Hi guys and welcome to everything here over the past few months, you would have noticed that our channel has gone through massive changes, and this is because we have been under major scrutiny by youtube and we had to delete most of our videos to adhere to youtube's Terms of use, if we look at our video section, you find out that most of them have been deleted. But don't worry all your favorite videos are on our backup channel at it's everything here in the description box below and if you go on our playlist section. You'Ll find that most of our videos are still on there as we move forward, expect better quality content coming from us on all our platforms, and thank you guys so much for watching today. We'Re going to be talking about general tips on how to grow out your hair, no matter what your hair type is and no matter what your hair regimen or your hair styling process is. Our first tip for today is cleansing cleansing. Your hair requires you to understand your hair and what your hair needs. So our advice for you will be to make sure that you wash and clarify your hair every two weeks. At least one of the questions that are more frequent are questions on whether you should use shampoos that have sulfates. We have a post out on our blog post about sulfates and seeing if you need to make the choice to include sulfates or to remove them from your wash day. Routine and generally speaking, sulfates are considered safe to use and they do their job of removing dirt. And grime from your scalp and from your hair, the downside of this is that sometimes they do their job too well, in the sense that they excessively strip natural oils and proteins from your hair. This will leave your hair and your scalp looking dry and damaged. So if you want to check out that blog post i'll leave it in the description box and if you're not subscribed to our mailing list, yet i don't know what you're waiting for click the link in the description box to subscribe to our mailing list. We have exciting stuff coming up so make sure that you're subscribed our next tip, for you is about tight, hairstyles, tight hairstyles, i no! No, whatever hairstyle you have should not be causing you pain. When you see tiny bumps forming on your hairline. That is a big red warning sign that there's too much tension on your hair. I personally am a big advocate of protective hairstyles, but when it's done wrongly you'll find that it does more harm than good. So, no matter what hairstyle you're choosing make sure that the tension is not causing you any pain and your scalp has breathing space. Our next tip is don't over process your hair. This is for the relaxed, hair, girlies and also girlies that bleach their hair on their own. If you're, not an expert on processing hair just go to a specialist for your own good. You know those videos where you see people relax their hair and then bleach their hair and their hair starts like falling out. You never want to be a viral sensation for your hair, falling out for your own good. If you're, not an expert on processing hair, that's relaxing your hair or coloring it or bleaching. It just go to a specialist go to a stylist processing. Your hair with a relaxer or color treatment is like cooking an egg. You can't undo what has already been done. So you have to know what you're doing or better still just go to a trusted. Stylist. Our next tip is about the ends of your hair. The ends of your hair will either make or break you when you start noticing that the ends of your hair are becoming dry, brittle or frayed make sure to trim those ends. There'S no need for you to retain length when you know that you're beginning to have split ends. That'Ll just encourage breakage. Another key for the ends of your hair is to conceal them. Hide them away. Wear styles that tuck those ends away. You don't want to make the ends of your hair susceptible to damage, so try as much as possible to do protective, hairstyles or hairstyles that mainly just tuck the ends of your hair away. Our next tip is to take down and detangle your hair, very gently. I personally am still battling with this: don't fight with your hair, be gentle when taking your hairstyles down and also be patient while detangling your hair, don't yank at your tangles, walk through them with your fingers and then with a wide toot comb to smooth out your Strands our last tip for you today is that water is your friend drink it and spread it into your hair, as often as you can for additional moisture use, leave-in conditioners, sealing oils and butters. If you need to and just enjoy your hair journey black hair. No matter what your hair type is or whatever state your hair is in needs at least daily or weekly attention. The tips that we just gave you right now are just easy and general tips that will help you grow out your hair and prevent it from damage.
