Medium Length Layer Haircut Makeover - Thesalonguy

Please enjoy this fun haircut makeover I did on Kim, Founder of MBM Crafts. I gave her a medium length layered haircut. This haircut falls more on the medium to shorter length than medium to long. I held everything straight out from the head shape and cut the layers to about 6-8 inches in length. You can go shorter but it will create more of a shag look. I then blow dried her hair and styled with light hair spray.

Chris Lanston, Celebrity Makeup Artist gave her a soft, beautiful and natural look with her makeup which is great for an everyday look.

Hey guys Steven a salon guy here and today, I've got a very special to tour. You guys I've got Kim here from mbm crafts and we're going to give her a makeover today, Kim how you doing. I am scared, excited, don't be scared. You won't look like me in the end. No, I, okay, that's that's very comforting! So we're doing a haircut makeover and we're going to do some makeup on Kim she's a mom. She was a really fun Channel. She does arts and crafts really really cool stuff. So we're getting her hair washed, get her set up and then we're gon na do the haircut. So I'm ready to go. Let'S get started member you all right Kim. So, as you can see, I blow dry there's all kind of forward toward your face. I know it looks kind of remember in the beginning. You said you wander here to look like this. It does remember. I can't see the mess there. My house is clean. Here'S the big secret. Now I blow dried all this forward and I blow dry this a little bit of flip to it. Okay and now what I'm going to do is I'm going to take this I'm going to rake it back kind of like a little bit with this side. Part - and you see what it does it opens it all up, and it gives it a nice sort of volume right in through here. So you blow dry forward. Then you bring it back. It creates a little bit of lift right into the front and then it kind of just works right in you can piece out those little flips like there and there you go, looks beautiful. So I'm just going to put a little bit of hairspray on it and you want this hair cut just to kind of fall right into place, and that's that's the beauty of this of this look a little bit of hairspray just to give it a light hold And this is something that, even when you wake up, as you saw before, your hair is going to look gorgeous, so the haircut really is doing all the work. So that's why this is great for especially being a busy mom like yourself. Okay, you can just wake up and your hair is going to look gorgeous, so this haircut is absolutely beautiful. It looks great on you. I love it well guys, as you can see, Kim's makeover is now complete. Let me just break down what I did for you guys so in case you want to go to your hairstyles or you want to try at home. I don't find suggesting it's at home, but let me explain what I did so. Basically, this is a medium length. Layered haircut probably I'd say more on the medium to shorter side that medium to longer side. So the base here, as you can see, here's the bottom length and I created an angle starting at the nose on this side and on this side, then, throughout the back. What I did is I held everything straight out from the head and followed the head shape and the layers were about I'd, say six to seven inches in length. If you go shorter, it becomes more of a kind of a shaggy er, shorter layered haircut and basically I held everything straight up straight out throughout the sides following the head shape. So it's got a beautiful nice, even balance throughout the whole thing. Then, when I blow dried it I blow dried it all going towards the face. This way gave it some flips right here and then I ranked it back to give it a nice little volume and lift right in through here and as you can talking behind the ear. So it's got a very elegant kind of evening. Look if you want to do that and I think it looks gorgeous, finished off a little hairspray and we're going to go now. Chris lanceton he's an amazing makeup, artist, a slower to makeup artist and he did Kim's makeup. So Chris little breakdown I booked it for Kim here. Basically, what I did for you as I kept this simple and any mother could do any fast-paced girl can zhuzh. I gave you both points, so I like to use the concealer in the triangle motion from under the eye right, the cheekbone. Take your bronzer go to follow the eye, sweep it in circles and you have an instant glow and with a pop of mascara. It'S a really quick facelift kind of makeup, so I think it's really easy and anybody can accomplish it. Helen Keller could even do it Chris. Could you give me some hair to top my head? You could you draw paint some hair or a magician well before we go Kim share with everyone, your YouTube channel, so they can watch all your amazing crafts, videos and your fun stuff, sure yeah my youtube channels and the M crafts. I do videos for families their child friendly and I think you'd have a lot of fun, checking them out awesome and Kris. What'S your website, Kris lanceton, calm, awesome! Well, guys. Thank you so much for watching and stay tuned for more tutorials from Solana.
