Cutting My Pixie Following Brad Mondo'S Hair Tutorial | Kinda... Major Fail?!

Um, excuse me, sir excuse me: do you think this is your time? Are you getting a haircut hello? It is corinne, and today we are gon na be chopping off my hair, because i like to mess with my hair. If you haven't noticed - and i like to share that on youtube with all of y'all, why did i just say y'all anyways? I really want to get this done quickly. I have less than 40 minutes on my camera gon na take off my slippers because they're not making this any more comfortable. I can't even get on my knees for the like. Normally, i move a lot when i'm on the ground, doing my hair and like normally i'd, get up on my knees, but i had a really bad injury, not gon na share that but anyways we're gon na. Do my hair see how it turns out - hopefully not horrible, but i kind of watched some videos here and there like kinda, the one video i will link is brad mondo's video, i'm gon na kind of try to follow it. But i i i don't really remember everything that happened in the video but anyways uh. Let'S just get to it, so i'm gon na spritz down this hair. So it's easier to work with. I have a lot of hair by the way, so it takes a while to um dry. Also, if my hair could just stay like this i'd be happy, but it doesn't stay like this, so you know it's just getting too long for me and i, like it nice and together, and i'm just going to clip this part, my hair out of the way. So i kind of want to go like i don't know kind of like follow what the hairdresser does in the past, but also like. I don't know how to do that with short hair. I just like do a hair tie situation, let's try that so we're gon na go for that hair tie situation at first just to get most of it out of the way like i don't. I don't know how to do it on my face shape. I'M like doing this and i don't know i kind of go back down a little more in the back, because i hear that's what the cool kids do. No, i just hear that's what you're supposed to do and i can just feel that, like my hair is much longer in the back like you can see this right here, it's quite long because this bulk for now is pretty good. Look at how much it's sticking out on the side. I don't know if the camera is picking that up move the mirror set up a bit. So i'm not just completely giving you like profile views, because this isn't even my good side look at this fountain. On top now, i'm gon na kind of do a similar thing, but go down a little further in the back. Then i'm going to take one of my beautiful handy, dandy, clips and clip it. This needs to be clipped away too. That'S enough of that waterfall situation. Does anybody? Did anybody do that when they were younger? My mom she would like when i was a kid like a young kid. I remember having that hairstyle of like half of your hair up and then half down, and it was just the waterfall on top anybody else. Oh and those butterfly clips, oh nostalgia, so cute 90s babies. Where are you at okay? I don't know what it looks like, but i'm sure you guys do so. Hopefully it went down a little in the back. You know it's better to clip away more than you think you need right. Is it supposed to look like this? I don't think it's supposed to look like that. I feel like sectioning is the most vital part of this. How do you do this backwards in the mirror? Where am i looking? What am i doing? That doesn't seem right. I feel like i just took out way more than i needed to people. Make things look so easy. You know what this is fine. This is fine. This is fine, maybe that's down even too much so you know what let's shave, all the rest and my knees back to bleeding. I don't know what the back of my head looks like it's fine. This is fine wow! Oh, that hurts this my knee side. Now. My knee i got injured on the 13th of august august 13th. Today is the 22nd and there's still like bits that are almost raw like very close to being raw um. Oh that hurts yeah. So that's what i'm currently dealing with anyways, i'm gon na quick pop in to his video and see what he did. Let'S get a little closer. I like kind of zoomed through that, but i have a three guard. It also did look like he was really sectioning. Quite well, because you know he was a hair stylist. I don't know if he went in with the like shortest guard first or the longest one first, but i'm gon na do the longest one. First, i'm also like just getting these baby hair flyaways because they need to be tamed. Oh, these ones are so tiny. Oh yeah, i have really pretty rose gold clips by the way. Okay, come on little guys, it doesn't really matter if you did get buzz because uh you're pretty tiny cute, let's just go for it. Okay, i'm excited, and we have like less than 30 minutes to do this. So i have it like this. I think that means it's gon na be on the longest one, because i'd like it on the longest one, so i'm gon na start going for it. There'S gon na be hair everywhere, it's going fine, it's gon na be fine. We only just took off a lot that was a lot more hair on them. That'S very short, yeah recommended now. This is so hard. Now i'm going to do my other side and see how that goes, but i don't think i'm doing that bad so far, um! I'M just going to tap out for a minute because again don't got much of that time on the clock, but i don't think it's going that bad. I'M all touched back in once. I'M done doing this side and yeah now that i feel like it's pretty good. All over ish, like i'll, probably touch it up a little um. I do want to just kind of do a bit of fade on the back, so i'm gon na do that with a two i've been using three now, i'm just gon na go down to two see how that goes. How are my fade skills? I guess we're about to find out for anyone who wants to buzz their hair like any anyone who wears makeup man or woman. You do you lipstick, don't wear a glossy lip you're gon na get hair in your lips. So don't wear a glossy lip. Just a heads up, i'm leaving about like an inch an inch at the three and then on inch out the two and then i might do one like right at the base. Let'S just keep going with it. Ah, that's nice! That'S nice! Now, like i said, i'm probably gon na touch up the back a little um at some point, but for now, let's get into this, because we have like 12 minutes left on the clock when it gets covered by like the longer hair. It'S not bad! Oh, my god, it feels so good not having that bulkiness under. But this is the length part. Then i want to start from the back. I don't know what people do in videos. I didn't get that far into the video and i want it shorter on the back too, i want it like shorter on the sides and longer in the middle. So let's just do like that. Like point cut into it a little shorter on the sides, actually, what i'm gon na do is just for this back piece, since it's quite hard to see i'm gon na turn around. I have so much hair, it's very um, thin hair, but i have a lot of it. So this is a lot okay. So now i'm gon na use - oh yeah, i'm gon na use, one of those to kind of give me a bit of a marker, of how much i want to take off. Take that same section, i think i got some hair on my eye. Fine and then just uh point cutting trying to keep most of the length in the middle. I feel like. I definitely cut off some of that in the video okay. I just want to make sure you guys were a little higher now. What i'm doing is i'm taking this a fancy, schmancy razor thing i have i've had this for years um and i'm just taking little bits and just uh kind of feathering it to help like blend things in also this side of my head looks crazy because of The way it dried, so that's fine, i'm just helping it blend and i'm gon na continue on. Maybe this would turn out better. If i wasn't racing against time, you guys should not be doing this. Do not follow what i'm doing right now, i'm kind of cutting it in a v-shape. If you can see to again keep a bit of the length in the middle longer in the middle and then a little point cutting oh, my hair feels so soft. That'S what happens when you stop bleaching it and treating it horribly anyways. Basically, if the camera cuts out, this is all i'm doing. Is i'm just chopping some off here, feathering it there and i'm gon na continue on until i finish lots of point cutting lots of blending? Okay. Basically, i want this almost up to my brows. Actually, i should have started with that to show like the length i actually wanted to go for so it might actually be taking off a lot more like yeah, it's like some cute bangs, now yay, oh, that's just gon na be cute. So again, it's definitely about to cut out. I'M gon na continue on doing my thing using this and my shears and i'll check back in when i'm all finished, so see you in a little bit - and this is the finish, the look. It is a few days later and i did like fix up the back as much of the back. As i could mind you, i do want to mention that if you're doing this on yourself, the back is very hard make sure you section it well, don't use me as an example. I definitely did not section the back all the best, but you know what i'm like pretty pleased with how it turned out. Okay, let's not do the bangs like that. Oh, oh, so this is kind of how i've been wearing it a little here and there. But i'm definitely gon na insert a few other photos of how i'm styling it just so you can get the full vibe of this current haircut very short on the sides, as you saw in the hair cutting process. I, like shaved the sides a lot and you know i also tried to make it relatively short in the back again. I'M very aware that the back is not great, but i don't see that you see that i don't i i just see this so it's like. Oh, this is fine, but the back is another story. Also. I do want to announce that i'm gon na finally actually be growing. My hair, i do want to keep it short still, but i just want to uh. You know, grow it and maybe get it professionally. Cut next time, so maybe three months from now i'll go to hair salon. Maybe two months from now i don't know how much it'll grow in the next month or two, but i guess we'll see i'll keep you guys updated on my hair growth journey and situation because side. Note i'm getting married in august of 2021. So that's a thing and i i don't want it like super duper short, but i probably will still have a pixie cut most likely, but eventually i would like to get a little really short bob again, but i don't know i feel like pixie cuts really suit. Me and my entire life i steered away from them. We can get into that in a different video, but you know what i'm feeling it i'm feeling this length currently, especially with it styled like this.
