Hey guys welcome back to my channel and welcome back to another video in today's video. I am going to be doing another first impressions video, so I'm going to be trying out a different technique for hair. I am going to be trying out Medusa clipping or pineapple clipping, whatever you call it. It'S basically, where you're just clipping sections of your hair to the top of your head sleeping in that overnight, and then it helps to actually preserve your waves or curls for the next day. So if you're new to my channel, I did recently do a video about sleeping with wavy or curly hair, and I talked about a couple different techniques in that video. But I mentioned how I've never tried Medusa clipping before, so I'm really excited to try out with you guys today. It'S actually really late right now and I need to head off to bed, but I am going to of course check in tomorrow morning again and show you guys my results and give you my final thoughts after I fluffed my hair up and everything like that. So I really hope that you guys enjoyed this video, give it a thumbs up. If you do, that, really helps me out and if you are new to my channel and you have not subscribed yet down below. I would love for you guys to do that and also come join me over on Instagram and Twitter. If you want to be more a part of this community that we are creating, let's just go ahead and get started, so the clips that I have are just these really tiny little black pockets. I took these up from Amazon and there's a ton in this little package. Super super cheap, they're, very small and apparently that's what's best for this technique. So basically I'm just going to clip my hair to the top of my head as I've seen in other YouTube. Tutorials, I'm going to try to keep it on the top so that I am not laying on the clips when I'm laying on my pillowcase and also try out to disturb aways too much. So I'm just gon na grab this section over here. Pull it up to the top trying to see in my viewfinder, because my mirror is behind me, so try not to clip it to my actual scalp, because I don't want these to dig into my scalp, I'm gon na like clip them to where the actual claw Part is coming out sideways if that makes sense at all, I'm probably not going to clip up these short sections in the back, because they're pretty straight for me, anyways and which is straighten them out even more to pull them up like that, and my hair looks Like right now, I think I'm just going to leave it like this, make sure that it's sturdy and not gon na fall out. It feels pretty good. I don't even have a lot of clips in my hair right now. I thought I was gon na use more than that, so I got like a really big pack and I put one clip over here to make sure that these pieces don't fall down back here and then, like I said, I love these little pieces out in the Back they're, just too short, but yeah I'm going to go to bed like this and then tomorrow morning, when I wake up, I will come and take this down. Fluff it out and show you guys what it looks like I do want to know. You should be sleeping, Oh cookies, as much as you can Cory, wavy or curly hair, just cuz. It'S a lot better. I don't all the time, but I try to you as much as possible as much as my soak boat places are clean, so yeah, I'm gon na head off to bed now looking a little crazy like this, and I will of course check in with you guys In the morning good morning, so I look a little crazy, but I have to say first thing: I can't believe how well my hair stayed in its overnight. I am a crazy sleeper, I'm all over the place. We really do overnight. Hair things like this stay in place really well, usually, I would have at least a few pieces that fell out, but my hair is pretty much all in, except for, like some small pieces around the back, I have a little small piece, but for the most part And yeah, I did actually end up clipping up this little back section here because it was so small, it's just kind of like plucking my neck, so I figured I may as well, because I mean it's not really for purposes to keep it looking wavy, but just To give it off my neck, because it was kind of annoying so other than that. This is what it looks like I'm gon na. Take it all down fluff it out, maybe walk away for a little bit to give it a chance to settle, because I know people say that's really important, so we will see excuse my craziness. I did not bother to put makeup on for this video. Considering I filmed it right before I went to bed and now right after I'm waking up, so I'm just gon na take out the clips. I guess I'm going to start from the back so that it's easier to get to all of them. Oh, the only thing is these clips are kind of like getting stuck on my hair, like I'm having to pull them out. Okay, guys, it looks a little crazy, but, like I don't let it sit. So I'm gon na walk away for a little bit. Get some coffee you let this rest do its thing and then I'll come back and fluff it out and show you guys what it looks. Bacchus focus! Okay, guys! I'M back. I have my coffee. Yes, the Swift, coffee, don't judge and I'm not gon na drink it in the bathroom, because that grosses me out and also this needs to rest too, so I'm gon na set that back out in the kitchen. I just wanted to keep you guys with this sleep. You know we're gon na fluff the hair out a little bit, but I got ta tell you guys. I am shook, and I know that I always I feel like have kind of like positive first impressions, I'm gon na have pretty good experiences and I swear. I'M being genuine with you guys, like I'm, not just saying that I like it. If I don't, you know what I'm saying, but I feel like they're always positive, and maybe it's repetitive because I'm doing first impressions, I don't always end up liking them, but just keep in mind to like up until recently, there was so many different hair techniques that I hadn't tried - and these are very popular ones - that a lot of people like so it kind of makes so that wouldn't blame them, but anyways we're gon na stop rambling. I'M gon na grab my burp post. Well, I'm gon na first just fluff my hair out a little bit, I'm gon na start from the bottom like I always do and just shake it the root and then I'm gon na flip back and forth a little bit and then I'm going to grab some Oil, I'm just going to kind of smooth it really a bigger. I know this looks weird, but I don't like to press too hard, so just kind of like lightly run my hands over it with an oil, and I know this is kind of considered refreshing. But for me you guys it takes two seconds and I literally always like to do this. If I want my hair to look half decent the next day, because it just really really helps with frizz. So I'm gon na give you guys a little look at how my hair is looking flipping around shooters at different sides. But I just cannot believe that this actually worked out well for me, because I just so expected my hair to pengie that kinky weird thing where it sticks up. This is how it looks back on this side and obviously like they're - not perfect, but for me it's so impossible, we're short hair to get my waves. Looking really nice and I say no matter what I do since my hair is so short, it's just really hard. So yeah there you have it guys, I guess we're in and the video I just wanted to come on here and do another little first impressions. I know I just did one recently, but I was kind of getting really excited to try this out also like this was not uncomfortable for me to sleep on like it was totally fine, I'm still baffled over the fact that those clips didn't at least some of Them fall out, but I guess they're pretty sturdy and please please. Let me know down in the comments what you guys want to see from me really anything but mainly hair videos, because I do have ideas for other content, but for hair videos. I have been really stumped. I do have an updated hair routine, coming very soon, so stay tuned for that and top the notification about if you want to be notified, but yeah other than that. Let me know what you guys want you for hair videos right now, because I really need some ideas and yeah. That'S gon na. Be everything. Thank you guys so much for watching. I love you and I will see you in my next video bye sounds like the lawnmowers going outside. I wonder if jealousy something nevermind, that's just tractor on our fields. I know I might seem like I'm intoxicated right now, but it's just because I just woke up so if it was ever thinking that a little

Nikki: I‘d love to see a video on protein/moisture balance as well as how to know when it’s time to clarify, etc if you have any experience with that? My hair is pretty similar to yours and on some days I can get it to look great but it never lasts for long. I feel like I haven‘t gotten the right balance of all the different steps I‘m now doing if that makes sense

Mari D.: i used to clip my hair up all the time overnight. it worked so well for me! my hair has lost its waviness because of heat damage so now i’m in the process of trying to get back my wavy hair and your videos have been great to watch. :)

J Flo: My hair is a little longer than yours. I find this clipping method works quite well to preserve my 2B waves.

Kathy S: I just discovered your videos & I love them! I had been getting keratin smoothing treatments on my naturally wavy/curly hair for the past few years Now that I can’t go to the salon I’m embracing my waves again & your how to’s are helpful!

Emily: I tried this method once & it did not work for me, but now I want to try again! My hair is so thin that if I even touch it the wrong way all of my curls/waves (I’m between 2A/2B) fall out & it’s SO frustrating

Lily Snape: Such a great Video. I Cut my hair last year to a pixie and this year to a Bob and they're so thin, that I loose my waves/curls very fast. So I think I would try this for sleeping instead of just fabric around my head.

Rebecca Pamuk: Could you PLEASE make a video on hairstyles for the gym?!?! I have wavy hair like yours (although my hair is very fine), and when I try to put my hair back to work out, it stretches out the wave and just looks gross!

Mirabelle Peterson: Medusa clipping is great for 1B 2B hair. I've tried everything else and this is the only thing that works for me

Caroline Azevedo: I love your hair. Your haircut became the main reason why I cut mine at the same size. Our texture is different but I like the idea, I'll give a chance. I tried pinneaple and didn't work for me. thank you

earthling: How does your haur look like an actual hairstyle after you slept?!Looks better than before haha

annie: do you get your hair professionally highlighted? i feel like the highlights really show your texture so well

Mandy Ramirez: I have done this for years. But I do mine wet and dry hair. For me it has worked best. I’m glad it worked!

Katia Casanova: I knew that it would work for you and I’m so glad you tried it!!!

redwitchwannabe: The clips you have are octopus clips. They are harder to get out then the claws. I have super thick hair and they are the best to keep my hair back during the day. I'm glad it worked.

Marelind72: The basic pineapple works well for me. It looks ridiculous but when I take it down the next morning, I have natural volume. Sometimes too much! How many days do you refresh only? Thank you for these hair videos! Loving your channel and your sweet disposition ✝️

Tammy Brown Barajas: May I suggest putting the back up in a bobby pin (works great)

Mirabelle Peterson: Does an oil make your hair greasy right after you washed it ?

Carol Sferra: wow....that worked great!!!!!!!

Natalie Moliterno: Well, I know what I'm trying tonight!

Mirabelle Peterson: What kind of oil are you using? I'm afraid it's going to make my hair all slimy

WeenerDawg: ima man but damn looks like if i could fix my hair it could look like yours that is amazing

Derrick Jennifer Watkins: Love the tractor blooper. I love on a farm and machinery is always making noise!

Cristian Beitía: Hellooo, thanks for your tips. Im from Panama

Karen Grove: I'm going to try it I have way hair I try to grow it out

smaflenna: How did you sleep with the clips on the back of your head? Did you sleep on your side?

Maria Bontrager: Sooo you act drunk when you wake up?

Lydia Regal: Too many clips in the hait. Wont b able to sleep with these.

Mirabelle Peterson: So the only product you use was oil? Yikes
