Hi everyone, so I'm back with a new video. This one is a hair video. I'M going to show you how I trim my hair but disclaimer, I'm not a professional, and I would suggest going to a professional, maybe every two months or so because after trimming it every soft and it will the shape of the haircut so yeah. I would suggest going to a hairstylist every two months, I'll having a pixie cut does require a lot of maintenance. That'S why I just trimming myself to avoid having my hair look kind of fluffy and the back is just kind of going all places so yeah, I'm going to show you how I do it okay. So this is what you'll need you're going to need some water to what your here and I need a comb, something and clip your hair down. You can use a bobby pin whatever you would like and, most importantly you're, going to need to twinkle hair cutter. You can easily find this on eBay or Amazon and for super cheap. So now that you have all your materials, let's get started so the first thing I'm going to do is just comb all this middle section forward. Just so I can have the side sections ready for me to just trim. So now I'm rocking this weird hairstyle, but we have the side sections ready to be trimmed. So before I do that, I'm gon na grab some water and spray one side make sure it's nice and what then I'm going to grab the comb and just comb through the hair. I mean there's gon na be any tangles, but you know you just want to make sure it's nice. What now I'm gon na grab the tinkle hair cutter, which the name is ridiculous, but you know what it works. There'S two sides there's this one, which is wider. Don'T use this if you have a pixie cut, you will take off so much hair yeah! Don'T do it use this one with the teeth closer together that that way, you won't take off too much hair and also have a trash can near you, because there will be here, and you don't want to leave here everywhere in the bathroom or whatever you trim. Your hair, so yeah, I'm gon na grab it and it's very simple. You just comb through just like a regular Coe. It'S that simple um, hopefully you'll, have a nice mirror in front of you. So you can see what you're doing it's kind of difficult with a camera right in front of you, but you just want to make sure you trim to your desired length and my hair is very thick. So I just want to really get rid of all the volume here, so I'm going to keep going just comb through just like you would with a regular one, don't like too much pressure. The razor should do its job so take a little off the sideburns. I'M going to start again from the top and down you see there will be here so I'm gon na stop talking and just trim my hair. Now, I'm gon na fast forward it so it doesn't take forever. Okay, now that I'm done with the science and the back, I think it looks a lot less fluffy, which I like and yeah. I think it looks pretty good so now that I'm done with that, I can take off the crazy hair that I have and you're left with the longer middle portion, and for that I'm just going to sweep it the way I usually sigh lit. So for me it's to my left and I have my bangs down, so I can easily trim them and I'm just going to begin cutting almost to the side, I'm not going like that. I'M just kind of giving the bangs some form by going sideways, and now you can just comb through it very simple. So that's pretty much it it's a very simple process, which I do every two to three weeks, depending on how fluffy my hair looks when you have a pixie cut you just known as hair growth really quickly, and it's not necessarily that the hair grows quickly. It'S just since the length is so short any hair growth you're just going to notice it way more than when you have long hair. I would suggest going to a professional every two to three months, just to get a cut and actually give it some shape, because by trimming it you're just not necessarily giving it shape, she's, just reducing some of the fluffiness and frizziness of your hair. It'S just a way to save you money so that way, you're not going to like a barber shop or your hairstylist every two weeks, because that would eventually add up. You just buy this thing, which is less than ten dollars. You do it yourself and then you know you spend your money and get it done every so often so yeah just some money-saving tips, and this is how my hair turned out. It looks a lot better than it did when I first started recording. So I'm happy and that's all that matters, so I hope you enjoyed this video and if you want more pixie cut related videos. Just let me know in the comments below I hope you enjoyed this and I'll see you guys very soon. Bye. You

Emily Wallner: I bought a Tinkle thanks to your articles in your blog and this video. I used a combination of both sides of the razor comb, and took out a ton of hair-- mine is baby fine, but there is a lot of it. I shaped my side-swept section and texturized the other sections. It looks awesome, makes my head feel a lot lighter than the overgrown pixie I had going on, and is even easier to style. I am so glad I found out about it! This will cut my salon visits by at least half for sure. Thanks, Laura!

monalisaaa: I've rocked short hair for so long; its post-bob length and you're making me so tempted to make it a pixie cut!

Krystal C.: Awesome to know! Thanks for the tip. I was able to find the exact hair cutter at a local beauty store for $3.99. Looking forward to using it!

Nicholls Francois: 10 days ago I got a pixie and I cut my hair 3 times since then because they didnt cut it like I wanted to (pixie cut is not that popular here in Mexico), after watching your video definitely will buy a comb because it looks so good ni you, and you're right, with a cut like this you notice each millimeter growing, great video you are awesome! :)

youareirrelevant1: When I had my pixie, I struggled so much to trim it. THIS IS AMAZING. HOW AM I NOW SEEING THIS?

Katie Hawley: I'm a couple months into my grow-out process, and i already want my pixie back! I have curly hair, so when I first got it cut it looked great and didn't curl, but then it grew a little bit and it started curling in all the wrong places and I had to use a straight iron almost every day. Now I'm considering buying this comb to keep my pixie short without paying for a hair trim every month, which adds up. Thanks for this video, I'm so going to get one and more than likely get it cut again :D you look stunning btw!! <3

Lauren Fairweather: Gosh, this is ridiculously helpful. THANK YOU!! I really love the way my hair looks when I get it cut professionally, but he keeps raising his prices so now I have super fluffy hair most of the time.

Jarof Clay: Don't let the hair cutter industry see this! Great video. I just cut my hair for the first time (guy hair) and it works incredibly well. The only thing I need to learn how to do is trim an even neck line.

Aly : Yay! thanks so much for a great video! These tips will definitely help me keep my pixie looking sharp! ps. you're beautiful :)

Carpe Bacardi: Brilliant video, just tried this comb and was really pleased with the end result! No doubt it will save me a lot of money in the future :) Many thanks!

Anne Thiel: SO helpful! Thank you, and look fabulous!

Kate Poplett: I really enjoyed this video, thank you for making it. BTW your hair looks great like that.

david koos: beautiful tutorial. Thanks !

Serena: oh my god you look GORGEOUS with a pixie cut. I almost got one but I was a little bit too scared. I ended up with super short hair but more like a super short bob. This is absolutely stunning

Hope Moskal: Thank you for this. I got a pixie cut a month ago and already the sides and back are overgrown. Going to try this later this week.

JL: Nice job, I have a pixie cut also and in two weeks it's growing our over my ears! great tip, I will try the trimmer!

Sara Tangen: Love your hair and the tutorial! Maybe others aren't as dumb as me, but I ended up going over the lower parts on the back of my head more than once, you know...to make sure I didn't miss anything?! Wellll... I ended up pretty much shaving my hair off at the nape of my neck. Note to beginners: only go over each section once!

Linda Dieckhoff: Thank U. In these days of no salons open this really helped me even tho my hair is not a pixie cut. The Tinkle tool is wonderful. Thank U again.

S Shelton: Such a great help!! And I already have this hair razor costed about $2 at the local beauty supply store

Laura Neuzeth: You're very welcome! That hair cutter should last you MONTHS! I bought mine about 5 months ago and it's still going strong. Since you won't be using the other side once the razor gets dull you can just pop the thing open and flip the razor so you can start using the unused side. :-)

Tai Lovesyou: Just got my comb! So exited to use it! Thank you so much for this video!

Shelley9090: Wow! This was super helpful. Ordered my Tinkle right after watching. Thanks so much.

Beatriz Nieves: love your cut!!! currently growing out my hair from a pixie and my bangs finally reach my brows and now i saw this and i really wanna cut them off again x)

TheNaturalBeauty85: Thanks for this video! Very helpful!!! :-)

Caren Sanvictores: So helpful! I just ordered the razors right after watching!

Inez Patino: Thanks for the helpful video. I just ordered my Tinkle comb, can't wait for it to arrive!

Kjerstin GREN: This was so helpful thank you!

Waiting2soar13: Hey laura please let me know i used to use this for trims as well now that i am growing my pixie i feel it looks split or damaged and i take extremely good care of it. Hopefully once it grows wont be more noticable!

Chark: Just ordered the Tinkle Comb and I am so grateful I found your video... This little mullet bit growing in the back is about to be longgggg gone :) Thank you!

Vanessa Soward: I'm not 100% comfortable going to salons even for a trim, and I purchased this on Amazon and have been using it now for months. It really comes in handy. This video helped me a lot when it comes to my pixie cut, so thank you! Hehe!

keslc: Just got my tinkle comb in the mail! It was like $3.00 with shipping from Amazon! I will post a video of me using it tomorrow!

Sarah Luebker: Great job! I am going on Amazon to check the tinkle tool, thank you, you look amazing

sanmacthom: I'm so glad I found your video. My pixie seems to get puffy rather quickly and I really don't have the time or money to go often. I bought the Tinkle Hair Cutter and will try this tonight.

masterkdn: Thanks for sharing! Very helpful :)

Maria Medeiros: Omg I got confused and checked out snapchat to see if you cut your hair recently. I absolutely LOVE this hair style!! I adore it!! It looks amazing on you. Great video. ❤️

Ray George: Great video! I have longer hair, and want to thin it out. My hair is incredibly thick!

Emily Rivera-Fontanez: We have the same hair, I need this! I'm so glad I saw this. You're so pretty btw

Dankest Editz: Thank you so so much. Bought me tinkle comb for $6. Saved me $$24 for my usual trim :) Yay

SupB: God this is super helpful thank you! I've had this for 3 weeks and hate it lmao the hairdresser gave me an asian pixie cut and botched it. You look cute with one (ik its old but yeah haha)

AshesOfRoses: Just got one from Amazon. Going to use it tomorrow but was looking for demo. Yours was fantastic. Thanks so much. Hopefully I won't scalp myself or be too lopsided. Wish my hair was as thick as yours. ⛸

Kat Huang: Nice! I just got my Tinkle Hair Cutter in the mail and I'm anxious to try it out on my pixie. :)

Toy Collector TV: Oh my gosh...mind. blown.  I can related to the fluffiness thing after a couple weeks.  I have a love/hate thing with my pixie.  Love it for about 2 weeks/hate the remaining time before my next appointment.  Thank you so much for posting this!  And the pixie looks SO adorable on you!

J. C.R.: Great job! You look so pretty! I just bought that same comb today!!! Yay!

Laura Neuzeth: I'm very glad you found it helpful! I hope the razor works out for you. :-)

221Z :]: thanks!! my bangs are super long and the hair stylist didnt really do anything about them so now i guess this will do.... I suck at doing my own hair so i hope i dont mess it all up xD... one more thing, what kind of products do you use to style your awesome pixie?

THE_PURPLE_ROSE: TY TY TY,  I finally found a useful video, on how to cut my spiky hair, with the Tinkle Razor comb.  I did it and I look like I just left the salon.  Plus, I saved $22.00.  I bought it on Amazon, cheap,  Again, thank you.

Barbi520: Really helpful. Thank you.

Joan Veit: You made it look so easy,,,I do have that same trimmer,,,I will try trimming my pixie

Emily Ottaviano: I know this is an older video, but it's very helpful. I was wondering if the razor comb takes off length?

harahara: Omg you look gorgeous with this short hair!

Krystal C.: Thank you for this tutorial! My pixie cut is at the poofy stage and I really want to save money by trimming it myself. Totally going to invest in that hair cutter! ;)

Laura Neuzeth: +Emily Wallner You're welcome! I'm so glad this tutorial was able to help you. :-)

choccobee: Just bought myself one of these because I got a trim recently but the woman who didn't just didn't cut it short enough, and I still look like I've got a bit of a mullet! Can't afford to get another trim so I thought I'd try to do it myself, and your video is really helpful, thank you! Hoping I won't screw it up though....

Miss Melissa Em: Great video gorgeous! I know what you mean about noticing any hair growth, I can't get to a hairdresser and its bugging me so much lol

Kate Parker: What are your thoughts on combing the razor different directions for longer sections? Can this tool be used for thinning in places where the teeth of the comb would not be close to the scalp? This video is fantastic and I've just ordered a Tinkle Hair Cutter, but I want to make sure I use it right! My pixie is a little longer and I'm growing it out to a bob, but I need to be able to maintain the back so it doesn't get scruffy and start to flip where it hits my neck, as well as keeping the weight on the top from getting weird. I love my stylist but she charges sooooo much, and for maintenance I need something more affordable. Thanks :)

Olivia Fagin: Your hair is so perfect like this! :D

Laura Neuzeth: You should! It's so cheap and since you won't be using both sides of the razor once one side gets dull you can always switch it to the sharp side so your Tinkle razor will last twice as long. :-)

Laura Neuzeth: Thank you! I know how you feel! D: Before I found out about the hair cutter I my hair was almost covering my ears and it was bugging me so much. lol

Aether: Oh my god, this helped me so much!

Life Unpaged: They sell something similar at Sally, just ran out and got one...so excited to save $$$ on haircuts for my pixie!

Tom Schneider: Hi Laura, you did a fantastic job on your hair. I hate going to the hairdresser so it can be very helpful for me too I with you could cut my hair ‍♂️

Helena Oops: Hello my dear! Thank you for the video! Nice tuto! Have a great weekend!

Татьяна♡Осми: I want this haircut so bad I need those trimming tools asap!!!

Desirae Vaccaro: I have a pixie and have very thick hair. I need that comb in my life! I'm tired of getting a haircut every three weeks

Laura Neuzeth: Aww thanks! Haha You're welcome. I was always a little skeptical about this tool also until I gave it a go.

JessicaClareMeow: OH MY GOODNESS YOU LOOK SO STINKIN ADORABLE WITH THAT SHORT PIXIE!!

Skii Maxson: I know this video is really old but I love your hair super short like this!

BackToJellyfishMatters: Where do you get replacement blades for this?

TheCanadiangirl4: Wow, you look really good with a pixie cut!

CostuRusia: First time I trimmed was perfect. On the second time, I cut it horrible. The good thing is that it grow in 3 weeks. I already purchased the comb.

Peggy Albin: Where do I get that razor comb? I love it and the magic you create with it

Laura Neuzeth: Thank you! :-)

keslc: I totally need that razor comb!!!

Laura Neuzeth: I'm currently thinking about growing it out. I still love my pixie but I keep looking pictures of last year when I had a bob and I want my bob back. But I'll be rocking the pixie till the end of the year. I'm still not 100% sure if I want to start the process of growing out my hair in January.

Lori Bianca: Just bought that comb for my pixie- hope I don't jack my hair up too much ... Lol. Thanks for the tutorial . Very helpful.

Laura Neuzeth: You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it. :-) Have a great weekend as well.

SunnySunshine Harvey: I have a Jilbere double-ended cutting comb, razors with two different guards on one side and comb on the other end and a Conair four-sided trimmer thing, not sure what to call it, and I feel like I've been doing it wrong, seeing how your trimming comes out. I've been known to accidentally take out strips of hair, to the point where I need to go get it fixed or just wear a bandana until it grows back out.. I'm thinking about taking some clippers to my hair again but I dunno. I hate paying someone so much money to possibly mess it up and I usually have to wait until my husband or someone else in the house is going in the direction of the salon I like to go to.. ::sigh:: :D

Glady Dalton: I needed this so bad!

Jim Powers: Thanks so much. I can tell you're a really nice person and you care about people I subscribed to your channel and I gave you a like and I hit the Bell so I will get future videos from you bless your heart for helping people understand this is a good product

Lindsay Doyle: I'm going to try this today to trim up and shape my pixie. Have the little tinkler lol, we will see what happens

Thranduil's Eyebrows: this video has saved my life, thank you.

Robin Goh: Very nice!

Tanya Sherwood: Love this

hamburgmario1: You so pretty for you self Pixie! I love it and you so sweet for short Hair

Jess Huish: so you basically just comb it through with the razor?

Madison Hamrick: Does it seem to work better on wet hair?

Venus: doesn’t this thin out ur hair?

Caitlin Elisabeth: you and your pixie are adorable!

AllthingsSweet:): i am thinking about getting that razor for when i get my pixie again.

teri day: It does look nice shorter the better
