How to do a mohawk like Kaylin Garcia for straight hair

Hey everyone: what's up, it's a girl, Ashley and it's been a long time, but I'm back and I'm going to be doing this curly mohawk hair tutorial. I suggest this hairstyle for a photo shoot or even if you just want to try something different. My hair, this hairstyle, took about 30 to 40 minutes to finish course that will change depending on how much hair you have. We need some pretty small size, perm rods, probably about 30 of them, actually got these Arno's back in elementary school. You will need a sectioning clip, it's some type of styling cream. The one that I use today is in Moroccan oil, hydrating styling cream. You will also need a comb, a strong holding hairspray in this video, I'm using this Kevin Murphy, strong, hold hairspray and it works very well. You also need a spray bottle flow of water. I got this one from Dollarama for a dollar, but you can just empty out any hair spray bottle or any kind of spray bottle. You will need about five or six hair elastics. Depending on how much hair you have and you're going to need a ton of bobby pins, this is Magda Tory, so first you're going to want to start with some clean hair and just brush it out the longer your hair, the better the style will come out. Nice to do this hairstyle when my hair was out to my, but my Mohawk was so much curl hair and a lot higher, and I would say that this length of my hair right now should be the minimum of anyone. Doing this tutorial clip up the top half of your hair first, so that you can work on the bottom. Half you're, basically going to make a mohawk out of ponytails down the center of your head, make sure all the ponytails are evenly spaced so that when the Mohawk is up, there'll be no holes in it. Depending on how thick your hair is, you should have around 68 ponytails going down your head. If you have thinner hair, you may need to get some extensions or something to fill in to make it a little more voluptuous. The parting on the side of your head can be visible or discreet. This is really up to you, make sure you're using a fine-tooth comb or even a toothbrush, with hairspray to flatten down the sides of your hair as much as possible. I forgot to film myself using the Moroccan oil styling cream, so all I did was rub it in my hands and then finger comb it through my hair. This will make the curls come out more smoother. Now here comes the fun part. Take the medium size, perm rods about the thickness of your ring finger and start putting them in your hair, starting at the front use sections that are about a centimetre or a little less for sections. If it's bigger, the curls won't come out as nice and you can make the sections smaller also just make sure you don't run out of pair rods. I chose medium size perm rods, just because I feel that, what's the best to have in the front and the rest of them, you can just mix up in the back, make sure your hair is dry, especially if you have thick hair if it's wet, and you Do this, it won't become curly overnight. They'Ll, take much longer to dry, once you're done putting in the perm rods and mist your hair with water all over and have a good night's sleep. This may be a little uncomfortable, but trust me it will be all worth it. There is no maximum time to have your car mods in. If you don't want to take them out right when you wake up and more closer to your event or date or whatever you can do that as well, just make sure you have about 30 to 40 minutes. To finish the hairstyle make sure you take out the perm rods gently, you don't want to create any split ends or ripped hair. I don't know if any of you noticed. My hair lines on the side are different right now, as the rotor in this video. That'S because I had to redo the whole entire first half of the video due to being out of focus, don't worry about any curls that may have not come out as clearly as you of light you're going to clean up all these curls anyway. So it's not going to be visible. If you want to, you, can use a curling iron to touch up the curls now separate the curls with your hands, just to have more volume, and just more curls in general, create more volume before pinning the curls. You can back from them if your hair is really long. You can also just use your hands to backcomb the hair. I used to do that with long hair and it worked amazing. Now take your bobby pins and start pinning it down and shaping it into a mohawk. This part does take a lot of practice. If you have longer, hair is a little easier to make a high mohawk. I'Ve also created the beat version of this tutorial. So keep your eye out for that just spray it with my hairspray, and here is the final. Look. You try out this hairstyle. Please send me a picture or tag my Instagram and I'd love to see how yours turned out thanks for watching and I'll see you in my next video
