What'S good everybody thanks for tuning into today's video, we are young Maine girls. I am Mel in case you're new here and I am Chris Easter Amanda. Now we are sisters, not twins the same but different. We both have different hairs clearly, so we both want to show what would happen if we follow the same routine, but today we're doing it a little bit differently, although we mainly choose to diffuse because of the quick or dry results, the more volume the bouncier, the Curls we tend to get a lot of heat because a lot of people don't like to blow dry their hair. They would rather air-dry, but did you know, did you know air drying can actually be damaging to the hair as well? That is if it is being done incorrectly, but most build it see on that in a little bit. We'Re also going to be sharing our top tips so that you can air dry and get amazing results that are lightweight bouncy dry quickly and volume, because the bigger the hair, the harder they stand and without further ado, let's get to it, still not dancing people. The first step is to start applying our products. Our hairs are pretty wet right now, they're, not soaking, so that they're like dripping all over the place, but they have a good amount of dampness, which is going to be great to distribute the first product in this video. We are also going to be sharing some new products that we have been using to air dry from curl Smith. So we would like to think curl Smith for a sponsor in this video. You guys know how much we love and adore Crossman's products. So we're really excited to show you guys how these products have been working really well for us in their routines up. First, we are going to be using the air dry cream. This is a new leave-in conditioner from Crowe Smith. It is a leave-in conditioner. This would be the first product you want to be applying to your hair. This leave-in conditioner is probably one of the most silky sprout Everts, really silky. It'S just super super silky in the hair, which is amazing, so I'm only applying about a quarter. Size amounts not a lot and I'm applying a little bit more than that, because you already know my hair's coarser longer denser, so I need a little bit more product. She needs more. Jesus to something you need to consider is the more product you have in your hair, the longer it's going to take for your hair to dry. That'S why our hair dries super fast when there is nothing in it, but that's also the really nice thing about this air dried cream is. It is really light. So, although I am putting a little bit more than MELAS, I'm still not gon na take as long to dry as I would with one of my other regular crow creams. So we're going to go ahead and rake this through applying it distributing it evenly through our hair, and we also always recommend to brush through your leavens and your creams, make sure that it distributes everywhere and every curl gets some moisturization. So you're not left with some random frizzy areas. However, something to note, if you don't have texture similar to ours or if your texture is on the looser wavier side. Rush of your hair out, like we're doing here, may not work the same for you. If your hair is not wet enough, your hair actually needs to be more on the wet and dripping side in order to achieve those nice clumps. Now speaking of clumps, we're going to go ahead and clump our hair using our Denman brushes and Amanda's Denman brush she's. Actually removed some rows, which is actually better for her looser curl. It helps her to clump a little bit better because the more bristles there are, the more it can break up the curl. I have a tighter curl, so I'm using all seven rows and Amanda. You have four rows in the d3 we just removed some so moving on to our top region. What we want a lot of volume, we do not want a style that the parts in the hair no part but yeah, see how my hair is already split. Here. That'S a big no-no, because this will create more of a parting of the Seas. The hair will want to fall better, so I want to get rid of that. I'M gon na wet the hair back down in that area and I'm going to make sure that I'm working with no part - and you will see why this is gon na - give you a lot more volume and a tip if you have a stubborn part, is to Brush it in opposite direction, so, first brush your hair. One way then brush your hair, the other way and it's gon na confuse the hair. I won't really know where to go besides up, and this is why it is really helpful to separate your hair into section. The top off from the sides and the back so while working on the top, I always like to style upwards with my brush. Essentially, this is helping us get the best definition in the quickest amount of time, but my sister has a different technique for her hair. Being much longer, I like to grab smaller sections on a diagonal to ensure that I am not creating a part in my hair when I am brushing through with the Denman brush, although I am NOT lifting 90 degrees upwards, I am using the demin brush on a 45 degree angle to ensure that I don't get any parts and I still get an appropriate amount of volume. Oh we are prepped, we are styled. Something you want to look out for at this stage is to make sure that the hair already looks how you want it to so. We'Ve clumped our hair, how we like it it's already looking really good. It is extremely hydrated and it's still pretty wet now, depending on how wet your hair is. When you apply the leaving conditioner based on your preferences or your hair type, you do want to let your hair dry a little bit before applying your next product. Let'S let the cream sit in for a minute before we apply our styler as in our gel, so we can hold these results in that's gon na be very important. While we are air drying, here's why? If you just keep applying more more products to your wet hair one, if your hair is soaking and dripping you're kind of really diluting the product, which is going to be one a little bit wasteful and two, it may not give you the results that you want, Because certain products are not meant to be applied on soaking, wet hair, it's very important to read the label and actually Amanda. Let'S start our timers, the air dry process begins now, okay, so it has been ten minutes of air drying and we're going to apply our second product, which is a gel. This is Christmas, new Hydra, stuff, see jelly. This job will give you medium hold, won't be too crunchy. We'Re gon na ply this and we're to show you how we have been applying it. It'S easy to control; it won't completely run off of your hand, but it also is it too thick that it's hard to distribute in your hair to apply the gel? They are just using some crab hands as we like to call it. This is helping to seal the end, so you're still gon na get really good hold on the curl, but you're not applying too much product which could weigh your hair down. Although these products are really light and weightless again, the more product you have in your hair, the longer it's gon na take to dry. After all that, we both make sure to scrunch our hair to help encourage bounce, and at this point you should still be hearing some squish in your hair when you are scrunching it. If you are hearing that sound at this point of your routine, that means you have applied enough product on properly dampened hair, which is going to ensure that you are distributing the product evenly and that's it for products. At this point, we're going to let the hairs air dry now we really just got to sit and wait, but how can you do this so we're doing it quickly? How can you still have volume imbalance Amanda? What do you like to do? I do like to pin the top of my hair and my roots up with a clip, so I'm just gon na use an alligator clip and I'm going to lightly pin the hair. This is gon na make it so that my hair dries off of my face, which I usually prefer not only for volume, but just for you know, comforts exactly like Amanda said. Root clipping is great for encouraging volume at the roots when your hair is so long and heavy see. My hair is not as long as heavy I choose not to root clip instead, I just do little thanks. Excuse me, excuse me: it's like bringing it around, bring it around. So basically I'm moving my head. You don't want to be a statue if your hair stays in one position the whole time, there's not going to be any ventilation in your roots, which is going to cause it to be really flat. It'S also going to keep it wet for a long time. So I like to move the hair, I'm not shaking I'm swaying swing like that. Wait before we go finish air drying. You said something about how air drying can damage your hair. So why don't we let me and then no women? Yes, this is true. I'Ve done some research and researchers have found that there is a sub surface damage happening to the hair. When you air dry, it doesn't mean specifically, there is damage being done to what is called the cell membrane complex with a CMC. This is a special structure in your hair strand, made up of a mixture of proteins and lipids that keep the cuticle and the cortex together. So I guess essentially, when the hair is wet for a really long time through air drying, it disturbs those proteins and those lipids, and it can actually cause separation between your cuticle and the cortex, and only air drying can do this. This is unique to air drying, which is really bizarre blow drying cannot cause this kind of damage, but don't be alarmed you're gon na be fine. Just air-dry own kind by following these tips try to stay in a well-ventilated area. While you are drying your hair crack. A window open turn on the fan, make sure that there is air circulation. If you stay in one step, static room, it's gon na take a lot longer for your hair to dry, but you heard that right folks stay inside or proceed with caution because the weather matters, for example, if it is very humid outside, if it had just finished Raining or you live by water and there's always humidity in the air, you need to be very careful. Trying to dry or wet hair in wet conditions is only going to lead to a disaster, it will take longer and it will lead to frizz as well. Also, if it is extremely with the outside, it may be too rough on your hair. Just note that if you are going to air dry outside, it's got to be optimal conditions, we're talking little to no wind and nice cool, low humidity temperatures, for example. Right now, the weather conditions are beautiful is clear. Blue skies feels like two degrees: okay, maybe too cool and while you're at it don't touch your hair, please just hands off. If it helps put some gloves on, don't touch your hair, really, let it be keep it moving, so it dries quick, but don't touch it, and so, after all that yapping it's been 34 minutes. While our here is been air drying, so we're gon na come back and let you guys know exactly how long it's your fur hair to dry and come back with the results. Nearly two hours have elapsed, almost two hours and not to brag. But if this were race, I would my hair is like 95 % dry, pretty much almost fully completely dry. Well, how are you my hair is still a little damp, especially in this midsection. I'M feeling a lot of deafness. Still, my roots aren't as wet because I have been, you know, moving them around as much as I can, but I still have a lot of trying to do probably at least two hours, I'm going to stop you right there. You don't want that. No first of all, it's inconvenient inconvenient, I feel cold on it. You can't even do anything because your hair is so fragile. While it is wet, you can't touch it. You can't do anything. It'S gon na mess with it. It'S gon na stir the process making me more susceptible to frizz, so those of you guys who have hair like me who know the air dry struggle. I do still like to diffuse my hair during my air dry process. I know some of you might think. That'S cheating, but for those of us with long thick hair who still want to achieve that volume. I think that finishing off your style with the diffuser is really really really important and it doesn't keep you looking like a wet dog all day. So I made sure that I still air dry it for at least half the way. Like I said, only my midsection is still wet, so I'm going to go in with my diffuser. I really only focused on my mid sections, because that was the wettest. The reason why the mid lengths of your hair could stay so wet is because the ends of your hair are more porous than the rest, so they're gon na drive the fastest. The roots of your hair will start to dry because gravity is going to push the water downwards and when your hair is so long, it'll take forever for that moisture to reach your ends, so it just gets stuck in the midsection and stays moist. Let'S stop the clumps okay and that's it I'm done. I took the diffuser, took my hair for about 10 to 15 minutes now that definitely works for you, because you're you're so long and also thicker and you apply more product. But when you take a look at my results, it dried super quick because my hair is a finer, lighter texture. I didn't apply as much product because I can, because my hair didn't need it apply as much as you need, but also because my hair is naturally a lot more porous. You can see because it is super blond. This makes my hair lose more faster, so it did make my hair dry faster and now before it gets actually dry. We need to seal this all in so let's apply our finishing products. You really can't skip this step. You need to seal in your hair 1. If you have any crunch from the gel, it's gon na help to soften that au, which we do. It was actually really good hold from this product and you didn't use a lot of it, but because both of these products do have a lot of moisturising humectants ingredients, we need to seal it in with some heavy emollients occlusive agents. Ingredients ingredients that you find like oils, butters and silicones now curls with products don't have silicones, they are curly girl friendly. If you care about that, so that's really great. So today we are using the intense treatment serum from curl Smith, and the main ingredient in here is shea butter. You do not need a lot of this product, but you absolutely need to use something like this to seal all of that lovely moisture from your wash day in so this will provide long, lasting results and now for a little extra volume. You know if you're a little down from air drying, just fluff it up and in case you're confused. You only do this once the hair is dry because their hair is dry. Now we're fluffing it. What do you think? What do you think of Christmas new products? I have to say I am obsessed with the air dry even cream, and this is definitely one of my top favorite leave-in conditioners of all time. Today, a lot of the curls milk products are my sisters favorites. I hardly get to use them because of that. I can easily see myself using this a lot in my routine continue using it. It really is, and this one is mine, okay, whatever thanks here and before we close out this video. I just wanted to mention. You guys know that I love Christmas. Hold me softly' style bomb mixed with theirs to play for my spring and summer routines. It'S my Holy Grail and I have received a lot of questions about what the difference between the air dry cream and the style bomb is, and I have to say that the main difference is exactly what it says on this bottle. This cream is very, very weightless. So if you are someone who tends to air dry or has finer texture, you're going to really love the air dry cream or even like someone like me who wants to air dry but has really thick hair and doesn't want to have wet here for eight hours? That'S a really great option and I'd say the main difference between the Hydra style, flex, jelly and the styling souffle. Is that this one is a lighter hold. It so leaves a crunch, but it is going to again minimize that air dry time because it's not as strong, but I love the results from both lines. Both lines are great. They both have their advantages and it really just comes down to what you prefer. I myself prefer to diffuse over air drying just in general, so I have been using both these products interviews and the results are still excellent. You saw great results, it's just down to your preference, whatever you prefer, but again for eras. Our result, I think these are fabulous, of course, with our tips and tricks. It was a pretty speedy wash day. So I will continue with that me too. Just don't touch my bottle. Don'T touch my mom and on that note that has been air drying with Yamane girls. Thank you for tuning in to this week's video, we'll see you in the next one peace. I am Mel in case you're new here and I am Chris Easter, Amanda moist, very moist li okay, okay and for the record Amanda fully cheated because she is not cheating. It'S called getting good results. It'S a life hack, really

Gena Marie: Since I have high porosity hair, air drying never works for me! Must be because of the cuticle damage like you said. Love the results you both got!

Vonnie G: “The bigger the hair, the harder they stare!”. OMG I love it. I’m adding that to my “Big hair, don’t care!” mantra

Emily Vaquera: people with straight hair: “it must be so easy to have curly hair!!! you just get up and go”

Calina: Seester Amanda we all appreciate how much work you put into editing these videos!!!

GP Miranda: I just want to say THANK YOU. I started my curly journey last week. I was doing the CGM and was not happy with my results. I watched a few of your videos, TOOK NOTES. LITERALLY. My results were wonderful. I have a long way to go, but you are my go to for advice.

Epifania Sina: I love the banter and fun energy you both bring in your videos! Highly appreciating the facts you break down about the science behind our curl hair and what products work for different kind of curls. I have hair like Amanda's and I'm living for her methods! You girls rock! ❤

Sagrario Serna: I just watched this video and used this method. I CAN ALREADY SEE THE DIFFERENCE IN MY CURLS!!! My hair is softer, I have more volume, and now at the end of the day it still looks good! Thank you, ladies ❤️

Clair Alaman: So grateful for each of you sharing your experiences! Super helpful to see how much hair type affects things, rather than one person saying, "air drying should take 2 hours!". I have hair more like Amanda's so sometimes it can take 5 hours to dry... ain't nobody got time for that.

MiVidaBellisima: This whole process scares me. If my hair isn’t almost soaked, it’s already frizzing the moment I touch it

someone 101: Hello Mell !! Thanks girl for all the info you're literally saving my curls ❤ and Amanda you're doing an amazing job with how you edit the videos it makes them so enjoyable

Desiree Adrian: I’m SO excited to try that new Curl Smith “Air-dry cream” and “Flexi-Gelle!!! I absolutely love their 3 step system!!! Also, thank you beauties for actually explaining what the benefit/reason is for taking the extra rows out of the Denman!

TheFantastic4 JCKN: Hi Mell, I’ve been struggling with my 3A-3B curly hair. No matter how I dry my hair, there is almost never volume or curl at the roots and I always see frizz while diffusing and air drying . My hair looks more like Amanda’s, but I never get the same great looking results as her. I have just started my curly hair journey and was wondering if this was supposed to happen. Got any tips?

Rebecca Romine: Thank you for giving tips specifically for looser curls as well! They’ve been helping a lot. I like seeing all the seester videos!

Kayla Ferguson: You both are beautiful! Thank you Mel for sharing your knowledge of curly hair textures; you’ve expanded my ability to work with multiple hair textures. ❤️

Buttery Tomatoes: I am not a fan of diffusing so I love air drying! Great tips on waiting to put gel on after the leave in/curl cream! Will be doing that! Too bad my hair is already dry after washing today, will try next time!

Minna Uyeda: I’d love to see the seesters do a make up routine. I know you’re the hair gurus, but your make up is also awesome! Perhaps, an easy natural make up look. I love your eye looks, especially the mascara (super on point, length and separation), tell us your fave lip products and gloss colors and easy natural eye make up routines. Just my humble opinion.

Veronica Valencia: Thank you so much for your videos, they have really helped me with my hair. I have wavy hair, but your advice has done wonders for my hair. I’ve had a really hard time figuring out how to care for my hair without frizz until your videos. I’m so happy with my results. Thank you so much.

Olivia Shafer: I love air dry creams! Been using air dry cream for 2yrs and love it. Acts like a anti frizz primer too.

Yazmin: I am SO HAPPY thank you guys so much for this video and sharing your routine !! My hair has never looked this good❤️❤️❤️

Christine Horwath: I agree it’s amazing how much work you put into this channel even doing research for us I cannot imagine staying in one place for two hours I’ve never ever had a problem with hair drying I would even finger curl it the whole time and it was beautiful but now I cannot even get it to look curly without a diffuser I think it’s because I bleached my hair blonde double processed it w breakage is this why my curls have gone away???

Coin: Everyone: Wash your hands, don't touch your face Mel: dOn'T tOuCH YouR hAir

Alya Haura: Thank you Mel, your tips have been helping me a lot to embrace my natural curls and it's never been better it's rather hard to find products you recommend here but I just look for products with ingredients that you've explained in your previous videos. Love you xoxo

Joselin Garay: This is the reason why I got out of bed early today, You ladies brighten my morning and I am waiting for my curlsmith products to be delivered. I can't wait to apply these tips! Thank you so much

chicker2988: Dear Mell, I can't tell you how much your videos have inspired me to love my curly hair, take better care of it and put the curling iron down. I'm still on my journey, but your videos have made the most sense and given me the best guidance and explanations. That being said, please do a video explaining different types of curly hair (the 2s vs the 3s vs the 4s) and maybe some general hair care tips for each type.

Laura Cline: Wow, can we talk about how amazing Amanda's curly hair transition has been!? I mean look at those ringlets and volume!!

Gigi: YESSS! Super happy I found your channel rn, easily subscribed. I have neglected my curly hair for far too long and ya'll have encouraged me to EMBRACE IT. Time to start picking up these locks again! <3 Thank you for the helpful tips and showing us 2 different curly hair types.

Shawna Perry: Thank you much for sharing. I’ve had issues with getting my curls under control. After watching this video and following your suggestions my curls are amazing today. who knows what sleep will do to them ‍♀️ but I took a picture so I can remember what they can look like if I put in the effort and time. Thank you again!

Tameeka Hutchins: I love your energy. I been natural for years but within the last year or so I fell off and started straightening n went blonde. I was looking at old pics and started to miss my fuller healthier curls when my hair was brown and now been watching your videos for motivation. My curls are slowly coming back to coils. I’m happy. On my way to buy more products. Thanks ladies

FormerlyknownasPonti: Looking amazing, ladies!! Thank you for bringing us great tips with sunny smiles ❤️

Blessy Mannattuparampil: You guys have inspired and guided me to love my wavy curly hair... I mean I haven't left my natural curly hair in probably over a year. I've always blown out or straightened. What combo of products do you recommend for humid summer? I have very frizz prone hair

Candace Keillor: Brilliant! Yay!! This video answered so many questions I didn't even realize I had! Super useful!! See, this is why I love you two!

Minna Uyeda: Very informative. I’m a diffuser kinda girl. Usually airdry for 15-30 minutes, then diffuse the rest of the way. I haven’t tried curl smith yet, so that may be my next purchase. But in this Chicago spring, I really love the Aveda Be curly enhancer followed by Dippity go girls with curls gel, or my fave routine is Eva NYC mane magic products. First, prep spray, curl cream, then I either use Briogeo rice amino gel or the Eva foam. Thanks for all the tips. Semester videos are the best!

Elizabeth Guilford: I so agree with this video! I noticed a lot of breakage in my hair after starting the curly girl method and air drying all the time. I already had some damage, but my hair is way healthier after I started diffusing!

Sonya Valles: Thank you for making these videos! I'm learning so much! I'm a curly girl and my hair is changing, I'm excited to try these techniques to get more definition!

Julie Bruce: I get the best results when I air dry until it’s crunchy 30 min to 1 hour. Then I diffuse. It usually takes 10 minutes. Best of both worlds!

Jordan Karsten: Thanks for the product recommendations! I've been looking for products to use for my spring/summer routine, can't wait to try these out!!

Miriam Estrada: I'm new here and I just love you both. I thought I could only be pretty straightening my hair because I didn't know hoy to take care of my curls. I am just starting to learn thanks to you and I'm loving it!

Amber Torres: I have always hated my curly hair. It's so frizzy and thick! I'm now realizing I have been styling it all wrong for the last 29 years . I definitely need to follow your steps!!

Apexa: Texture Tuesday is something I look forward to every week. I always feel like I learn something new

Danny Casino: I found your channel about a month ago and have binged watch A TON of your videos but can I just say... Amanda you have gotten so much more confident in the sister videos!!! it’s so amazing to see that growth

Jennifer: I'm re-binging all of yalls videos! I LOOOOOOVE the curlsmith curl cream, it was the first Curlsmith product I tried and loved it! It blew my mind how wonderful it worked even on its own. Never before would I ever trust a cream on its own with my crazy head of curls. Now I'm addicted to this brand! I don't use a lot of products with protein but thinking I need to try them anyway! LOVE YOU SEESTERS!!

Hilda Figueroa: Thank you Seesters Mel and Amanda for this video tip of air drying curls. I have severe frizzy curls and my dry spot is the middle back of my curls. I'm going to try curlsmith products and keep you both posted. God bless you both always.

Alaine Wilson: Another difference between them is that the air dry cream and the jelly both don't contain aloe like the other Curlsmith stylers, so there is no flash drying if you're sensitive to aloe.

Victoria Lovatt: Just bought some air dry cream (not curlsmith unf)...hope it speeds up the process! Honestly civilisations could rise and fall in the time it takes my hair to dry. Great video Mell and Amanda!

Izzy: 9:41 As someone who since the age of about five, (I gave up on blow drying because of how long it took and as I didn't have a diffuser it always ended in disaster) has washed their hair every other day, after the wash braided my hair whilst wet and then slept on it like that with very minimal products and has been doing this for ten years, this is very scary. HELP-

Derrick Jennifer Watkins: Love the curlsmith comparisons! Thank you! Curlsmith rocks ( and so do you two!)

Tiffany L: Really interesting to hear that air drying can potentially lead to more damage than diffusing!! Thanks for always bringing the science, seesters! I diffuse anyway because I prefer the results, but now I feel better about my choice lol

JessieBanana: I just want to say this worked super well for me. I have really thick 3c/4a hair that's starting to get long and I was realizing that my hair was staying wet for 24hr+ periods. Anywho, my hair thanks you and I just wanted people to know this works for an even tighter curl.

Krista Houston: Thank you for explaining the damage that can occur with air drying. I've been doing it but I swear my hair was healthier (not curlier) when I dried it. But I'm learning to fix what products/ techniques I use..and i think I'm going to start diffusing instead of air drying

Jose Contreras: I really like this routine. Enjoyed all the tips and, yes weather must be perfect for air drying. Like the oil to seal the hair at the end. Curlsmith is fantastic. Own many of their products

Holly L: Lol I’m so glad I found your channel!! Trying to embrace my naturally curly hair and on this bee hair journey. Loving your videos!!

Poonam Golwalkar: Such beauties you two girls are! I am also appalled at the efforts you'll are taking to give us the information. Thank you.

msdazzler: Even though I have different curly hair than either one of you, it still was an informative movie! Watched until the end!

Short.andcurly: Amanda knows the struggle I will air dry for up to 2 hours before diffusing for 10-15 minutes because my hair takes 4 centuries to air dry . I will air dry 100% in the summer because it’s too hot to diffuse and I’ll just air dry in front of a fan instead

DesiraeElaine: Amanda and I have the same curl pattern but I WISH my hair was as dense as hers. I have very fine hair and low density. Love it so much.

Shelley Angela: Hi Mel! I LOVE your channel, it is helping me a lot. Question? Is a small amount of mineral oil, good to use as a last step to seal the curls? Thank you soo much!

Nouheila b: Excuse me but I have a question : for those who can't go out with their hair down because it gets frizzy and has too much volume ( or they can't stay normal because of the air like the one in the beach for example ) what should they do ?

Loraine Mcgillivray: I have a slightly looser curl pattern I think it's somewhere between 2c and 3a, but it's as long as Amanda's. It's also very thick/course textured and from soaking wet takes 10 hours to air dry - no one has time for that. I plop with a microfibre towel to get rid of some of the water and I do a combination of diffusing and air drying each washday (once a week with shampoo and once with a cowash as I have a dry scalp/skin). Even in combination it takes a good three to four hours to completely dry, so it's not a quick process. I have severe back issues so I can't just completely diffuse either, as it becomes very painful for arms/shoulders/back. I think many of us use a combination of air drying and diffusing with long thick hair. I do layer more products though as I need a lot of moisture. Be well and best wishes.

Nicolle Cespedes: Sis!!!! You just save me i always do air dry for my hair and i get some frizz , this was very helpful

meldan5: Thanks for this. I recently gave myself a herniated disc in my lower back and can’t bend over to blow dry my hair. It’s going to take weeks to heal so this helps a lot

Nicole Allan: This routine has actually been life changing for me

Rexhina Ruci: My seesters are blooming !!! Those Amanda's hair are goaaaals Mell you are the curl Queen in youtube !!! Love you

Suzie: I love you seesters! Thank you for all of the tips you give. They are so helpful!!

Caroline C: Amanda: I need more product Mel: she needs more Jesus too Mel's energy reminds me so much of Raven from That's So Raven!! And it's the best!!

kyarra marie: Perfect exactly what I needed!! You guys are so amazing and beautiful!! ☺️

Saousun: Me watching this videos at 7am while air drying my hair before work, bcs it's the first time I'm not straightening it and keeping it natural for the office

angelsweetie84: I hate waiting for my hair to dry! I have superfine curls that need quite a bit of hold to prevent frizzles. Which sometimes means more product, so it takes forever to dry.

Ashley Vardy: I am currently in transition, I wash my hair twice a week. All of your tips and tricks have helped me tremendously. I have length like your Seester with a curl type between 3b-3c. I have one annoyingly stubborn area that loves to dry faster than everywhere else, and it doesn't like to define that well the struggle is real >.<

chuu: Thank you guys for helping with my curls❤️

Ray Mohamed: Hello Mell, hope u are keeping safe and well. I have discovered ur FAB channel recently and have been hooked ever since! I have curly hair and have been curling it for a long time using Pantene oil replacement my curls looked perfect also I have always been straightening my hair once about once a month and kept it curly the rest of the month. I have recently tried to explore prods with better ingredients and a solid routine as oppesed to my past trial & error random strategy lol. I have tried Cantu (felt super heavy and greasy for my hair and had no definition past a couple of hours) then aunt Jacky's curl lala ( NO DEFINITION WHATSOEVER, JUST A CRAZY BIG FRIZZ). My frontal curls have completely loosened and are just straight streaks that look awful, what should I do.. Help me here plz

Bianca Allen: Curl Smith is really poppin now that nobody is using deva curl I’m gonna have to try them

Donna Brunig: My hair is now silvery white, which I have come to love. I do find, however, that products often have colorants in them that transfer into my hair. So anything that is yellow coming out of the bottle will make my hair yellow-y or, worse yet, brownish. (I use a purple shampoo and conditioner every other washday.) I love your awesome reviews, would it be possible for you to say if the product is clear or white as I can't always tell when it's in the palm of your hands?

Shari Perlman: Love, love love #Texture Tuesdays. As always, lots of helpful information. I wondered why peeps removed rows from their denman brush...Thanks for clearing that mystery up me. I'm going to try taking out a few rows to see if it helps my fine wavy/curly hair clump better. Plus I need to practice the technique. Wash day can't come fast enough.

azzariah styles: This helped me so much. Like it used to take maybe 5 hours or so for my hair to dry but now it doesn't really take as long

golden doodle: Great demo! I love both of your blond highlights. Whenever I go light in color however, my fine 3B/3C hair breaks and the curl loosens. How do you keep your curls so healthy and defined even with chemically lightened hair? Also Mell, what is your hair texture? Mine is like yours but I can’t decide if it is 3B or 3C. Thank you!

Jennifer Marques: hey girl! love your channel! just started my transition last month and you channel is so informative its great! I have a question, i noticed you guys don't wear your hair up/slicked back often if at all I just wonder is it bad for curls? is it best to avoid when transitions? xo

Hannah Parmley: Hi Seesters! Love your videos. How do you know how many bristles to remove/leave on your denman brush? (My hair is about half between you both). Much love from the UK

Sabrina Liew: Love this! ♥️ Can't wait to try this out

A Tired Millennial: Just used these products for the first time... The serum doubles as a great moisturizer for my hands lol smells AMAZING

Maya Eiland: I have no damage on my hair and I always air dry when it’s nice weather or when I’m inside while it’s cold outside!

nini_cat: Great video! Thank you ladies <3

Berchy Zgb: Great, so I've been air drying my hair for like 7 hours every time, not knowing I'm damaging my hair

StuckInTheLazyCorner Again: It takes me around 5 hours for my hair to dry 100% (thick hair struggles!) I still air dry most of the time, especially now since I’m not going anywhere or doing anything...

loveofwonder: I just saw the first seester video, and the transformation in your seester's hair is amazing. What a transformation over 2 years.

Yasmin S.: You girls are adorable and funny too. Great videos and thank you. I have the kinkiest hair, frizziest hair and do Keratin Treatments to bring it on the down low, but I could never get it to be as curly as not as hard. I have tried multiple products, but it's always hard as a rock.

GreenCheekLove: Great info in this vid! I went to the link in your description. The Air dry cream is $26.00 USD, plus shipping... Ouch! Pricey. I hope everyone is staying safe. Germ free hugs from Toronto

Dora Mercedes: Ahhh thank you, Amanda. We have very similar curl patterns and textures and I think I need to take out some sections of my Denman brush.

Hannah Klein: I have watch Amanda’s hair transform from a loos wave to these tighter bouncier curls. I used to relate to her more hair texture more in its looser state. And I live what has happened over time. How did she do that? I feel like I go through periods when my hair is looser and tighter and I want to help my curls evolve

Yara Alameddine: Does a leave in conditioner spray help control the frizz after a shower? Or help my hair not become TOO puffy and big? Also, is a spray leave in conditioner or a regular leave in conditioner better? Thanks a lot!

long yarn: Mel, you're So lucky to have a Seester! And both of you are doubly lucky to have such fabulous curls! Now I have to go defuse because it's time for bed and my hair is Still wet.

Susan Massey: I had been wanting to see in detail how you do the top of your head (especially Amanda!)! LOVE seeing both ways on different hair! Sometimes I do a combo! Thanks so much and please keep teaching!

Alyssa Brady: wow you girls are amazing! Going to add this to my routine!

Kristy Trent: Wow…i’ve watched tons of these videos, and you guys are the first ones to mention that u shouldn’t do a “part”Thanks! that’ll add this to my routine !

Ellie Hughes: Just used the Verb reset and it totally removed all product AND the awful hard water and my hair looks amazing. Thanks for the recommendation!!!

Chappysmom: I don't even own a hair dryer, so yeah--air drying is my method of choice! Some great tips, here. I shower around 7:00 at night, let my hair dry until I go to bed around midnight and then give it a fluff in the morning. I don't have the patience to fuss with my hair in the morning (yet another reason I never Refresh--they all take too long), so this is perfect for me! Going to go check out that airdry cream...

Andrea Dunton: So for us curly girls with fine hair, what is the best product to use from CurlSmith? I was contemplating the Hold Me Softly Style Balm, but not sure if it would be too heavy for fine hair. Gotta say, I am kind of excited to try the Weightless Air Dry Cream.

000snow000: What's the difference between a leave in and a curl cream and when do you use one vs the other or both?

G' Sahara: Big important question! What other sealing products you recommend? For the last step. Bc I bought an ogx oil and it says you should use it on damp hair, so I'm still lacking a product to seal the moisture in

marie mency: Your amazing girl thanks for all the best tips

oceanaguilar: Love all your tips!! I have a question for you in regards to my hair. I have been doing your technique but I am still getting afro starting on the midsection of my hair. I am stressed out trying to figure out what to do. I have thick like seester but my curls are like Mel's I just hate thd fact that I can't wear my hair loose as both you and seester do. Do you have any suggestions for my bush?
