And I cut it a lot. Look at that. What do you guys think? I think it's super cute. This isn't style there or anything. This is just it air drying. Once I got out of the the tub, but that brings us to what we're going to be doing today is we're going to be trying out a couple of different pixie styles, that I've looked up on YouTube, and I thought this would be a good video, because I feel like a lot of people, don't get Shorthair because they don't know how to style it like they'll, be like. Oh, that haircut looks super cute, but I can never do that because I could like. I could never style it like that, and it's actually a lot easier than you think it's going to be. You just need the right products and another mistake that I find that a lot of people make is they'll, be looking at a haircut and they really like it, but they don't want to go that short and so then they'll end up getting it a little bit. Longer and then the style doesn't work as well, because it's not technically the same haircut. I just find that especially people who have like really long hair and then they want to go short. They never cut it short enough. Like that's what I did. I had hair that was like you, can't even see my hands. It was long naturally like it was down to my chest, and then I cut it into a bob I'll put a picture of it here and then I were probably after it, because it's Aidan with this other picture um, but and then I cut it kind of Like this but longer - and I didn't like it as much because it was too long and even when I styled it like the hair - was still in my face and that's what I hate like, I can't stand when hair is in my face. It drives me bananas. It gives me a headache. I get pissed, oh um, so yeah. I even made that mistake by not going short enough, and so this time I was like buckets, my hair was grown out. I couldn't do anything with it. I was wearing hats on it every day I was like well either. I need to get extensions and make it long it like make it into a bob, so I can throw it out or I need to chop it all off and I was like I contemplated it for a while, and I was like you know what it I I want to go short. I want to do it, I'm doing it I'm doing it here. I here I go and it turned out really awesome I'll post some pictures of like the first day. I got it on me and my friend went out and put, but we didn't party because of my hair. We just partied and I ended up cutting my hair earlier that day, um but yeah. I thought it would just be kind of a cute video to show you guys that short hairstyles can look really good and super cute and sexy and it just it really comes down to the products that you have and things like that, because it actually doesn't even Take that long to do have any short hair, which is what I really like like when I had long hair. It would take me an hour an hour and a half to do my hair, especially if I was curling it, and I just don't have that kind of time like I don't like in the morning, that's impossible, and so in long hair you end up just chucking. It up in a ponytail right, girls are like the the who bun like on top of your head, like Cindy Lou, Who and and like this, you know it's cute. It really is, but that's just not what I wanted. I wanted like a styled hairdo in the morning, and so I was like you know what I'm a kind of short and so I'm going to show you guys a couple. Oh sorry, I need a drink, a water girl back on track. I'M going to show you guys a couple different styles that I've seen other people do, that. I want to try out and see how they look on me and yeah. Let'S get started guys, okay, so the first thing I'm going to do is wet all of my hair. Basically because I want to start as if I just like got out of the shower or whatever the first product I'm gon na put in. Is this plastique extreme volumizer and it's a very liquid form and you put that all throughout your hair? And then I choose to crisscross like I'm doing here, just so that I can incorporate the liquid into my hair better and make sure it gets like on make sure it coats all of my hairs and lag they up. Now I'm going to blow-dry my hair forward because that's how this first look is gon na, be it's gon na be forward so um take your fingers and kind of brush your hair into the form that you want it to and then blow-dry it that way. When people say, oh, you need to train your hair to do this. That'S what they mean is blow-drying. It that way and constantly constantly making sure your hair is going the way that you want to style it basically and then I'm just blow drying the parts that I want down and blow drying it down. Obviously, and now I'm going to be using this, I'm not even exactly sure what it's called I'll have to look it up, but it it's like chopping powder, but a gel farm and this stuff. You only really want to put on your roots. You don't want to actually put it on the tips of your hair, and this is just to you know to like keep it fluffy kind of. Is that sounds like throughout the day, so you can scrunch it back up, and now I'm just using a smoothing serum, because my hair gets super frizzy after I blow-dry it. As I'm sure you can see now you can start to see it coming together. A little bit more now now, I'm using red tuned rough taste and rough paste, yeah can't talk, and I'm just rubbing that on my fingers and then doing the tips of my hair, making them pointy don't put too much of this stuff in or you'll end up With a weird texture in your hair, I don't know, I don't even know how to describe it, but it's weird girl - and this is how this one looks - the messy forward and always always always remember - to check the back of your hair, guys and girls. If you have short hair like what the make sure you check it, I hate when people to have like this weird knotted or like weird heart line, and I don't know it just I hate it. I hate it make sure your back looks is good too. Okay, girl and I'm reading it to do the next look um just so you guys know I will not be putting any more plastic or that gel in. You only need to do that once right after you get out of the shower. The only thing I'll be using from now on is the red. Can rough paste just to point my hair once I've styled it, so that just goes to show that you really really don't need a lot like this is. This is how I style my hair normally like I'll sleep on it I'll wake up in the morning. I'Ll just wet it and then I'll be style it. So you don't need a lot of products. You need to have a lot of product, not use a lot of product if that makes sense. So I just did the same thing. I parted my hair in the way that I wanted to style it and I'm go dying. It and a good thing to get natural volume is to blow dry your hair in the way that you want to style it and then in the opposite way. For a couple seconds so that it kind of gives a natural lift without any topping or anything like that. Oh I just completely lied to you. I do use the gel one more time. I think I use it more in the back yeah because I didn't really get enough in the back the first time. But after this I promise I use just the red kitten stuff - hmm well now, I'm just tucking my hair with a little toughing brush and by all means. If you want to rewatch those feel free to mute me and put some, you know, six tunes on or something just ideas like. I said the rough paste again and just going on the very tips of my hair making the pointy, because remember you want to keep your hair as light as possible so that it stays up. If you put too much product and it'll just weigh your hair down and it'll continue going flat on you, especially for people with thick hair. Like me, while computer sounds a book about to launch off again and now this is all just styling and picking us basically and now this is just a medium hold hairspray, just to kind of keep it up, and then I start parting, my hair and spraying more At the roots, because I find that that just helps keep my hair upwards, rather than spraying on the tips of my hair, because that makes the hair heavier obviously weighing it down. This is the final look guys. Oh look at me singing to myself. That'S it to you again check the back and ignore all my weird neck movements, the mirror that I was like the other mirror that was on the ground was like too low. So I had to like do some weird so that I could see the back of my head. You know what, as a this, is my favorite look nothing and now we are going to do basically the same look boat with bangs, Oh ah so ship and now this is just a quick little Feeny look for the days when you really don't feel like doing Anything with your hair. I think it's good to have a couple of these because they do look cute, especially in winter girl and now for the faux hawk yeah-yo now, because my hair is so long, especially at the front i faux hawk. My hair, like i, took my hair up and then i kind of push it back because because my hair is still too long for a faux hawk on the top, if I left it just straight up like this, it's pretty tall, like some people, can rock that. But I'm just saying, if you didn't want to you, can push it a little bit backwards like I do just to make the faux hawk, not stand up so high, remember to check for bath. I can't stress that enough. I just stand now. I'M just spraying a little bit more firm hold in there just to keep it upright, and I just thought I'd show you some accessories to go with the faux hawk to grill it up a bit more because it is kind of a pun to your look. But if you are a girly girl, you can still rock it. Oh sneezes, oh and now the mad scientist Wow this one's just silly and fun. So I'm just blow-drying my bangs down a bit more cuz they're a bit too like pushed out like a mix between the fauxhawk and the bangs. Basically, it's basically like a psycho panics. If you have other pixie hairstyles or things like that. That you'd like me to try to do for you guys mention them in the comments below these are some of the ones that I see that I thought were cool bot cooled and don't forget that, like these accessories, like the bows and the headbands or the flowers, They can be added on to any of the hairstyles, not just this fauxhawk one also, you can use bobby pins to like pin your hair back and things like that. I tried that I don't personally really like how it looks on me just cuz. My hair is so short, I'm not as well designed with it, but um yeah. I will have a list of all the products that I used below. If you want to go and check those out, you don't need to get all the products, the ones that I would recommend the most would be the plus deep extreme volumizer, which is this one which goes on when your hair is wet this one for sure. Once your hair is dry, you put this on and this stuff you only put on on the roots. This is pretty much a a gel form of the dust powder. It'S like toughing powder. You know you sprinkle some on your head and then you tap it up. This is like that, except it's a gel form and it's a lot lighter on your hair and then the toughing powder is the toughing powder sometimes makes your hair too heavy, and so it can fall flat. The key to having like hair like this that sticks straight up is you want your hair to be really light, but have enough product in it that and texture that it basically stands up on its own. So yes, you're going to want this you're gon na want some, so it doesn't have to be this one, not specific Lior, and then it doesn't have to be any of these specifics, but I'm just showing you what I have. This is just a smoothing fluid. So it smoothes and it shines your hair. I have to use this because I have thick hair and it's kind of frizzy when dries or when I'm drying it with my blow-dryer. So there's that and then this redkin texturizing, what are they rough paste, is what it's called you're gon na need that just to bring your hair into points, um cuz! That'S how you get this these, like it's like pointy effect on all your hairs, otherwise they're frizzed out and they all just kind of blend together, like you, don't realize things like that with long hair, but you do is short, so those four products for sure like I would say for sure for sure: well the shine one shining smoothing one you don't need if you have like silky, smooth hair, basically cuz, that's gon na actually end up making your hair harder to do, but for sure these three and then, if you want to Get a hairspray just to help hold it throughout the day. This is an extreme firm holding. This is the type that makes your hair crunchy, so I'll use just a tiny bit of it. Cuz again, I don't want to eat, make my hair too heavy or else it'll fall, but I'll I'll use a little bit of it. If I really want certain pieces to like stop moving around and then this one is like a medium to light hold, so that's good for like hairstyles like this, when you want it to like bounce up, bounce off, does hair bounce up. I don't even know what you want it to like. Stick up. I guess, unless you have like, I guess longer, hair than this you're gon na really want to spray that on to make sure it stays up. But that's just you know information for another time, but yeah like with short hair. The key is having good products and things like that, and like things like that, having good products and knowing how to use them like as you've seen, I the only thing I use of this tiny toughing brush, and this is optional. I can get my hair to stand up without toughing it, but you might want to get this just to speed things along and help you with it. But yeah. As you seen most of the things I used was just my hands a blow dryer and then some of the products. So it's actually really easy to get fun. Hairstyles like this. It it just takes the right tools pretty much but yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed this. I hope you learned something um if you recreate any of these hairstyles or have any other ideas that you would like me to try. Please mention them in the comments below and I'll try and make another video on other different pixie hairstyles. If I get enough ideas, I guess and oh one other thing I wanted to mention is because I'm getting into heavy assignments and finals are coming up. I'M not sure if I'll be posting every Sunday just for a couple of weeks, I'm done on December 13th. So you'll definitely have a video after that umm, if you do have videos they're gon na be short ones like this, like just quick ones that I can do like that, like I might do maybe like an everyday look or something like that, like I really just Don'T have the time to so if you have, if I do end up putting up videos, they're gon na be just quick little quick vents until December 13th, just because I'm super busy, but if I don't, I really hope you guys understand, but definitely after December 13th. I will have I'll be coming back strong with some videos before Christmas. I maybe do some Christmas looks for you guys I don't know yet um, but yeah. Please subscribe to my channel. If you haven't already. I believe it's I don't know it's one of its down here somewhere, please subscribe, enjoy the madness that happens here. Oliver Hatched: So cute! I had a pixie cut in high school for 3 years. Mature people loved it and said I looked just like Twiggy! But everyone in high school started rumors about me being a lesbians and bullied me, and the one day I didn't wear makeup, a waitress referred to me as "he". DESPITE MY BOOBIES. Devestated, my hair is now shoulder length. People are judgemental buttheads.

Coopdizzle: Great ideas for a few months from now. I lost my hair to chemo and can't wait until it gets long enough to do some of this.

Bri Guerrero: YES. FINALLY. CUTE HAIR TUTORIALS FOR PIXIES. I ALREADY LOVE YOU.

Posh Boy: Had this haircut, pulling off different styles for 4 years I've gone really short, and growing it out more, the top part of my hair is now at my cheek bone. I'm letting it do whatever it feels likes doing because it's naturally curly and I'm embracing it. But now, I'm learning new styles from you, so thank you

Victoria w: step 1 to rocking a pixie cut: get a pixie cut. there done. now youre hella cute. just like that

Natasha Sparks: This has helped me so much. I got my hair cut short last month and I've been able to style it but I really wanted to do some other stuff rather than my regular routine. It also helped with some of the products I needed. Thank you so much

Jasmine Lowe: Yessssss! Having long hair (for me) was exhausting! I LOVE having a pixie haircut! Easy styling, easy to maintain, plus it's a matter of choice if you want to look girly girly or rock chic and etc. I am still practicing different hairstyles though. Lol but I like this video! Awesome hair girl!

Izzy Fitzsimon: My hair used to be a really long bob but I cut it mid ear and I love it so much it’s so easy too! And also just a quick tip for being faster in the shower (but ONLY for pixie cuts) I don’t use conditioner in my hair so it has more volume in the day so I take about 5 minutes in the shower!

ItsAlvaa: Yasss, thanks. I have the exact same haircut as you and I've never found anything to do with it so this really helped me!

Amèthyste Morelle-Noire: I really like your tutorial. I have a pixie haircut as I was too lazy to take care of my long hair. I am definitely going to try the second look in this video. Very cute.

Nina-Kristine Johnson: Thank you. I have a pixie (which I LOVE! ; long hair just couldn't work for me). Couldn't do much with it. Your video is inspiring. ^_^ My hair is "baby fine", so it looks odd if left un-styled. When it was long: it would easily get tangled and was horrible to wash. Took forever to rinse the conditioner. Fine hair problems.

Courtney RN: I love this cut on you! I'm a RN so I cannot have creative colors like blues, green, or purple but there are no rules about cuts. So I'm thinking about going short to have some fun with my hair and get the hair out of my face because it's so thick (migraines everyday thick). This gives me confidence to try this cut

Paula Truss: I recently just got a pixie cut but had idea what to use in my hair and this helped a bunch! Thank you (:

JessC (Jesi): I have fine hair, but a lot of it...thank you for the product recommendations, particularly Plastique and Rough Paste...they really work great!

Callous: Yesterday I was at the hairdresser, showed this video from you and said: "I want my hair exactly like her!" ( I had a much longer pixie cut before) And now I'm super happy with the result! I tried out all of these styles and it's a bless to don't have any hairs in the face :'D I love your videos, thanks! Nice greets from Germany :)

Carina Paul: I'm glad I found this thanks I have a short hair cut and I'm bored with the same look I didn't use heating tools because I didn't know how. I have them all laying around too. Going to try your part 2 styles and finish watching this one thanks

PoisonMango: Thank you so much for this video! I have super long hair and I want to cut it into a pixie cut but obviously since I have long hair I know next to nothing about styling short hair, but this video was very informative and I think i'm going to go for it :D

Victoria M.: I'm getting a pixie cut in exactly 9 days but I've been really fucking nervous about how it's gonna turn out and how to style it, now you've made me so excited I can't wait to play with it, all those hairstyles are soooo cute !

Bexxa: Thank you!I got a pixie today and I want to learn different styles.

Madison: I'm growing out my shaved spot which can be awkward especially when my hair is all pretty short. I wanted to chop it all off but i didn't know how i would cut it or how i would style it, but now i do. Thanks!

lanie mcbride: 15:46 is my favorite style though (sorry for blowing up comments but I just love this video) thank you for the styles

Sarah Connell: I like using th eproduct beach babe for my pixie. It keeps it fluffy like you are doing, yet it also keeps it stiff-ish like hair spray but it's only a salt spray. I like it lots! :)

Ashley Kaaihue: I love this. You have convinced me. I wanna chop mine off now!

Ronja Kjær: This helped me so much! I'm about to cut of all my hair to donate it, and I was really afraid that my hair was gonna be really messy, but now I got some ideas to style my hair. I'm cutting it off the 20th July. I'm exited! :D

Kerry Kaos: Lol I absolutely love this video. You sound just like me when I first cut mine through lockdown. Long to Bob to really short .Your sooo cute and funny x

That Spooky Lifestyle: Amanda Case Hey! I have pretty thick hair but I am constantly thinning it, I think having thinner hair might actually be better for this hairstyle, as long as you have good products to help style it :)

Nichole Shaw: watching your videos like a stalker. you have inspired me to finally get a pixie. i try tl style like you've shown. my color is like yours when you went to Mexico. black with red in the front. look foward to stalking new tutorials. lol

Alex Harris: Hey! Great vid. I've been thinking I want my hair like this for a while now, but I'm curious; my hair used to be so curly when I was younger but because I've straightened it a lot, it seems to just go frizzy now once it's been washed. So is it likely if I got a pixie cut it would go curly or straight?

Fun At 14: Thanks so much. I did decide to cut my hair. I dress styles all the time. Love it

Verona: All of these are so cute!! I've never seen anyone with the Faux hawk but it looks so amazing on you!

yuki eiri: hi! I love ur vid. I got my pixie about 3wks ago.at first I was madly hesitant cos the last time I had my hair shortest people told me I looked like a boy. I've been thinking of cutting it short for over a year already then just ta-dah!! Summer triggered my decision this year. And my friends love it. Even my colleagues kept saying it looks chic and fierce. I'm having the best responses in my 23yrs of life. Thanks to your video I'll be able to style it in more ways. I only have holding wax in me, now I know what other products I could use. And yeah I'll subscribe and watch more of your tutorials. Xoxo
