Okay, guys welcome back to my channel and, as you can see in today's video, I am bringing you this super fun. Beachy wave look so years ago. I posted this video on how to get like super smooth, sleek hair, and I was starting off with hair that I literally had slept in and a lot of people once it watched the video they were like. Oh, I watched this video because I thought you were going to show us how to get that texture and I was like - and I thought that video was so funny, because obviously you guys wanted something that was just really easy and effortless. So the other day we're just talking about like what videos we were going to be recording for the next month and Adam suggested like why? Don'T you do like really messy fun like beachy wave? Look you've never done that and I was just like yeah really having done that, I mean. Obviously, in the summer a beachy wave looked like you can't go wrong right, but I feel that it is extremely on-trend right now. It'S almost like the new 80s perm, but it's almost kind of like this slightly wet look slightly kind of really lived in texture, which I absolutely love. I think it's super flattering on everyone. I'M really excited to show you how I get this. Look, I'm going to show you what products I used to get this and then even going to tell you my little formula for making your own sea salt spray at home. My hair naturally has a lot of waves and a lot of texture that I end up, blowing out and flat ironing and all that stuff out. So obviously, the easy way for me would be just like letting my hair air dry, putting a little sea salt spray, and I would be done. But what I wanted this to be about was like to show you, even if you have like really smooth hair or if you have really like straight hair, how to get this look. So I'm actually going to do this. Look on my hair after it's been blow-dried. So you can really see how to get that wave and texture into your hair. So for this look aside from my DIY is sea salt spray? I'M going to be using all East alum products. You know just how much I love these products. They are salon-quality for a fraction of the price and because they love us so much. I have the 50 % off link in the description box down below and all right without further chatter, let's get into the tutorial. So I'm starting off with hair that I've blown out this morning, so the first step is to kind of get the hair a little bit more like gritty and a little bit of texture to the roots and almost so that it has this kind of like lived-in Sort of look so first, I'm going to start off with the e salon above the clouds and volumizing this, and so what this is going to do is just add a ton of volume because we are going to be kind of wetting, the hair and scrunching better. We don't want it to just look kind of like wet and like more flat that much and I love the way this stuff smells and the beauty of this product is. This is obviously meant to be used on the roots, but I love the texture gives the rest of my hair, but obviously this still just looks like a messy kind of blowout and obviously we want to go in and give it much more of that. Beachy book and now for the next step, I've gone ahead and just made my own assault spray and all it is: is 1 cup of water, 1 teaspoon of salt and about 1/2 teaspoon of your favorite oil. I'Ve just gone ahead and used coconut oils. This aids, in a little hydration for your hair. I love that it's something you can easily make it home. There are ton of products out there that you can buy. Also, if you want to make your own there's a figure, this is easy enough. I am going to do it to play. The coconut oil also gives it kind of glisteny sort of effect, free, even with the water and kind of salt like set and dry into your hair. There'S still kind of that oil lets give it that glistening look. So I'm just going to go ahead and wet my hair with it. So then you can go ahead and scrunch it with a blow-dryer to just dry it up and kind of set it into that shape, or you can just kind of let it air dry. If your hair has a little bit of natural texture like mine, does you can kind of just like let it air dry and kind of, let it do its thing to get a little bit of hold on this, but not weigh it down with, like kind of Like the water effect, I'm going to go in with the get lifted, root spray. So again, I'm going to do it to the roots, but I'm also going to just spray it directly on the hair, and it gives it a little bit more of that like wild, crazy hair. So right, when you feel like your hair, is setting and is dry enough, these pieces in the front I like them to be kind of like wavy and messy, but I always feel like they're kind of like a kinky wave so around the face. I kind of like to go in with a flatiron to give it just a very kind of natural wave pattern, and so what we're going to do is not like the traditional where you like, try and curl your hair. This is we're going to kind of you're kind of just going to ribbon effect, the hair on each side of the flat iron. To give it almost like an S shaped pattern. If you want, you can also part your hair a little bit differently. It just adds to the crazy volume and just doesn't like us put together as when it's like really just kind of parted in the middle and if you'd like, and you don't feel like you have enough volume, you can always grab too few sections of hair and Go in and tease a little bit under and you can do that because, with this texture, obviously you're not going to really tell that it's been teased a little bit on this side, so this is just a really fun laid-back summer beach. You look, I mean I feel like the beachy hair has always been in in the summer, but I feel especially now. It'S almost like the modern perm slash this kind of lived in texture, alright, guys, I hope you've enjoyed this look and if you like, more hair styles kind of like this, please give this a thumbs up. It helps me understand what videos you guys would rather see me do, and I've left links to all the products that I've used, including the recipe for my sea salt spray. I'Ve left all of that in the description box, so go ahead and check that out. If you missed that in any part of the video, so anyway in love, you guys so much. I hope you're having a wonderful summer and I'll see you in the next video bye.

River PNKW: This is the easy, actual effortless beach’s waves tutorial I was looking for✌

katie marston: Love that look! So easy to do please please do more easy go to day to day styles xx

Vivien Leigh: I just want to say that a big reason why I like your channel so much, apart from the fact that I learn a lot, is your tone and attitude. There's a humbleness that's so rare nowadays and you're not "loud" like so many YouTubers are. It feels like a conversation in reverse to being run over by a train with a big ego. Each to his (her!) own, but I like this. Thank you <3

Maggie's Mama: Love this video! Love your hair! ❤️ And thankyou for the sea salt spray recipe! ❤️

Jean Marie: This look is so pretty! Perfect for me with a natural kinky frizzy texture in my hair.

Jennifer Miranda: This look is perfect for the beach or pool, when you get a lot of frizz from humidity. I have natural wavy hair and these places are no no for forcing us to keep hair smooth and straight. This tutorial helps me know what to do to shape my hair in to a look that doesn't look bad. Do you have any recommendations for what to use for us coarse wavy hair to try to maintain wave without drying with too much volume as mine does? As my hair air dries, it increases volume. I want to be able to tame it.

40bdg: Love it! You look great with your hairmin beachy waves! But then again, you always look gorgeous!

Lynn Dels: I love it. Need more hair videos for sure. I have the same texture and I like that you gave a DIY recipe.

Cnfb Rod: As always the realist! You have saved me so many times with my hair! Xoxo

Lori M: Thank you so much! My hair is naturally wavy with a tighter curl underneath in the back. I always feel like I have to smooth out my curl and end up over doing it. Especially with the humidity the south brings, this may be a good answer. Can't wait to try it tomorrow.

BeautyByChels: I love this! I have been doing this lately without the sea salt mixture but I'm definitely going to try it - i think it makes it look so much better, at least on you haha

Shelley Sinner: I'm trying to learn more about protein vs. moisture, but what I'm finding has to do with more natural/ethnic hair. Would you please do a video on how it applies to blondes (structure of the hair, what is protein, what is moisture, products to use, ingredients to look for, etc.)? Thank you for all your fabulous videos! You're my fav! Also I'm going to have to purchase that Charlotte Tilbury lipstick some day!

Kelly Smith: I've been subbed to your channel for quite some time, and I just have to say....you get more and more beautiful!

I was hoping you would use Monat products because it came out with a new curl cream and I thought you would show how to use it. How does eSalon products affect the hair compared to using Monat?

Irena Poe: love it!

L Davis: What do you tone your hair with!? I love love love your color, placement and everything, it's stunning!!!

mel i: i usually don't comment on videos but girrrrrl you look bomb!! with your hair to the side and your bronzed skin omg

Pika Bamboo: would this spray be good for every day use or maybe one to two times a week or would it cause hair to break bc of salt?

Pippy68 P: Your hair looks bloody AMAZING like that. I've naturally wavy hair so this was really helpful. Your so beautuful i just want to smash my mirror. Lolololo. Great video

dawn rhinehardt: Makeup tutorial please! You look gorgeous!

MimiCoolWhip5: Gorgeous and glad its so easy to make! Would love if you would do a makeup tutorial for this look in this video! Wondering what the brand name of hair color thats tailored to each person you recomended before, was it esalon as well?

Renee CA: My hair has natural messy waves, but looks like a hot mess if I don't do it, lol! So over straightening it all the time-thanks for the great idea, I'm giving it a try!

Austin Bryce: I didn’t even recognize you at first! Your hair looks so bomb! You look stunning

Tiffany Munsey: Gorgeous!!

Sofia E: Hey Sylvia! I was wondering if you could talk about keratin treatments? Does it reduce curls? I have curly hair but it's texture is smoother so I know the perm that's usually used on "afro" hair texture would be too harsh. I really want to reduce my curls to at least waves, any advice? tysm! (:

Raspberry: You look gorgeous ❤️

Gipsonfam: You makeup in this video is gorgeous! And so are you! Please share!

Emily Kneib: Such a pretty look!! What lipstick are you wearing?! I would love a video on this makeup!

Kristina McKown: I'm looking to recolor my hair, and I love this color! I have neutral skin tone, pretty similar to yours. What color is this?

Jonna Lundberg: I'm attending my cousins wedding next weekend and i'm thinking of doing this look. I have sort of a long bob (shoulder length), kind of the same wavy hair to begin with like yours - also tends to get flatter on top and in the front.. i'm just wondering if you have any tips for me to make the volume last all day and evening? I just feel like i always loose the volume about tre hours in and therefore i most of the time end up just putting it up in a bun. However - this is a wedding and I feel like I should put more effort into it than just put it up in a bun.. hope you understand what i mean. :D
