Welcome back to the palm tree pack, everyone if you're new here welcome today, is going to be a very quick video. I'M gon na show you guys how i went from this to this. So let's get started okay, so my hair is starting out to be a little bit frizzy. I just got out of the shower and blow dried, my hair, so it's a little bit dried out. So i have two separate types of hair pieces. I have this one, which i will show you how to apply that has the cones you just put it in and stretch it it's stretchy as well, and then i also just have the usual scrunchy one that you see online on amazon and such that just has The little hole in the middle to go like around ponytails. Obviously we won't have a ponytail to put around it. So i will show you how to fix this one as well. They'Re both pretty similar you just bobby, pin the heck out of it until it stays, but we'll start off with this comb one so for today you will need a hair piece. Obviously, you will need some bobby pins, but for the clip you can use a clip or you can use like a little rubber band elastic if you want that's also optional just makes it look more realistic in my opinion, so what i'm going to do is i'm Going to take some of this top hair right here and i'm going to part it to the back just so, it looks like i'm doing like a half up half down kind of deal. My hair is super staticky because i just finished blow drying it and it's winter so got ta, love it okay. So we got this all pulled back and i've been growing it out enough that i can put it in a ponytail if i'd like to. If yours, however, is not long enough, you guys can just grab it together and just kind of bump it like that. Try to make it even you can touch it up once it's clipped, but just like that, you can see and then you're going to take this clip and you're just going to do it right at the top here just to hold it down, it doesn't need to Be super sturdy, but what matters is that this part showing isn't super floppy. I have very fine hair, and so that's going to always be the problem for me is that this side will always flop. So sometimes i do a couple little bobby pins just to make a little fuller. It'S never going to be perfect, but that's as good as we're going to get right there. Also, if you want to this is an optional step, you can take a comb in the back and you can like part this part up into the hair piece once it's applied just like that, but i'm not going to do that just because my shoulders are hurting. I don't want to hold my arms up that long, but if you have enough hair in the back, if your hair is getting long enough back here, you are more than welcome to do that. It makes it look more realistic. So it's an option now to the hairpiece part. We are just going to take these two combs stretch them and apply them on each side. Now, don't put it like right on top of your head, because that's going to look weird, you want to put it just at the flat part of your head right. There, okay see, and that looks more realistic, more like a bun and then this part is pretty straight forward. You'Re, just gon na take some bobby pins and you're, just gon na pin that baby down until it don't shift no more and i love having these little hair pieces, because i am not somebody who can handle long hair. I believe i mentioned this in a previous video, but if you're new or if you haven't seen that video before i am suspicious, that i might be allergic to my hair oils, because when my hair gets a little bit too long and it starts to touch my Ears, my ears, will fever and i'll get headaches pretty frequently, and so i'm suspicious that i might just be sensitive to my hair oils. So i don't think long. Hair is in my future um. But this is a great in-between because i hate dealing with long hair down anyway, just for one because it bothers my ears, but also because it's heavy, it is heavy as crap. So i'm okay with just doing this and just having the benefit of having an updo that looks decent because, like i said, i have fine hair and so with fine hair. Once you try to get it to do something, it usually doesn't cooperate with you, or at least with me in my case, but this way i can have curled hair without curling it. I can have it full without getting extensions and i don't have to hold it all day. I don't have to have long hair when i don't want long hair and that's exactly what i want. So this is a great solution. Now i'm about 12 bobby pins in right now and i'm still going. I could probably still keep going, but i'm going to take this out and show you guys the other hair piece and how to put that in so we're going to stop here. But here you go here is the finished product and if i did more bobby pins in the back, which i usually do - and i pull these down a little bit just take these curls out, make it look more connected, but this is, i hope you guys can See that because i can't see what you guys are seeing, so i hope that's good, but yeah just kind of put some bobby pins on the sides here. If you want to also, if you didn't know this little bent part goes towards your head. Just a little detail, if you didn't know yeah there you go and then you can add all sorts of different accessories. You can add a headband. I can take this bow off and i can add that um. I can also do a little headband like this. Stick. It over just like that, there you go another hairstyle, looks pretty good and then just big bows. You can even get scrunchies. I got this from the dollar store and it works pretty well for this combed one because it just pushes it in more. If you wanted to, you could go just like this over top and make it look like a big old bun and of course i need a bobby pin a little bit differently with the so that the combs aren't in the way. But i'm just trying to do this before my arms give out on me so bear with me i'm sorry if this is not as detailed as i would like to share, but i have found this very life changing, so i wanted to share it, but this scrunchie Is awesome dollar store, like i said, the dollar tree, they have like three different colors there. I have gray and i have black because i can't match any other colors to anything. So these are awesome. Now we're going to move on to the next hairpiece, the scrunchie and i'll show you i just about hit myself at the base of that i'll show you guys how i put this on it's pretty straight forward, but let me take this off okay, so now that I have my normal hair back, it's a mess, but we're going to essentially do the same thing now. You can part it wherever you want to to make it look natural. You can part it just like right here. I even sometimes take a little rubber elastic and i just grab some of the normal hair, but then i'll part it into two just like i would for like pigtails or something, but just in the middle, just right there that front section. I put it in a ponytail and super styling. Look at that cute as can be. Oh, my gosh. You guys, i'm in a weird mood today. Okay, now we're going to take this other ponytail here that isn't broken and put it on. Just like that. Now you got two cute little pigtails. You can either leave it like that or you can loop it through and do like an extra cute little detail. This is, of course, assuming that your hair is long enough to put in ponytails, because mine all isn't always. It depends on how long i let it grow go just like that. Also, today's video is just being done on my phone, so sorry about the quality, if it's less than what you're expecting still working with my help on that. So sorry, okay, now we have these two cute little ponytails with a little twist, then we take this one, which is just the scrunchie and we literally just affix it to the head just with bobby pins. So what i like to do first, is i take a bobby pin straight to the elastic part, the thickest part of the hair right there i like to take that to the elastic part, just so that i know that the main part of it is attached just Like that i mean that's still pretty stable, considering i only have one bobby pin in and then just keep pinning and you pin down these stray hairs. However, you want you can make it more like a tame bun like that, if you wanted or you can leave it messy, i like to leave it messy a lot of the time when i use this one, because the the curly one is more tame. I suppose, and you just pin and repeat until this thing won't go anywhere. Also i don't have a rear mirror like i do in my bathroom, but the lighting is terrible in my bathroom, so i figured you guys would understand and bear with me like. I said you can make this as messy or as loose as you want and same thing with this. You can use a scrunchie if you want to make it more like a ponytail like a natural bun. Now it's pretty messy, i usually don't do it this messy but, as i said, i'm just showing you the basics and you guys can tell the rest just by doing it yourself, because i mean you can get these hair pieces online on amazon at sally's anywhere. Really you can get them from walmart, they're everywhere and everyone's a little bit different. You know, but ultimately this is the gist see i'd, be pretty happy with this too, if, like sometimes the back of my hair in my pixie cut like right at that cowlick, i have hairs that just stand up and will not lay down when my hair gets A certain length, so i like to use this to cover that up a little bit when i just don't have the time to try to deal with it and get that hair to lay down. So this is a great way to kind of just deal with a bad hair day or even just kind of have the feeling of having long hair without needing to grow it out and go through that whole painstaking process. Same thing with this, you can use hair accessories, which is super cute super fun again. If the back looks terrible, don't come at me, i can't see it there's a little pink bow. It doesn't really match the red, but you know you could do all sorts of things. You can even put something in the back of your hair. You know just depends on what you're going for you know, but ultimately that is it there. We go. I kind of like this one, the most i like this one, a lot. Actually i like the headband, i don't usually wear this bow with the headband. Very often i usually just wear it just the bow with bobby pins in it, but i'm feeling this today. So i hope today was very educational, for you guys. I hope that you guys will be able to do this as well, so that you can live the best of both worlds with short and long hair, and for those of you who have been watching and wondering dre, is your hair lighter? Yes? Yes, you are correct. It is, i have been using a store-bought hairspray lightener, that just uses like herbs and oils and stuff like that to lighten my hair and it has been awesome. I love the color and it matches this hairpiece super well, and it was just a hairpiece that my mom happened to have so this one, and this one were just hair pieces that my mom happened to have and they happened to match my hair almost perfectly after Using the lightener a couple of times, so thank you again, mom for the hair pieces. They have been excellent. I'Ve been enjoying them thoroughly, but to those of you who have been watching. Thank you guys so much for joining me today and if you have any questions as usual comment them down below, don't forget to follow us on facebook and on instagram as usual, and of course, if you enjoy what we do. Let'S take out all these black pins, how many bobby pins did i put in here, oh gosh, surprise. I had any left. Okay, we're almost there, oh boy, i'm in a weird mood today:
