I'M Brinn I'm Hannah and I'm Jade welcome to Eastern regal hairdressing in London and today we're going to share with you some industry tips on how to do your hair at home. Today, I'm going to show you how to blow-dry short layers, so you're going to need a hairdryer, I'm using one with a nozzle to get a really smooth, smooth finish a heat retaining round brush a comb and some products, I'm using Kevin Murphy, bodybuilder mousse for maximum Volume and some nourishing oil young again by Kevin Murphy, so to start gon na shake this through, and this means you just need to apply to the roots section by section, and this is going to give us maximum volume just come through just work. Your way through. In inch-wide sections, then I'm just going to apply a single drop of the nourishing all young again simply through the EM. Keep those ends nice and smooth, because you want volume at the roots, we're not applying the oil anywhere near those. We don't want that to weigh it down and just comb product screws and now to blow dry. For me, I find the best way to get maximum volume is actually to start here at the temple and work your way around. This is where our heads naturally are flaps, so we're building width and height into this area here and round through the crown keep everything cares quite flat. Then this makes the rest of it look nice and full. So I'm going to start with my first section: the drop shut away, the rest of the hair, keep everything below the temple flat and then just using a brush lifting the hair away from the scalp. So that sections done now, I'm just going to move my way around the head in a horseshoe section, really from Temple to Temple, for pushing the hair away with the brush, keeping everything below the temple flat and then lifting this first section up and away from the Scalp, so you can see that a blow-dried, what I call my horseshoe section all the way around I'm just going to continue now blow drying the top section. And then, when I get to the front I'll show you a little tip to get the maximum volume in your fringe when I'm blow-drying the crown area, I'm bringing the section forward so that it sits back on itself. This will give you maximum volume in the crown, depending on which way you're parting sits, naturally always flowed right in the opposite direction, which seems a little bit strange, but it's the best way of getting a really nice sweep on that short front layer. Also for a much more natural finish growing, all the hair forward with no partying no definite party will just give you a maximum modern and fresh finish. Okay, so I've blow-dried the whole of the top section. Now we just have this under section left to do, and a great time-saving tip is to literally blast the underneath, and this will give you a really soft to shovel finish, because no one will know, because this is so beautifully blow drive through the top. And this is how we blow-dry short layers:

Easy Plant Based Meals: This tutorial works great for me. I have gone back to it for years and my hair always looks good when I follow it. I use much less mouse, but follow the rest.

tdbailey61: Thank you, just got my hair layer 4 days ago and I'm struggling with this style. This video will be my go to

Liz Goodman: This was a good video, but it would have been great to get a shot of the finished look!

Evelyn Reyes: What do you do for less volume? I have lots of hair and its very thick

MsDonzarella: I'm a hairdresser and would never dream of doing this to a client!! Clients are paying for a blow dry not a blast which they can do at home! Extremely bad practice

Raeinez Martinez: why dry the nape last? The nape and fringe area are what dries the quickest so not doing them first gives them the chance to get kinky and frizzy?

Natalie Martinez: You can't rough dry the bottom half on a client with curly hair. They'll end up with a ball of frizz.

Kala Dwarakanath: Just curious as to why you start with the top and do the nape area last. I like this idea.

kerry lavelle: Wow fantastic really informative and useful and great teacher X ❤️

Lady Croft Bayonetta: i know from my hairdresser that for having a good blow dry you should start from the back of the head and underneath

Kala Dwarakanath: Isn't she using too much of the mousse?

Joyce Oxfeld: Now this is my style I am working with now.

Monica Soza: So you blow dry the bottom last?! I just learned a new tip. Thanks!

Keto Lifestyle & Vlogs with Alvina Rayne: Would be nice to see the final shot of the front. And that was a ton of mouse, my hair would be so greasy feeling if I used even half of that. For me one of those stripes would be PLENTY.

AllieDahlia: was anybody else afraid for that poor girls head? lol

Barb Butler: I wouldn't consider her hair short. But... Very nice job.

Janet Barcelo: if you don't show the finished style, we don't know if we like it

dgmlmax: What is her haircut called? Or at least tell me the details of the cut. Thanks!

Giedre: I think she didnt realize that its not a doll´s head.

GhostlyInsanity: Bruh my scalp felt that hard body

terrence hardy: that bottom looked liked ruffed up shit dont do that future professionals stick to your basics and stick to your technique you dont need speed to have a fully happy returning client

Yolanda F: Isn't that a defuser not a reg at home blow dryer

Kathleen Iaquinto: So many videos now just show a blank screen with sound.

Angel Struess: kindof worked for me :/

monkeygirl43: is that short hair?

Jacqueline S: Her hair is not short.

BitchySarcastic Mom: How the hell is this short hair?!?

Reynaldo Arriola: ???? where is the result??????

shirley rogers: not short hair.

Georgiana Neculau: Industry tips??:))) I wouldn't be surprised if you lost some customers after this video. Awful advice. Do you actually charge money for that??

Kala Dwarakanath: Too much product!

Julie Mcdowall: Could do better myself .that looks terrible
