against breakage when your hair stretches instead of just snaps all the better number. Three is silk peptides. The main benefits include heat protection and breakage protection. They provide a film which works as a natural barrier. Against external aggressors, such as pollution and potential weather irritant, and they also improve the hair smoothness and boost its natural shine, number four is watermelon seed oil, also known as kalahari oil high in magnesium, zinc, vitamin d and and fatty acids. Also, if you go to uptight, curls.com and navigate to my ingredients list, you will find a section where i do talk about different minerals such as magnesium and zinc from the mix of properties in the kalahari oil. It seemed to promote hair growth and to deeply hydrate the hair. It also has antioxidant properties and is a light oil, so it shouldn't weigh down your hair number. Five is chocolate extract. Chocolate is also rich in magnesium. It contains high levels of antioxidants. It can also promote your hair's natural ability to shine and it is seen to nourish the hair strands. So that's the end of today's very short list. I am going to add these to the ingredients list on my website, so you can check there for future reference and normally i do like to put out these ingredient reviews before my first review, but that just didn't happen this time and i just want to note Having used these products for a washed it already, i do find that their ingredients work together into a relatively mild formulation. I thought all the products were very mild. I didn't experience a lot of shine, but my hair does respond well to products that provide shine. So my hair can be shiny. It just wasn't that much this time around, none of the products have wowed me so far outside of their incredibly pleasant smell. I still have two weeks to test out the products though, but i have in the past come across collections that did grew on me over that three week. Time frame. So, let's see how it goes be sure to tune in for weeks two and three and we'll see how it all works out. Meanwhile, it's always great to discover and try out new clean brands. So thank you to everyone who encouraged me to use these products and also it's worth noting that while these products haven't wowed me, they have wowed a lot of other people, so it really just depends on your hair and how they work with them. I will try to keep these ingredient reviews coming and thanks for tuning in, if you like my content and haven't done so already. Please consider subscribing like comment and share and i'll talk to you in my next one thanks and have a good one.

Melle Sol: Maracuja (pronounced mara-koo-yah) is what they call passion fruit in DR and a couple of other Caribbean Islands. Passion fruit has many different names in the Caribbean but its the same fruit. In PR we call it parcha, in Haiti it's called grenadine. I've been adding passion fruit oil to my DIYs for a while now. I allay bought curl origin over BF and have used sporadically... it's ok... nbd
