Jojo Siwa Chops Off Signature Ponytail

Victoria Williams: The cut is perfect for her face. I think she'll find that she loves that cut and will keep it, or variations of it, for a long time to come. Having long hair for years and then going that short feels absolutely liberating. You no longer have to deal with the problems that come with having long hair. Like what to do with it at night to keep it from wrapping around your neck.

I'm sad as I've been watching JoJo Siwa ever since she was on Dance Moms way back in the day all the way up until about half a year ago when she stopped posting content on her YouTube. The reason I'm sad is because one of JoJo Siwa's most signature looks was her long hair and bow. I absolutely loved how JoJo Siwa pushed the narrative of "Yes I'm in my mid then late teens, yes I'm rocking this look which is often seen as more child like but that's okay!" I'm happy for her because she feels like she wants to take a leap into a new chapter in her life and if that's what makes her happy then I'm very happy for her!  I hope she comes back to YouTube though..... She has over 12M Subscribers and she herself hasn't posted a video since November of last year so we're now on Month 7 since she herself has made a video. It's honestly gotten to a point where I'm doubting if she'll ever make content on YouTube again and that makes me very sad. (While she 2 videos posted since November of 2021 both were made by big fans and not JoJo herself).

But I’m a little bit upset she doesn’t wear her bows anymore those were her thing up until last year. And then she cut her signature high poly tail off. And made her hair a grown out Mohawk. One of the ladies who we go to church with now and went to church with her at the church before the church we go to now. So we knew her before abundant life church in Georgetown Delaware where we go to church now. So we met her when we were going to laurel nazarene church. The last church we went to before abundant life church. So we loved it at laurel Nazarene but me and my mom went to a Saturday morning service and a Sunday morning service at abundant life. Almost 3 years ago. Back in I think in October of 2019. We went to two services. And they had a special speaker a guy named Mr. Michael Miller. And he had his team and there was a guy named Ben with him on his team. And Mr. Michael Miller prayed over my mom. And Mr Ben one of the guys on his team he brought with him prayed over me. And then we started going to Wednesday night Bible study. And I wasn’t being quiet the first night and very rudely by a lady named Ms. Bren she was Mrs. Bren at the time. Her full name is Brenda but she goes by Bren. But she’s not even there anymore. Because her Ex husband who was still her husband at the time. Mr Howdy his full name is Howard but everyone calls him Howdy. Who is such a goofball. and sometimes I say he’s trouble not like trouble In a bad way like trouble in a funny way. He may be a goofball but he’s a really good guy. And he still goes to the church. So him and Ms. Bren got divorced and she moved and her Daughter Lily who was living here but moved to Nashville because she had been going back and forth from there to here In Delaware because she wad doing music stuff down there so often that she moved there but she always comes back to visit a lot she’s actually getting here today but she’s just here for the weekend and won’t change her mind and stay longer then she said like she said she was going back this day the first time and then she ended up changing her mind and going back on a later date then she was originally going to go back. Part of the reason she’s coming this weekend is because her older brother Robert and his wife are having another child. Then I think have two and I have met him once because he came one Sunday and sang on the worship team with Lily. And he has a really good voice. And He can play guitar. And Lily can play Piano Guitar and Ukulele. And she has a younger brother named trip which it actually means triple. And his actual name is Howard border the third. But his dad goes by howdy. And I think his grandfather goes by howdy or Howard. And Trip goes to the same church. So if there both near you and you call one of them over to you and they both went by howdy. Unless one of them went by howdy and the Other one went by Howard. But if they both have the full name Howard and all of a sudden the one that went by howdy also wanted to go by Howard instead of going by howdy anymore that would be a little confusing. Unless you pointed a finger at the one you wanted to talk to and pointed at that one and said this Howard I’m pointing at you cone here. The other Howard stay where you are. So then it wouldn’t be confusing. But his dad would probably go by Mr. Howard and he would just go by Howard without the Mr. In front of it. So it wouldn’t be confusing if we did that. So Lily and Ms. Bren don’t talk anymore because they don’t get along because her dad broke up with her mom. And I but none of her other kids talk to her either. And we don’t see trip a lot because he’s usually working on Sundays now.
