This video has been requested a lot of times. Thank you to those that want to see both the long style haircut from short hair and the styles video in one single video. Thanks for visiting our videos, make sure you come back to see more.

Hi, i'm madonna from boys and girls hairstyles.com. Today i have rebecca and we are going to chop her hair off. She wants something fun easy and she wants to do something kind of spiky and fun here um. So i think what i'm going to do is start from her crown and get kind of the length we want here and then work from this length go to the back, just make it kind of really lots of fun. Okay, i'm going to take a section on this top and you can see how how long you want this i'm going to want hers to kind of go short and spiky up a little bit to a little a little bit longer. So i am going to angle my fingers this way and i'm just going to kind of chop into this this way. Okay, then i'm gon na go from this piece and just chop that too, you can kind of see that start to stand up really cute. Okay, then, i'm gon na come at a 90 degree angle and come back here. Okay, now i'm going to come down angle this towards um her head this way. So it's going to angle in a little bit: okay, i'm just going to wet this down. Okay, just chop into that just hold it straight out: okay, we're just gon na. Let that part hang until we get the rest of this cut and then we'll work on the back. Okay, so come up here again just point cut into that: i'm going to go back through texturize. It use the razor a little bit, give it some fun chunky, stuff again just point cut into this: okay, now, okay, on this side, part when you get to the side, i'm going to come straight, just kind of chop into that 90 degree angle. If you want, you can cut the length all off at first. If you want so it's not in your way or you can just go along and cut it off as you go. Okay just hold that out, rebecca always does fun things. She'Ll grow her hair out. Then she'll chop it off and do something fun, and so i'm glad she let us record it fun. We'Re just going to take this over the ear. This way straight out, i mean not over straight out. Okay then come this way got lots of kids coming in and out don't mind us bye, guys. Okay, just come down that back. Like i said after we get this done, then we'll come to the back and kind of finish, cutting that okay. So just pull that straight out from the ear right there. Okay, now before we get to the front we're going to come back to this back. In fact, i'm going to take a razor, and i'm just going to take this and kind of go in at this. She has some calyx right here: i'm not going to do a blunt cut, we're just going to kind of take this razor just so this is different back here. Just hold that out a little and take a little bit of that. Okay, now i'm going to spray down this front, okay. So what we're going to want to do? I'M going to kind of cut these sides the way i want them her her back ends about the bottom of her ear. Here, i'm going to take this hair hold it this way, i'm going to come by her ear and i'm just going to kind of go back and forth with my shears cut that off okay now this is all one length, because we just cut all that length Off okay, so we're going to want to take this hair, we're going to hold this out, and you just take your shears and just chop into that. Hold this piece out. Okay, then see it seems a little. I'M thick here spray this a little bit. You just want the hair wet when you razor okay, i'm going to take this razor and i'm going to come in and chunk this out just so. It'S really piecy, especially over the ears, because we don't want it too too bulky over the ears. You kind of see that lighting that up right there, okay, then we'll wet this down. Okay, gon na hold this out chop into that. Okay. Now i'm going to turn her this way, so you guys can see again just kind of come to the front and you can see where her length is and about where the ear where the hair goes by the ear. So again just come on that side. Same thing, just back and forth, or you know, open and shut your shears okay, take this chop into that a little take some of that bulk out. Okay, now again with the razor i'm gon na come in texture, this real good by the ears. We want this piecy, so when we style it, you know we can style it pc, okay, okay, then just come in front and get this wet see how it's going to fall. I think we just need to cut this a tiny bit, so i'm going to wet this down because, like i say you don't want to take the razor to dry hair and i'm going to start up in this front and just barely take that hair off. Just so, this is going to be really wispy when we style this. Okay, now up through this top, i'm going to take thinning, shears, okay, texturizing shears, i'm going to bring it up about an inch just take those scissors in there and it's okay. Some people think on thin hair that they probably shouldn't do this um. It makes short little hairs in your hair, so the other hair will stand on top of it. So my personal opinion, i love it because i think it really helps a hairstyle have a body. Okay, go ahead and check out the styling video after this and i'll show you how to style this haircut hi, i'm rodona from boys and girls hairstyles.com. We just did this short fun haircut on rebecca and i'm going to show you how to style it. I like to use, add volume. It'S a root and body lift i'm going to take this all through her hair kind of up here in the top just through the roots. Then i'm just going to rub that in and then again i'm going to use the mousse that i love and put that in. How are you come on in go ahead and sit? Okay, all right, so i've got the root lifter in and the mousse. Now i'm going to take a blow dryer this back, i'm just going to go down so from about here around i'm going to kind of blow up, not totally uh kind of straight on, but a little bit up. Okay! Now, let's press on this top you're! Obviously, just going to try it just straight up. Just take your fingers straight up with it, where i put it, it just totally stands up: okay, we're gon na use a flower! So, okay, now i'm going to take this flat iron. I'M going to take these pieces right here, you're just going to want to just go straight up with it just through this back too right there, okay, and the way that i'm going to want to style this okay see so i've already started to see right here. I'M going to want some shorter pieces, so i'm going to just hold this up chop into that dry. Then you can always just take your shears from where you start that short piece just kind of go down that way. So you don't have a total long and short okay. Now i'm going to take distortion up through this top distortion is from ice that styling gum i'm just going to grab it. This just kind of take this bottom and just piece this out. Okay, now i'm going to take this is from hairplay it's a molding paste, and what i'm going to do is just take some of this. Just rub it in your hands: real good, okay! I'Ve got a little bit too much, i'm just going to rub a little bit off. Okay, i'm going to take this to the flat iron, barely kind of push this back kind of flip. That up. I just want to piece this out just piece out these sides. Okay, i'm gon na turn her to the mirror for just a second okay.

Linda Denton: I absolutely love this short haircut! I loved the expertise of the stylist with all her texturizing etc. that she put into the cut! I would love to see her do more short styles! Please!

Felicity Nightingale: A work of art! I wore my hair like that back in 2013, too.

diana draghici: Brava, molto semplice e di effetto!

Chippy L: LOVE this cut! I'm due for one, this is what I'm gonna show my stylist.

Madelaine Seguin: I've never seen a haircut start at the top! Love it!

yolanda vargas: Maravilloso, gracias por compartir abrazo grande

Paddy Arthur Mudd: This video realy defines how razor cutting can ruin a hairdo. The client already has fine and thin hair which only is almost made worse by the razor cutting that dosnt compliment her face shape. The top of her head is bulky and the back of the hair style is almost thrown on as a last minute decision which looks like a grown out style. The style can be saved by going to a professional and having a realy nice pixie cut. The hair is sadly ruined with the layering technique... I hate to say that as so little technique is used to create a style that suits this client. Sadly it's a poor example of a hair style which could... Of been somthing realy nice.

GypsySummer Raine: love the cut i'm watching this in 2019 got some really choppy cuts now they are so cool... i love my hair all choppy and messy and shes a awesome hairstylist.... you people just don't vibe with the choppy look....i do like the ladies hair she cut...

Joe Joe: Ein sehr schöner Haarschnitt! Sieht sehr schön und schick aus! Wunderbar! Geht sehr schnell zu waschen und zu trocknen und sehr schön zu frisieren

Donna Brown: Love the lingo in school we were taught never to use the word chop! CUT is the word. And never cut underhand can you imagine a cut to the ✋

Yolanda Bird: Looks great. Love it

simon98520: All that great long hair shorn onto the floor I love this girl so brave going short

Rosenilda Gomes: Maravilhoso a sua técnica

Elizabeth Saldaña: tus videos me han enseñado mucho, me daba mucho miedo cotar cortes peqieños en dama ahora he aprendido contigo, gracias amiga deverdad

Monique Stevens: Love the cut, looks good on her!

Gina D'Andrea: I love your haircut in this video, RaDonna. Can you do a tutorial on it?

Judy Salley: I had an epiphany...she has one style in her haircut “bag of tricks” and everyone gets the same one....awful. Her own haircut tells you what is about to happen to anyone who sits in that swiveling chair of hers...Dramamine is free!!!

Laura Reza De Abufele: Tu si sabes cortar pelo! Felicidades

Jane E Smith: Wow! A perfect rendition of the "I want to speak to your manager" haircut.

KeenOne Best: I really enjoy watching you cut hair Radona Seems like a lot of haters out there Trolls mostly this is a makeover video transformations I appreciate her talent and skills

Kelly Denton: When I first looked at her hair I thought she had long thin hair and I at to watched this till the end and I think this cut really suits her better then long hair, she did a really good job and it totally changed her face, she looks beautiful. Well done ladies good job. Love and respect.

Suzy Froud: Well done love it

Emma Love: The client's expression through the whole thing shows how she feels about what's happening. Looks awful !

Nicole Wilhelm: I think it looks like a 90's revival :D Guess this cut was very chic between 1997 and 2000 ...reminds me at my last years at school !

bonnie curtis: Beautiful haircut, I luv how u cut it, thanks for educational video

Boys And Girls Hairstyles: Thanks for all your comments! They are much appreciated.

kmbr xoxo ky: Wow... not sure what she was saying to the person we couldn't see but she should have been talking to the hairdresser telling her to stop what she was doing... Her hair is way too thin for that cut, it makes her look like she's in her late 40s.... Long hair! Long hair! She's a pretty girl, hope it will grow fast!

Silvia Haydee Lascano: Muy bella, ya es . Pero quedo bellisima y moderna y 10 años menos, aunque se ve joven. De 10!

Kathleen Twomey: I like it when she left the one side long and it was feminine and lovely until she started chopping it up.

DENISE MONTGOMERY: You never thin out thin hair! You started cutting her long hair at the crown. When you do this you totally remove the chance for error if you cut too much and need to leave more length!!! Wow..... This style is for an older woman or someone with thicker hair. Glad this was filmed in 2013 so her hair has grown out by now.

noe vay: Le quedó muy bonito me gusta

Rosa Lumbi: The same haircut to every body . She was looking so pretty with her long hair.

Lonie Sharp: Love to watch Radona cut! She looks awesome

^*Donna*^: Super cute, you always do great work radonna

Sharon Kinkade: My stomach knotted with every chop chop !

The Dani Times: The haircut is not bad...the styling makes it look like she just stepped out of the 90’s

hadiwan: before she looked like age 23, afterwards like 54, another example what a haircut can do..

Anne Winchester: I think this style would be much better suited to someone with thick hair.

Linda Gibson: This is painful to watch and hear... we don’t say “chop” your client doesn’t pay for you to CHOP their hair! And it’s not a race!... take ur time and with a cut like this needs precision!

michelle ann: Love it you look so much younger very fresh look

Lissah .W: I had to see the comments on this, this is what my granddaughter does to her dolls hair, who tought her how to cut hair, I'm sorry but she would never touch my hair.

Stacy Emery: That's the cut I wanted. You should see what I got! Half inch bangs.

Coleen Bucca: No final comparison between walk-in to finished-look? No showing all the hair on the floor? I feel cheated. I also think the girl who got the cut maybe hated it.

Susy Mayberry: I've watched this same hairdresser in many videos and her hair cutting technique is kind of strange. I don't understand why she doesn't cut the length off first and then go from there. Cutting it off a she goes seems to be a chore. Wayyyyy too much scissor work.

Tracy S: As a qualified stylist, I would have put it in a ponytail and cut of most of the length. Such a strange way to start!

E W: Very cute :)

shiningstar: OmG! If stylist was zipping me around in the chair that often and that fast, I'd hurl all over her shoes!

Love OneAnother: So many unkind comments. Maybe this is what the client asked for. The stylist did say that the client likes to do fun things with her hair. That she'll grow it out and then cut it all off again. I think this looks beautiful!!

Anne Winchester: I love to watch stylists work. They are artists.

Margaret McCutcheon: She has a thing about spikes every video I've seen she always spikes the hair at the back to cover her bad work

Melissa Bolander: That cut is beautiful! Love it!

Nayely: Where did you go to school and how did you manage to get your license?

Tay D.: If she is unhappy with the cut, it could be salvaged by another hairdresser... All isn't lost.

Shari D57: Personally, I like the *idea* of this cut, probably because it's similar to my own, but then I'm 62, not 25. I think it's a little "old" on her, to be honest. And perhaps a little too enthusiastic with all the thinning? She obviously has very fine hair, like my own, which requires a shorter cut to have nice fullness and some good body to it. But I can see her scalp? I would be *very* unhappy if my hair were cut so very short that my scalp showed through it. And please never say the word "chop" when it comes to doing my hair! "Chop" is fine in terms of pork, but not when you've got scissors anywhere near my hair. And all that razoring? I was taught, when I asked of three different hairstylists over the years including quite recently of two of them, that razoring on such fine hair wasn't an appropriate or helpful technique on it, and should be reserved for people with much thicker hair. I know three other women who have shorter, very thick hair, and their stylists do some razoring on theirs and it looks sensational, but on mine, not so much. This young lady didn't look at all happy throughout the process. I keep my eye (as I can) on the mirror when attempting something radically new, and I can tell if it's heading in a direction I'm not actually going to be pleased with. After 62 years of life on this planet, I've had enough experience with hair stylists to be able to tell. When my expression either never changes, or never smiles, my hair won't be "happy" either. I imagine I'm not the only one who does that. Was she truly happy when all was said and done? And was all that product really necessary? I can't stand being loaded down with half a dozen different products all over my head, and if someone does that to me, especially after I've let them know up front that I don't care for it, the first place I head to after leaving is the kitchen sink and the shampoo bottle. If I can't accomplish what I'm after with a little mousse, and maybe a BIT of hair spray when done, then it's the cut that's at fault, not the drying technique or anything else. I've had to go to unknown stylists in the past, because once mine grows out too far, and I couldn't get into my regular stylist, I had to do SOMETHING about it because too much length drives me nuts. And my prior occupation didn't always allow me time to make regular appointments. (But, that's all over with now, and I can maintain a regular schedule for haircuts.) And if they insist on doing that, I let them know I'm not happy (again) with a lot of gunk in my hair, in more ways than one. I know enough about my own hair to know it's not necessary. I have been getting my hair cut professionally for 50 years, and most of that stuff didn't exist 50 or even 40 years ago. Styling techniques - rollers/curlers, hard case hairdryers, etc., - have changed radically, too, I I'll grant you. When I was 11, 12, 13, 14, etc., I showered and shampooed every single night, of course, (as now) then comb styling gel - called "Dippity Do"! - through my hair, and put it all up on hard plastic curlers myself (I got very good at it), cover it up with a "curler cap" (looks like one of those bouffant caps that are worn in surgery by the nurses and surgical techs, but much fancier!) and SLEEP on them! Then, I removed them the next morning, and brushed out my hair and styled it for the day. That night, repeat the whole nuisance. But, that's what we did! Fortunately, shag haircuts became the thing to do in the early 70's, and I got one. It took me at LEAST a week to get used to sleeping without having those hard plastic rollers on my head every night! That felt very strange to have my head directly on the pillow! Of course my morning routine changed substantially. I'd wash my hair under the tap quickly with some shampoo - conditioner wasn't routine, especially on oily hair like mine, as they all seemed to add oil, or weigh it down somehow. Then blow dry with a brush. Voilá! Done. Now, it's all kinds of volumizers, root lifters, mousses, texturizing pastes, messy "bed head" products, gels, sprays, powder type root lifting, volumizing things, etc., etc. Too much stuff! At least for one person. And too much money. But, that's just me. Just give me a good haircut up front, and I'm good to go.

susana capdevila: Espectacular

Denise Desrosiers: I think Rebecca would look cute with an undercut pixie...but that’s just my opinion! Rebecca is absolutely beautiful with both long or short hair though...not to mention BRAVE!

Rlovi: The reason why i cut my own hair!

Teresita Tisnado Guadalupe: Me encantó el corte

Sharon Rowland: THIS IS TO THE LADY THAT'S CUTTING THAT YOUNG LADIES HAIR, MA'AM DID YOU EVER GO TO HAIR CUTTING SCHOOL? YOU DON'T EVER START CUTTING HAIR AT THE CROWN OF SOMEONES HAIR. U'D NEVER CUT MY HAIR I KNOW THAT FOR SURE.

Chocolate Cookie: Well, the best thing I can say is it will Grow! But what about in the meantime, a wig? Did you know that if you are not happy with the way your hair is styled, you do not have to pay? Look it up! It is a service.

Carolyn Yardley: Very pretty young lady ! I’m afraid this haircut makes her look middle age, doesn’t suit her face, I don’t think so , anyways !

Linda Witz: I really don’t know what you people are talking about. This cut is so cute. I love it

Anne Elizabeth: no sectioning, jusy lifting hair and cutting... if I were her as soon as you picked up the first hair to cut , I would have ran ... the most sloppy cutting I have ever seen .

Jessy Julie: I think the styling made her look older, but if it air dryed it would look ok.

Donna gunn: I have watched so many of these videos. All the hairstyles end up looking just like the lady who cuts the hair. It's cute on some of them, but geez come on, does she know any other style?

Sandra Bourne: I’d have cried if that was my hair

Denise DeGraaf: Flattering hairstyle. I got a kick out of the model's facial expressions as kids came in and out

Nicola Hyman: Pretty scary! Especially the lack of sectioning. And all that product!!! She must have been weighed down with all that gunk in her hair. I bet she dived for the shower (but maybe not the mirror) when she finished. Come to London to train how to cut hair.

D J.S: 2019 here. I like it. Not for me but it’s cute.

Luz Alcalde: Oh tan largo y bonito que tenía su cabello

Edward Pineda: i can’t do anything but laugh n feel sorry for this girl at the same time

Cordelia: a bit longer would have compliment her face a bit more, she has a strict look and the Shorter the hair the stricter the look, I think the chinlength and a curley or wavy style would make it all softer and lighter, because she has a bright natural Color and that is rare

Sharoyn Livingston: I love the cut and the style except for that hunk of bangs hanging over her eye. I wonder how many snip that long piece of bangs off as soon as they get home...

Janet Autry: The girl in the chair looks like one of the girls on life after lock up She is very pretty

Moody B Lewis: Lady you're not making salsa! Using words like chop and chunky to describe your work is just WRONG! Not a completely bad haircut but the front was left horrific. Shoving pastes in it to keep it a certain way isn't going to help her maintain this look. The front is too heavy.

Sparky 1998: I don't see why she didn't chop it off first.

Erika Jegl: I have been a hairstylist for many years but I understand the shears should not make any sound at all

Lynn L. Gray: Never saw a haircut start from the top of the head. How did she find this hairdresser? Sorry for the haircut. Hopefully it will grow fast.

Night Wandering Daughter: The good ole administrative manager's cut... Just the look on the client's face. Gawd ~ Even for 2013, this is so dated.

Cynthia Fisher: Darling haircut on a very pretty young lady.

Marguerite Brace: Her hair appears to be long enough that, if handled properly, it could have been donated to Locks of Love. What a waste.

Sandra Mccoy: Her hair really looks beautiful. Great job . I love it

Becky Davis: Don't pay a bit of attention to people being negative, some don't even know that sugar is sweet and they sure don't know when to keep their ugly opinions to theirself, if you can't say something nice, say nothing at all

Mary Herman: I don’t understand why she is thinning out THIN HAIR!

Laura Biding: This is a travesty. She looked so much better before. She must be gutted.

Karen Toynton: Crumbs takes some bravery to have so much hair cut off doesn’t it. , Looks very nice however.

Suzette DuPreez: Absoolutely agree with you, she cannot cut hair

KeenOne Best: Oh I have that same Cape.... so pretty Rebecca's Hair cut

Nicole Cedervall: I would be so scared if I was in the chair seeing that she started at the top. Omg.

Becky Goodnight: Cute cut! But this one scared me. Some of these do you practice on a mannequin first?

All the Best: That poor girl looks so unhappy. And it looks like the hairdresser is using craft or sewing scissors.

annie jones: Nice hair cut actually but that squeaky door needs oiling

Susy Mayberry: Brings a whole new meaning to a "chop shop". Too much cutting, too much, blowing, and too much product.

Helen Tyler: Looks good and suits her.

KAREN GALLEY: I would be sobbing if that happened to me

Diane Sanchez: A pixie would have been more feminine and stylish. A kinda goofy look. Sorry. Just my opinion.

Olga Bogatkina: Класс!,!!

Joana -: Não devia ter picotado o cabelo no topo da cabeça, pois a modelo tem pouco cabelo e é muito fino....

lucy cat: She is going to be in SHORT SHOCK!

NO NAME NEEDED: please stop saying your chopping her hair off or chopping into it.. it is a frightening thing to hear whilst getting your hair cut!! esp from long hair to short!!
