Hey everybody: this is shanita, i'm back again with another video. This is a wash day. I have already started the process, so i think what i'm going to do today is do sort of a mix it up with my uh products today. That way, not only do i get a chance to use up some of the things that i haven't used yet, but you get a chance to hear about and see some other brands, and i can try to use up some of these products. So this one is all over the place. I don't know what it's going to be entitled, but i have several products here from several brands that i'm going to show you that i'm going to be using first of all, i've already shampooed and conditioned i deep conditioned with opulent hair essentials. Do the dew is the deep conditioner that i used today and i didn't come on to record um my demonstrating that and putting it on because you've seen it so many times. Unfortunately, when i realized that i wasn't going to be able to record any of it because i used it all up, i've used it twice already. So i believe this is the third time, and so you know how i go through conditioner. I glob it on. So it's only right that this one is um used up at this point. I selected it overnight actually, and it was wonderful this morning, just fantastic. I was hoping it wasn't going to be too much uh, moisture and i'd get some high growth fatigue or that it you know it does have some aerobic items in there, and so i didn't want it to be too strengthened. It was perfect, absolutely perfect, and so i am going to proceed with using the leave-in conditioner from a curl of essence. This is that aloe matcha green tea, one that i keep hearing is so so good, so i'm finally gon na use this one and i am going to use the hair butter from kinky tresses. I haven't even shown this here. Have i i don't remember showing this. I did a order with um a beauty supply company and they threw this in free, and somebody had asked me if i'd used it before and i have used it when i first first was natural, and so i remember loving all the products i did go through And use them all, but i haven't done any on this channel, so i'm so thrilled to be able to use this so that you guys can see it, and i also am anticipating. I want to use one on the other side, a different um cream butter on the other side, but i just don't know if that would be fair, because my hair is so many textures. So i carry a lot of frizz on both sides, but one side more than the other, no matter which products i use, and so i don't want my hair to be um. I don't want it to be drastically different and i don't know if using two products are going to affect that. So i am all right, i'm gon na do it i'm gon na. Do it for you guys, i'm gon na do the hair butter on one side and i'm gon na do the moisture pro triple butter heavy cream from she sent it on the other side. I showed this one back in my stash when i first started the channel back last well january, or so so this one showed up, then i literally just took the plastic off, so this has been in my stash over a year just opened it no idea still Smells good, and so this is what it looks like filled to the top. I love she senses deep conditioners and leave-in conditioners. I haven't had the best of luck with the stylers and the moisturizers. Well, they moisturize very well. Don'T let me take that back. They moisturize fantastically. They don't give my hair a lot of hold and definition, so it is something i would have to retwist after a couple of days. So i anticipate that this time and it's okay, so i'm gon na use both both of those and then i'm going to use a sealing oil from unicurl. So when i say this, one is all over the place, it is all over the place. I do have several brands that i have shown you guys that um i really should be using. I mean i can think of several brands right off the cuff that i showed you that i haven't used, but these are for sure that she scented one is older. Okay, it is what it is: i'm gon na do it. I'M gon na do this and i'm gon na use all of these products and kind of mix it and match it and see how it goes. So i'm getting ready to um apply the leave-in conditioner, because i just rinsed out that deep conditioner and that was fantastic. Sherry reminded me about it the other day how good it was, and i was like you know what i got that i need to use up, and so i decided to do that this time, and it was all that so, if you haven't seen my opulent hair Essentials, uh video, then i'll i'll, try to remember put it down there, you guys when i am editing. Okay, here's what that leave-in looks like to anybody who has not seen it. It is very, very soft. It literally feels like soft butter. Soft warm butter, and so i am going to be generous with my leave-in as i typically am. This has so much slip. You guys, oh my gosh, it's so smooth going on and it feels magnificent i'm going to cover my entire hair with the leave-in first and then come back and do the styler stylers in this case, but just like with my deep conditioner, i made sure my entire All of my strands are covered with the leave-in, not so much that it is just mushy and gross, but just so that i can feel it, and this is extremely smooth going on. I don't know well, i know you can't feel it, but i hope just from looking at it, you can just see like the slip is out of this world, and i see why so many people love it so much and i'm glad i got a chance to Try it so if you are thinking about getting some of this for um black friday, i haven't used, but two of her items. I have an entire uh stash of them that i bought earlier this year. Well, maybe about september october. No, it was earlier than that because i placed another order in october that actually just got here the other day um, and so i've got quite a bit of that. I need to use, but i've i've not heard anything bad about the products. People tend to love them, and so, if you are anticipating or thinking about getting some, i really highly recommend them but know. You'Re gon na have to be a little patient with the shipping time. It is not the best, but that seems to be my luck with the products that i love the most. They don't come that soon, but when i finally get them, i always feel like they were worth the wait because they're so so good and i'm so glad i waited all right. You guys, i'm gon na go off and finish this up and i'll come back. When i get ready to start styling you all right, okay, i've got these all twisted up and, as you can see, i used too much product. Imagine that i did say i was gon na be generous with the leave-in but um it was. I was so generous that almost i feel like the moisturizer and the styler just slid off. So hopefully enough of it stayed that it'll, moisturize and seal in the moisture, but it did absorb in well. It had a lot of white residue on top, but slowly but surely it is absorbing inside. I know there is a temptation to uh, take a towel or a t-shirt or something and to wipe that off. But i don't wipe this off. I let it stay on. There, because, in a situation where it's a wash and go, then of course i'd wipe it off because it may dry and it will dry with the residue on top for this. I know that this is going to absorb in i've seen it do it way too. Many times it has so many moisturizing butters in it, i did top it with that oil, so it's just all gooey and juicy, and so when it dries all of that stuff will dry in it will take a little longer to dry and set in. But that's okay! I'D rather get a little bit more longevity out of it. I also try not to twist so tight. Normally, when i do my twists, i do them just like so tight that um it ends up really really shrunken, but the curls are really really smaller and defined, and so i tried to trying to loosen up my grip a little bit to just kind of give. It a little bit more uh elongation and maybe make the curls a little bit bigger. I don't know what we're going to get we'll see, but um this went super fast. Both sides are really moisturized already. It feels really really soft and so i'm anxious to see what we're gon na get when it dries. So i will be back in a couple of days and we'll find out, i'm back everybody and i'm almost done taking down these twists. These feel so so good. This is day two. They stayed up for two days. Oh, they stayed up for two days and i wanted to make sure they were completely dry plus i i just didn't have time to take them down so worked out. The kinky tresses side feels really good, really. Really good, i should have dabbed into those a long time ago. I know that i should have updated it. How long has been, and even that she said that i'm very very pleased. I don't typically get a whole lot of luck with this, but i packed it on and i feel really good about it. Both both sides are defined and shiny, and i am super duper excited to see how it's going to come out. So i can see right from jump the difference in how i twisted my hair. Remember i told you, i tried to twist a little looser and not just make them so so tight so that they wouldn't shrink up - and i haven't stretched this at all, and i can already see that it's elongated a little bit more. So i'm gon na go off and break these apart and style it somewhat and i'll come back. So i'm going to stop right here just so, i can show you guys this. I slowly took down these twists, so i can get the best definition out of it and again the she sent it side. I have not picked it at all. I just wanted to show you what was like freshly unraveled. I literally just took them and kind of slowly pulled them apart and already. I am already appreciative of what they look like. So i am going to take my pick and i'm going to hold my hair up and gently pull at the roots a little bit. I don't want to mess up the curls, that's on the end, but i do want to kind of gather the hair so that it has a little bit more volume at the roots and try to hide some of the parts which i don't really care about. That a lot of people talk about hiding parts and um. I don't want them showing a lot, not every one of them, but if i don't hide everyone, i am so okay with that, but i want to tell you that both sides of my hair feel fantastic. I actually think making these twists a little bigger gave them more volume. So the two things i was doing that was making them tight and preventing my lift from showing was doing them too tight and doing them too small. If you like, a lot of small curls, that's the way to do it, but if you want more volume and for it to be a little bit more elongated, i would say: do em! Oh here's one! That'S not even done. Do them a little bit bigger and not so tight, my hair on the sides that normally is frizzy. Even it looks a lot better, so i'm not going to play with this too much. I like the way it is pretty much like this i'll shape it up. A little bit, but i wanted to come and show you what it was like before. I even tried to do any um fluffing. Okay. So all done i'm not gon na fluff anymore, because i'll lose everything. I want to come back and give you my final thoughts on everything. Let me let you look at this here. Is the she scented side? How many videos have i come on and said i haven't had a whole lot of luck with uh. She says it's stylers. Well, this double triple butter. Heavy cream was like i'm gon na show you today, sis i'm gon na show you look at the definition i got. It is so so so so soft and it feels just so lightweight and hydrated, and here is the kinky trusses side. I haven't done anything with the back. I don't know what's going on there, but it too feels amazing, truly amazing. When i touch my hair, i honestly cannot feel a difference. It doesn't look any different. It looked like i used the same product all throughout my head, so let's just talk about these individually. So, let's talk about these individually, i did use the curl of essence: green tea, leave-in, aloe, matcha, green tea, leave-in with ginger and honey. As my leave-in, and for you all who told me this was fantastic, you're right, you're right! This is so so good. I globbed this stuff on because i didn't know how it was gon na um operate. It looks like a warm butter. You can look at it and tell how lightweight and soft it is just like it looks in here. That'S exactly how soft it is to the touch, and so i was thinking okay, my hair typically has a harder time. So i better put a lot of this in here, and so i did that and i did not have any trouble whatsoever with it being too much it looked like it was. I remember how it looked. There is no butter at all in this um leave-in, which again another surprise, because i typically say my hair likes butters. This whole thing is just it just all. My myths went out the window this wash day. There is aloe juice, distilled water, aloe, gel matcha, green tea, ginger sugakai, moringa, olive oil, vitamin e oil and germ oil plus. That is all that is in this leave-in. It felt incredible: it's not one of those moisturizers that coat the outside of your hair. It has ingredients in it that penetrate into your hair, hydrated, that's what being hydrated means the water and the properties go into your hair strands and get them nice and soft and flexible and feeling good. So this set it up for a great styling, all together, um. I'M not saying that this was the only thing. This was a wonderful wonderful base, and this just made me look at leave-ins a little different. This idea that it has to have butter. It doesn't like. You really want your leave-in to be now. It does have moisturizing properties, i'm not saying it's not moisturizing, it's hydrating and moisturizing. So it's everything your hair needs as a base and i loved it loved it. It will be used in a tons of other things with this brand and others um this kinky tresses that i have not tried in forever. So many people have asked me if i'd use this hair butter - and i said like at the beginning of my natural hair journey and i'm so glad i got a chance to try this. I was using this back in the day when i was using a lot of silicone products and i do remember getting a lot of frizz with this and it was moisturizing and it felt good. But i got a lot of frizz and um. Nothing like the definition that i have now so i used to say: okay. Well, it's okay! When i heard people use it yeah i like it, but it's not anything. I'M running out to get, and not only was this a lesson in what you used to use. May not have been the problem, it could have been you, it could have been your ingredients that was causing your uh hair to go awry and that's what i feel with this. This is fantastic. It is a great moisturizer to put on top of a leave-in. It has water mango butter, coconut oil, broccoli, seed, oil, aloe vera juice, bamboo extract. It also has shea butter emulsifying wax castor oil, argan oil, panthenol, acetyl alcohol. There are some preservatives there and some fragrance. I didn't think to smell it. Oh yes, i did. I remember it smells good smells coconutty um, but fresh, not like a coconut smell by itself. It'S mixed with something, and it smells really really good, but it is also a light butter. You know, what can you see it? I just feel like i have to show you hang on, so it is a very, very nice, medium to thick consistency, um. If you have hair that is not as textured. You won't have a problem with this at all. It is so creamy. You can tell there's butter in this just from feeling it. I can just feel the coating of the butter and the oil mixed together. It is perfect, it is a absolute perfect formulation. I love how the butters and oils are all mixed in there together and the ingredients are impeccable. This is the first brand that i used that i noticed that use broccoli, seed oil and i thought it was so interesting and i was wondering you know how would that differ from the other oils and i still don't know. But i know this is a fabulous product and for those of you who told me to go back and use it, you're right. This is wonderful, be sure you check this brand out. This butter is an all hair type sort of butter and it coats the hair. So so nicely it absorbs in, but it also leaves that nice moisturized coating on the outside. That'S going to give you some longevity with your product, so this will give you some moisture for a while. I know that this is going to stay moisturized for a bit and the she scented moisture pro triple butter heavy cream. I think this is the very last thing i bought from she scented. I didn't buy anything from she scented in 2020. At all. I had products left over from 2019 that i had not opened, and i only bought this because it said triple butter. It said heavy cream. I knew it would be great for type 4 hair. It also said for thick, coarse and dry hair that it hydrates, moisturizes and nourishes hair. It has takuma, kapuwasu and mango butter. She scented does use butter, they don't do shea butter. I don't think i've ever seen shea butter in one of their products they've gone to these other nice richer butters, and it says this is going to provide softness and moisture to very dry brittle hair. It uses those three butters to transform your hair. It provides moisture, softness and shine, penetrates the hair shaft to hydrate repair and restore hairs health and, along with those three butters, i see castor oil, olive oil, avocado oil. There is chamomile extract several extracts in here. It does have honey toward the bottom argan oil moringa seed extract. Of course i will put the um website to this brand down below, but my gosh. This was such a treat such a treat. It completely changed. I don't ever ever have to say that i haven't been able to find a good uh styler from she sent it anymore. This is it, ladies. If you have coarser hair and you've had that issue, thinking that um, they don't do stylers heavy enough for coarse thick hair, here's the one - this is wonderful. This is fantastic. Let me show you this look how little i used like just the size. I mean just the top just a smidgen, just rubbing my fingertips across and got enough product to use. That is the benefit of it being so um thick see it is thick to like you can feel the butter in it, but it's so moisturizing with those other extracts and oils in it. Um the butter is giving it a little bit of weight. It'S giving it a little bit more uh, it's gon na last, so that it holds that was a problem. I was getting tons of moisture with the products i wasn't getting enough hole and the products wouldn't stay. It wouldn't keep my hair moisturized for days. At a time, this changes the game. This is absolutely wonderful. It feels soft. My hair is nice and shiny. I'Ve got definition that held up through all of the usual frizz, and i am extremely happy with this very very happy like you can see through it. I don't have all those frizz spots, so this also taught me a lesson about fris those places where i talked about having frizz a lot of it. Is your hair not having the proper hydration? I thought my hair was just um. I thought it was hydrated, but just that my hair texture could not define on this side, and i mean i still do see frizz and i still expect that there is going to be some, but just coming straight out of this styling. Just the combination of all of this, the leave-in and the moisture butter, my hair has plenty of hydration plenty of butter, and thus it has plenty of definition. I really like both of these love them. Both, i would say, try both if you don't have either or if you have not um already. It was a great wash day and i also used the uni curls hair oil on top aloe and almond oil are both known to give your hair shine. So i have to give this to kudos as well, because i did use a couple of drops of this on each section before it twisted and it says that it's going to get illuminating shine. If you don't get a ton of shine with the products alone, then i'm gon na have to give this some credits, like i'm sure the butter did give it. Some butter does give your hair a little bit of a shine, but this was a nice nice oil. On top it has soybean oil, sweet almond, oil, aloe vera, oil, palm oil, vitamin e, coconut oil, rice bran and an essential oil blend very, very good. One like this is excellent for topping your hair a lot of these um. Most of the oils. In here i mean they're, fine on your scalp, but these are the ones that really really give your hair some shine. So to keep one like this around for topping your hair for a little bit of sheen would be excellent. There is zero residue on my fingers. Nothing oily nothing. I could go right now and touch my well. I wouldn't touch my face just because there's probably germs on my hand, but it's not, i feel extremely comfortable with touching anything at this point in my fingertips and know that i'm not going to leave any residue. I don't even have any to rub in my uh hands that left over. It was wonderful you guys. The products are wonderful. If these are not on your list, you have to check them out. I know that kinky dresses when i got them, they had a sample pack where you could buy their entire line in little sample sizes like this. So if you don't want to get the bigger items, but you want to test out some. That is a great way to go with this. That way, you can test out the shampoo and the leave-in and the deep conditioner but they're all wonderful. I can tell you that i remember that the rest of it was fantastic tons of slip and moisture and shine, and to get this whole set would be wonderful, you'd love it. Of course you all know she sent it. You know they have tons of lines. There'S a collection there for every hair type, every curl type, you're gon na love, anything that you get from them. So that's it you guys, if you have any questions for me whatsoever, put those down below. Let me know what you think of these products. If you've tried them before the brands in general, what is your favorite one from each company if you have a favorite from curl of science or from kinky tresses or from she scented drop it below or if you just love the brands in general, then just say That as well, but do leave some feedback in the comment section. I love hearing from you guys if you've never been here before. I hope you will subscribe. There will be more videos like this, and i did really enjoy breaking the wash day up and using like two or three four companies over the course of a wash day. It really helps me number one use some of those products and for us to be able to um just try different things learn different brands, because, typically, when we do a wash days, we don't always necessarily use all the products from our brand so know that you Can mix and match things and get a decent do and you can also come here for more mix it up type videos and then you can learn about several brands at once. I love having you here and i hope you will stick around and subscribe. I will talk to you guys in the next video like this video on the way out, and i will see you in the next one: okay, bye,

Lillian Davila: So pretty I am a fan of She Scent It. I love mixing different brands in my wash day. It’s always a great surprise when it works out. Great video

AquaSun 11203: Happy Thanksgiving, Shanita! I hope you and your family had a lovely and safe day of good eating! Your hair came out absolutely gorgeous Great review of products that I have in my collection, but have not used yet - except the Curl of Essance Matcha leave-in, which has reached HG status with me. I'm trying my best to refrain from buying hair products this BF...but so far no luck! I made a killing at CRN, Shescentit, and Ecoslay so far Can't wait to hear how you did overall

May LaVerne Barnes: Hi Shanita! Great hair products combo review! Your hair looks lovely! I look forward to using my Curl of Essance Leave-In and Kinky Tresses Hair Butter (sample size). I also like the Uniqurl hair oil as well as their other products.

MRS. W.O.: I really like kinky tresses, my hair stays moisturized for days. I have the green tea leave-in in my stash, and I plan to use it on my next wash day. I really enjoy these combination videos.

1922mistyblue: I was looking forward to seeing you mix and match. Please do this again. Kinky Tresses sounds Devine with the broccoli seed oil. Soultanicals Knot Sauce had it too. Thank you for reading the ingredients lists, they sound enticing.!!

Shante Hale: Looks great, after your twist dry for a day put them in a ponytail with the ends tucked under for a day and this gives you even more stretch and length ☺️☺️

Healy Means: hi shanita great combo of products you twists are SUPER defined and bouncy and shiny. the final results are WONDERFUL. the only part im concerned with hiding is the middle one, down the back. i try to remember to offset my plaits or twists, so i don't have one to begin with, but in case i forget, i do try to fluff/pick hair over the part. tfs

Geneva Campbell: I love Kinky Tresses, so moisturizing!!

CC H: This selection of products sounds superb. I'm getting comfortable ❤

Simone Barth: My curl of Essance leave in just arrived in Jamaica, can't wait to pick it up from my agent so I can start using it

Jasyoucan: I used the rice water dc from curls of essence and omg the slip on that thing I also picked up the milk and butter from kinky tresses 2.5 seconds ago lol

Jen G: I love to cocktail my wash day, idk I notice I get the most moisture when I layer different products from different brands .. also be careful with the shelf life of curl of essance , I’ve heard so many say they don’t last more then 6 months.

Dorthea Ratteree Harden: Love curls of essence.

Shante Hale: I enjoy the cakalious leave in from curls of essance I use it as a rinse out conditioner and it was excellent, there DC s are great,. She scent I have only used DC s I am definitely going to try to pick up some stylers on Black Friday and I have never used any thing from kinky tresses . I have always wanted to try them and some day I will , l just have so many butters already to get through.
