Hey it's robin from rose and lily. Today, i'm going to show you how to make this strawberry cow, she's super cute and cuddly, and this is honestly one of my kids favorite toys. The first thing you'll need is some super chunky, plush yarn in three colors. So a primary color, a secondary color and then a color for the horns. You'Ll also need a small amount of medium weight. Black yarn for the nostrils, then you'll also need 12 to 15 millimeter safety eyes, a usg crochet hook a yarn needle scissors, poly fill and preferably some stitch markers. The stitches you need to know beforehand are single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet magic ring chain, stitch, slip, stitch, increase, invisible decrease and then we'll also be doing a color change. Next, we'll get started on the pattern. Remember if you want to keep up to date with all my latest pattern releases, please click like subscribe and hit that notification bell we're going to start on the hooves and then work our way upwards. So we're going to start with your secondary color and we're going to do six single crochet in the magic ring to start pull the ring tight. Then i like to mark the end of each round with a stitch marker in round two. We do two single crochet into each stitch. In other words, we do six increases, and that brings us up to twelve stitches in round two in round three, we start with three single crochet and then we do an increase, and we do that all three times to get 15 stitches at the end of round Three we're going to do a color change, so stop halfway in the last stitch of the round. So here's the last stitch of round three and i'm going to cut the yarn and i'm changing over to my primary color and i'll be doing the next few stitches over the tails from the color change now for the next four rounds. So that's rounds four to seven we're just doing 15 single crochet around. So that's no increasing and i'll. Do these four rounds off-camera after round seven on the first leg, only we are going to do a slip, stitch to close and then cut the yarn, and i'm going to mark that slip stitch with a stitch marker now you're going to do that all again. For the second leg, but don't slip, stitch or cut the yarn to finish so. I'Ve just done the second leg, and now i'm going to chain three now we're going to join that to the first leg so find the stitch after the marked slip stitch and we're going to do a single crochet into there working over that tail. From the first leg, this single crochet also forms the first stitch of round one of the belly, and i'm just going to put a marker in it. Now we continue with the belly. We'Ve already done one stitch of the belly, and now we continue with 14, more single crochet in the first leg, and the last of these goes into the marked slip stitch. Now we are going to crochet into the chain. There were three chain stitches, so we're going to do one single crochet into each of them to make three single crochet. Now we're going to do 15 single crochet into the second leg, and we finish off with three single crochet into the chain. The last stitch of round one goes just before that marked stitch on the first leg, and i'm just going to mark the stitch here round. Two is going to start in this marked stitch here and we're going to start increasing. So in round two. We do five single crochet and then an increase, and we do that all six times to get 42 stitches when working with super chunky yarn, you can sometimes get these holes when joining the legs together. If this happens, you can just sew them closed with one of the tails in rounds three to seven. So that's five rounds, there's no increasing! We just do 42 single crochet around and i'll. Do these rounds off camera now we're going to start decreasing for the top of the belly, so in round 8 we first do 5 single crochet and then we do an invisible decrease and we do all of that six times in total to get 36 stitches in Round eight round 9 is just 36 single crochet around in round ten. We do four single crochet and then a decrease, and we do that six times to get thirty round. 11 is just 30 single crochet around in round 12. It'S three single crochet and then a decrease, and we do that six times to get 24 round. 13 is two single crochet, followed by the decrease, and we do that six times to get eighteen. If the piece is getting quite small now you can stuff it after round thirteen, or in my case, i'm going to stuff after round 14. in round 14, it's a single crochet and then a decrease, and we do that six times to bring us down to 12 Stitches in the round, so now i'm going to stuff the body and the legs make sure to get stuffing all the way down to the bottom of the legs in round 15, we're going to do the neck and it's just 12 single crochet around in round 16. We are doing two single crochet into each stitch, so that means we're doing 12 increases, which brings us to a total of 24 in round 17. We do a single crochet and then an increase, and we do that all 12 times to get 36 stitches in round 18. We do five single crochet and then an increase, and we do that six times to get forty two round. 19 is our last round of increasing, so we do six single crochet and then an increase. We do that six times to get forty eight now for the next five rounds. We just do 48 single crochet around and i'll. Do these five rounds off-camera now we are going to start decreasing so in round 25, it's six single crochet, followed by the decrease, and then we do that six times in total to get 42 stitches at the time of filming. I didn't have the safety eyes available, but you will add them between rounds 23 and 24 about 10 stitches apart in round 26, it's five single crochet and then a decrease. We do that six times to get thirty six in round 27, it's four single crochet and then decrease. We do that six times to get thirty in round 28. It'S three single crochet, followed by a decrease, and we do that six times to get 24 in round 29, it's two single crochet and then decrease. We repeat that six times in total to get 18 stitches in round 30, we do a single crochet and then a decrease, and we do that six times to get twelve. Now i'm going to stuff the head make sure to get stuffing into the neck so that the head doesn't wobble round. 31 is the last round of the head and we're just going to do six decreases, which will bring us down from 12 stitches to six just work slowly here, because it's quite small at this point at the end of round 31, you can cut the yarn making Sure to leave a bit of a tail now we're going to sew that hole, closed, go through the front loops of the stitches from round thirty-one and then pull the tail tight and that will close the hole and you can insert the tail into the head. Just to a few places to secure it now the body and the head are finished. Next, we're going to start on the arms and once again we start with our secondary color in round one. It'S six single crochet in a magic ring, pull the ring tight and, as always, i like to use a stitch marker at the end of each round. In round two, we do six increases which brings us up to 12 stitches in round three. We just do 12 single crochet around, but stop when you reach the last stitch of round three because we're going to do a color change. So i've just done my 12 stitches in round three and i've stopped halfway through the last stitch and i'm going to change to my primary color, i'm going to do the first few stitches of round four over those tails from the color change. So in round four, it's two single crochet and then a decrease, and we do that three times to get nine stitches in rounds five to eight. So that's four rounds. It'S just nine single crochet around and i'll. Do these four rounds off camera now we're going to stuff the arm, and i like to stuff the arm only about halfway now we're going to close the top of the arm so fold, the top of the arm flat and then we're going to do single crochets Across both sides all the way along the top of the arm. Now we can cut the yarn making sure to leave a bit of a tail for sewing and you'll make the second arm exactly the same way. Thanks for watching part, one i'll put the link to part two in the description box.

paanora: once i know how to do a magic ring, it’s over for y’all.

A Daniels: I am a novice crocheter. And I absolutely love these patterns. I don’t know how to read a pattern really and these really do help. Sometimes I have to do the same thing several times but I eventually get it. And if I can do it literally anyone can

Kaisa T: to anyone who sees this, PUT THE SAFETY EYES IN BEFORE MOVING ON TO THE NEXT PART, BEFORE SEWING THE HEAD! Otherwise it's a great tutorial. I haven't croched in years and I could follow allong just fine after watching a couple 5 minute youtube tutorials on how to make the magic circle and hdc/dc. Took me around 8-10 hours I think but again, I had to look at tutorials and did other stuff at the same time.

Brianna Dickson: I LOVE how this pattern is worked in one piece!

Alice Dunn: THANK YOU for another great pattern and tutorial! I adore how well they always turn out! I have discovered when something starts looking "wonky" it's been my error, NOT yours or the pattern! So it's well worth my time to tear out a round or two to find MY mistake!

Melissa Sheets: I just discovered your channel. My absolute favorite crochet channel on YouTube!! Great instructions and easy to follow!

Andreea: Thank you very much for all your videos! Your patterns are soo darn adorable! Really appreciate your work!

Dee Ramos: Thank you for written pattern in corner

Diane Alford: I really like the way you give directions. Not a lot of needles chit chat... which can be very distracting to folks with attention span issues. Some tutorials from other people leave me confused and forgetting what they even said to do. Saving your channel and will be checking in!

Dominique: Hii is it okay I recreate (and post on my IG giving orig credit to u) this pattern a bit like for instance I'm using smaller yarn size different colors and slightly diff spot placement and increasing sc rows to make the legs and stuff longer and diff eyes just checking love your channel and your work has helped me a lot as a beginner

Dafne Carbajal: I’m a complete beginner but I realllyyyy want to attempt this :,(( Maybe I’ll try it and see how it goes

Ramyakiran S: Hey. Can I sell the finished product made from your pattern?

DancingNurse: Could you please create a cute ladybug? I have set real people requesting one and I’ve made lots of your cute animals. Selling them in the local store. Thanks!

Shell Bee: thank GOD i found the right tutorial. others would literally gatekeep this exact pattern or you'd have to pay for it, which is ridiculous cause it's not even theirs to begin with, they jus want money

Naomi Sapphire: Hello! I’m new to crochet, when you say for example 2 SC, dec x 6 (18) does that mean I would do 2 single crochet, then a decrease, then 2 single crochet, then a decrease and so on if that makes sense?

Nataa_Lya: You're the best ❤️ Edit :: new subs btw!

Kirsty Marks: Can I ask please when you’re working into the chain, I’m assuming you do the front loop first and then back loop behind? Thankyou

Farrokh Asadimoghaddam: Thanks a lot for nice works, could you please make a panda.

Tori Babyy: So if i want to make a bigger size do I have to increase it by myself or do I need a bigger yarn? please someone enlighten me <333

นิด เองจะใครล่ะ!: can you teach how to crochet CAPYBARA please

PaperRi: Hi! Can I sell the finished product?

Света Тимофеева: And how much yarn of the main color should be taken?

Jessica Nicole: Me on row 9 counting 49 stitches instead of 36

maud joyal: Does anyone knows what amont of primary yarn is needed? I have only 38m left of baby pink, is it enough?

Paula Alejandra: How many millimeters is the yarn? please <3

Emilia Santiago: I want to make one but I have acrylic red heart yarn. Should I double strand??? And what crochet hook would u recommend so it can come out about ur cows size??? Plss

cstre35: I am wondering how much yarn is needed, mainly for the primary color?

cupid: hi! in the end, how big is the cow?

Mary June: Hi Do we chain one at the beginning of each round or just keep on crocheting the next round without chaining one..

Vicki Brown: What do I do if I want to make this but only have category 4 yarn?

Izati: Hi! may I know the size of finished project?

Butterfly’s Edits: Do you have videos on how to do all those?

Liesl Gregory: Does this pattern work with normal yarn instead of fluffy yarn?

Amy Lee: Hello when I first did the head it became bumpy like a pumpkin and so I undid it and do it again, same result. So I do this instead: in, 1sc in, 2sc in , 5 rounds of only sc , 6 sc decrease, 5sc decrease, 4sc decrease, 3 sc decrease, 2sc decrease , 1 sc decrease, and then decrease

Aboytes González.: ¿De qué medida es.?

Carolina Gonzalez: my cow comes out so big but i made the mushroom boy with the same yarn & he’s small

Eliza Vindas: Alguien sabe cuánto mide la vaquita?

Lily: Can I use thin yarn 4 this

Beans: Do you mind if I sell the completed project made with your pattern?

Frogged: How much yarn is needed?

jolita g: hi, can you please tell me in which hole did you put your eyes?

Sara S: Can you do tutorial of bunny with very big ears

Fannı.: Is it okay to do this with normal yarn that isn't chunky?

Alexa Cruz: What does decrease and increase mean ?

Natalie Daniels: since she omitts this crucial step, in round 2 for the legs you do 3 sc, than increase ( 2sc ) and than you have to skip two stitches to get 15 otherwise it won't work. that was annoying to figure out and should've been stated in the video

GrammaPatriot: Im confused on row 3. Says 3 sc increase equals 15. Theres 12 stitches, how many stitches get 3 sc in them? New crocheter here. (Do you put 3 sc in every other stitch in that round?)

Fabiënne: how much mm are those eyes? :)

🍃BrokenFlower🥀: Hello, I am very new to your channel and I have been watching your Part I crochet video. I have been having trouble seeing where and how you start decreasing in your stitches your videos are going to fast, is it possible you can slow it down?

Holly Phillips: I really love this, but I wish you went slower and had it at an angle I could see

iiFallenWish: How much yarn? Can you tell us exactly how much? Chunky is kind of vague

Maria Dâmaso: The head on mine keeps falling down, I think the neck is too small or the head too heavy :(

Thea Woldseth: Loved this video, but I cant seem to find how to make the horns that are one the cow u made as thumbnail...? Would appreciate an answer<3

NyxTris stream: Idk what I did but I made his head really big! Lol

Zsanka: What size safety eyes??

Zsanka: What size safety eyes??

fluffymignon: Alguien q me de el patrón en español ? No lo encuentro en español

리쥬: Tell me the thickness of the thread.

Nicole Rech: please hello, please put subtitles in portuguese brazil. I need this recipe but I don't understand your language.

Asma Ahmad Ali: The only acctual thing you can call a project that I have done is a blanket and EVERYONE WITH UR MOMS HELP U CAN DO THIS TUTORIAL I was struggling on the magic circle because this is the first time I have done it so my mom helped me w that so yanh

UndefinedLiar: BM second arm: 19:28

Elles Vlogs: this is my first tim crocheting a cow it looks so bad not because of you i didn’t it too fast lol
