Hey everybody and welcome back getting straight into it. Today we are dying. Kira'S hair, I'm using L'Oreal's, highlight colors um in the color red, because Kara's hair used to always be red. It'S almost pretty much her signature and I was looking at her little orange hair. The other day I said girl when we going back to Red, because every time she see red on my Channel or my picture like I want to go back, I'm like. Let'S do it so here we are so I'm just going to start by combing Kira's, hair out um. She keeps it nice and short now, which is super cute on her um, so we're just going to go in and trim the ends. I kind of I shouldn't have mixed the color first. It was. I was just thinking to myself when I mix the colors, like you know what we should probably cut it now, so I won't have to cut it while it's wet. So this is what we're going to do, but if you do it at home make sure that you uh don't mix the color, because you know once you mix the color, it starts processing. So you don't want to lose the potency of that. So I'm just going to go in and trim her hair. Really quick, we'll be fine, though, for the most part, because, okay, this is Kira's here before I had the wraps, and I was supposed to introduce you into, but this is how Cara's hair used to look. This color red - this is a video we did five years ago. Time absolutely flies, but it's just a slickback with a um. You know wine curl ponytail. We love this style and it was one of the first videos to go viral on my Instagram. So I love this hair right here, so yeah we're just going to go in. We are going to trim Cara's hair down not too much just as if we were doing a regular trim just to get that shape back in it, because you know when you have a shortcut. If it's you know, they're in between stage is not everyone's favorite uh. So yeah we're just doing the trim, though, because she wants to keep it short. I love her hair short. I love when you know women just go for it like you know what I'm just going to take my hair off. It'S just for some people, it's just so outrageous like an outrageous idea to cut their hair off uh and I haven't cut my hair off since I was in the I want to say. I was in the ninth grade when I I used to have the mushroom cut. You remember when it used to be short at the top and a Long Bang in the back and then one day I just cut the bang in the back off. So I had just like a bowl all the way around. It was so cute and I always said I was going to go back and do it again, but I never did so just like when I cut long hair. I am just pulling Kira's hair up in sections and then, when I pull the next section up, I use the first section before it as a guideline to make sure that it's all, even now all of the hair under Cara's Crown grows so much faster than the Top of her head so you'll see as I pull this hair out in the back. It just looks so much longer or like I'm trimming so much more, but that's just because it's so much longer in the back because of how fast it grows. My hair grows faster in the back too. I have had clients whose hair just stuns in the back and then the front just kind of grows almost like a asymmetrical bob. That'S how fast the front grows as opposed to the back so which what part of your hair grows the fastest. I want to hear from you in the comments because it gets a little Annoying, especially when you're trying to keep a style. So you know with Kira. If we allow her at the back of her hair to grow the way it does she'll end up with a shag cut and - and I don't think that's what she was going for. So you know it's just um important to make sure that you get the hair off. You know and make sure you pay attention to the shape of the haircut that you are going for foreign, I'm leaving her hair a lot longer on the top, and I'm just going to make it shorter on the sides and in the back. So it gives the shape of you know a taper without actually tapering it. As you see here, I am using that previous hair as a guideline just to make sure that it's nice and even that's what I was explaining earlier - just always use the hair before as a guideline. So it is straight and everything is the same now. As you see on the sides, I'm getting a lot closer, I'm not bringing my fingers out as far I'm just getting as close as I can just to make sure that hair is laying we don't want it to curl over, like we want the top the hair At the top to curl, we want the hair, the top to be curly on the sides we want it to lay. Oh, I got to tell y'all something so tomorrow um, I am dropping our new publication called deeper than hair magazine, and I really want you guys to subscribe to it and just get back into the root of the way that we used to communicate. You know saying, like I'm so excited to be dropping this magazine, it's just so nostalgic and what made me think about it is one of the um hair, stylist she's, actually a barber that I'm featuring in the magazine, Brandy, Lachey, she's, amazing. She just does haircuts like no other she's based out of Atlanta, and now she cuts Usher for his. You know for all kinds of things, including his Vegas residency. So I want you guys to read about her and just see how fly she is like. I think female Barbers are so amazing because one of the quotes she said in the interview was, I never saw Barbie as a barber and like how fly is that just just I love seeing her in her Zone and killing it so here on this part in The back where you just wanted to lay super flat, I'm doing the scissor over comb method, where it just kind of graduates that hair and brings it down as soon as possible. So I'm just going in and doing that, so that hair can lay perfectly when it's time to style foreign, just lifting her hair on the sides just to make sure that it's nice and even one side was a tiny bit longer than the other. So I just made sure that I went in and even that out you just always want to check and make sure that everything is perfect, because if you don't they're going to notice, you know so just take your time and do that now, I'm going in with The color so remember earlier, I was talking about how you know just to make sure that you don't mix the color earlier, but the fact that this color is a deposited deposit is, you know, just color that is going on and just coloring the hair. That'S already there without a lift. Now her roots are going to lift just a little bit, but for the most part it's going to deposit onto her hair because it's lighter so rinses are deposits, but permanent colors that are lightening your hair lighter than your hair. It'S stripping the hair instead of depositing, so that's just a little color lesson today, but pretty for the most part. This is just a deposit, so it's not gon na. It'S not gon na mean that much that we, you know mixed it a lot earlier, but still you just want it to be as strong as possible when you're putting that color on. So I'm going in I'm making sure that Cara's hair is fully saturated. I'M having her hold her ear because when you are coloring hair, especially when it's a deposit color, one of the things that you want to make sure you do is try not to get it on the skin, because then you're going to spend a whole bunch of Time trying to get that color off the skin when it's over, so even if you get a little bit on the skin, while you're working just wipe it off immediately. So you don't have to worry about it later, because some colors literally will be on your skin. For a couple of days, alcohol usually helps, but not really. Sometimes you could get some Brands. They have a couple brands of uncolored that'll. Take it right off, but to avoid all of that, you could just make sure that you're being proactive by getting the color off the skin instantly foreign just wear the color that we were born with for the most part. But what is your signature color? If you are a color girl um, do you have a signature color that everyone knows you for? Do you just play around and wear any any color just talk to us about your Vibe. You know like one of my stylists at the shop veeam for a really long time she wore blue and I'm always like being just go back. Blue go back blue and you know color is a lot to keep up with. You know it's like just like a haircut is a lot to keep up with, like people think that short hair is the easy hair. But it's not really easy. It'S a lot of work. You know so same thing with color. You know sometimes, and it fades a lot, so you got to keep it fresh to make it look as beautiful as you want it to look but yeah. I just want to know if you have a signature color and if so, what is it so now that I fully have her hair colored well covered with the color I'm just going to go in and make sure that I got every single nook and cranny because, Especially with fake cream colors, so let me just tell y'all if you're doing color and it's thicker and more of a creamy base instead of a loose liquid base, it's like you had to make sure that that color got on every part of the hair, because, if Not you will go to wash that cover out and it'll. Just still be this one strip or two couple strips of orange left over in her hair or dark or whatever color that you are going over so just make sure that you get every part. Just like you know back in the day or if you still get relaxers now you know once you apply it, then you have to go in and just make sure that it's all over the hair and that it's processing. So I'm just going in doing the same thing here: opening the hair up, making sure that I am getting all that hair covered and saturated with this color before my mom became an angel, I used to dye her hair all the time we used to use Beijing Because she like black, she used to go, get her hair cut. Her Barber was a female Barber as well. She used to go, get her hair cut and then come home like Keith. Can you dye my hair and we would do Beijing and I would like you know, just line it out perfectly um on her head, like she had a w a natural W in the back she's like don't forget my w and all of that, but when I Used to be using this, I had this same brush when I used to do my mom's hair and she was like. I love how it feels it feels like you're, just pain in my head and she'd sit there and start falling asleep, and I was like Mom. You you can't be dipping off falling asleep, while I'm dyeing your hair, because you know, then you mess up the lines, especially when you use in Beijing, because that's one of those colors that's not coming off for a few days. That'S why guys and women use it because of how serious it is like remember back in the early 2000s, when guys used to get their hair cut and get that Beijing lineup. They do it because you know it lasts forever, were so so yeah. I missed that. Those memories where my mom painting Kira's hair, like this made me think about that. So may she rest in peace. My mama, I miss her so much. Thank you so after I finish making sure that this die is in Kira's hair and that her roots are lifted and everything is done. I am going to wash her hair with our first class to Morocco, shampoo and conditioner because of how hydrating it is. Although this color is just doing a deposit, you still want to make sure that she has that moisture in her hair. So we did that and I had her sit under the dryer for a little bit just to make sure that her hair is full of hydration. So this is how it came out. It'S good right! I love. I love it, Kira's back! That'S how I was feeling about it. I was missing seeing her in red. She clearly was missing missing it too. So I'm going in with our heat protectant now no cure is not necessarily getting the flat iron or anything like that today, but she is getting in direct heat with the dryer, because she's going to sit under it once I set it. Um and she's also going to be in the Sun or setting Shield protects against the UV rays and it also is going to help protect her for from some frizz. So I'm just you know, massaging that in she got a little little head. So I'm just going to go ahead and massage it in sometimes I massage the client's hair they seem so into it. I'M like I should just do it every time. So now I'm going in with Nairobi, Nairobi. I love Nairobi because it is a nice soft holding foam. It'S like it'll still holds you in place, but it's you won't get that crunchy action and I don't like crunchy action all the time. It'S not always necessary, especially when you're going in to do a style. Like this, I think it looks a lot better soft. So first, I'm just making sure that Kira's hair is absolutely saturated. With the mousse um or whatever you use, you can use mousse styling foam. You can use Miss Jessie's, Aunt Jackie's. Whatever your thing is for your natural curl go ahead on and use it it'll be absolutely fine and I'm just going to comb it through. I'M making sure that this back is laid really nice just so it can. You know enhance that cut that I've put in there. I just want to make sure that everything is laying right into place, so I'm just going to use this styling foam to do so now these Vibes are optional, but I'm going to go in and I'm just going to give Kira a little action on the sides. Um, just so it's not necessarily um. It'S I'm going to call it waves. It'S not like the waves that we used to do for real, like in the 90s. Oh, my God. I used to love getting waves. My my mom, I was raised by my great grandma and she did not mess. She like you always want that hard mess in your hair, she's been so mad and didn't want me to do it. But listen. Can I get some ways for Easter? My mom please, but anyway, we are going in with that um and I'm just basically giving her. You know this little action on the side, just to give her a little more style. You know, I feel like it's just a lot of fun to just have fun with your shortcut. It doesn't always have to be the same thing all the time, just to give it a little something different. So I'm just going down and going to get it down as far as I can just doing it a little bit in the back too, and I feel like that leaves are really cute already now for the hair on the top, I'm just going in with the Comb and I'm just basically coiling it with the end of the comb. You can also like, take your finger and just wrap the hair around your finger and create curls. Now it always depends on the hair, like some people's hair will do it that easily some people's won't, but you know whatever you need to do to manipulate it, because right now, I'm just taking big sections to do it, so it can set. Kira was looking in the mirror. She'S, like you know, who hair this remind me of. It reminds me of Bobby on Martin y'all, remember Bobby, when Martin had the host that baby shower for Gina, but Gina didn't show up and Bobby and thomasine. It was thomasina's baby shower, and I mean they was wearing Martin, the hell out. Okay, they were just calling them in useless and saying all these things about. You know men and Martin's like well. If you hate men so much, why are you trying to look like one, try and clean her short haircut and it's like I'm so glad jokes aren't like that anymore. But you know I'm just uh. I just love short haircuts or whatever and remember later on in the episode when Thomasina was about to have a baby, Martin opened the door after he put them out and was screaming down the hallway like Bobby. I need another man, it's so stupid. Then Thomasina delivered this baby like a football okay, and this fool has on cleaning gloves in a damp. Listen Martin is my favorite. Okay, like what is your favorite sitcom growing up? I know I asked y'all a few questions to put in the the comments today but like what is your favorite sitcom comp growing up, because Martin is definitely mine and I it was like. I was so young when it came out and I used to watch it and laugh still, but like these days, it's even funnier when you grow up and really understand the jokes, it's so wild, so I put camera under the dryer so that her mousse could dry. I am now breaking up her sections of curls with a pick just to make sure that you don't see those parts I'm also breaking up where the waves are now. You could just take a comb and comb those waves out that the form will still stay there, but I just want hers to last a little longer. So I'm not going to overdo it on the comb out of the waves, but I'm just going to try to go in with the smaller side of the comb and just get a little bit of those hard lines out. But I wanted to just stay as soft as possible and look as soft as possible make it look super beautiful, okay, so yeah her hairs came out exactly the way I wanted it to, and I think it looks really pretty monster style to your liking. Um. You can go in or I'm going to go in and I'm going to use the glass burning shine just to make sure her hair is nice and shiny and warms up, and then I'm gon na go in and clean up the back of her neck. It'S been times, I did a bob and people like you gon na clean up the back of the neck. So I was like you know: there's no way, I'm gon na be able to leave Karen without uh a nice little sharp shape in the back. Now I'm just combing Kira's hair in the direction that it lays and I'm gon na go in with the liner. Sorry that my arm is in the way, ah shout out to all the barbers in the barber community on YouTube because y'all be getting the angles. I I was like how how but my boo is a barber. So boo close your eyes, don't look at me. Don'T look at me, don't look. I am doing the best that I can um, I'm not like super into Clippers, like I think, they're amazing. I think Barbers are so good because I don't even know the first thing about The Vibes that they be on like how do they do that? How but anyway, I'm getting that nice and straight looks good to me, nice and clean. Then neck is cleaned up. I let it stay natural at the bottom, but on the sides I just wanted to make sure it was nice and crisp boo. You got will be your eyes again and now I'm just gon na go in and I am going to give a little little action up in here. You know what I'm saying just a little more soft waves to the edges, just to make it look like Cara's. Hair is basically naturally doing that uh, because why not, and now Kira is completely done, go ahead. Girl don't play with Karachi back redhead Community stands up. If you got red hair, I want to see it. I don't know where you're going to send it to me. Maybe send it to me to my DMs on Instagram. I love red hair. Okay, your ball, your fire and your fears see y'all next time, thanks for watching bye,

Adiza Ameh: i swear i'd fly from Seattle to get my hair done by you! your respect for your clients and their hair is so inspiring

AtypicallyMe: I know you are a licensed hair stylist but you ma’am are also GIFTED w/kindness & talent. Thank you for helping us out here.

L Sw: Her hair looks gorgeous. This is your gift making women hair look gorgeous and feel good after getting their hair done .

cecilia maben: You talking about your mom made me think of my mom. I miss her so much it hurts. She became a Angel a few months ago in November a week before thanksgiving…may our moms rest in peace. ❤️❤️

Jade: CONGRATULATIONSKira’s hair turned out beautiful. I love Martin…that was one of many funny episodes. Martin told Bobbi “Your fade tighter than mine”. Then Tommy asked Martin “Where’s the umbilical cord” and Martin said “Damn it Tommy we don’t need no umbilical cord…this is T.V.”I’m cracking up just thinking about it.

Tay9sdaughter: Omg Keke I am so proud of you!!! Congratulations on your publication. You are so AMAZING!!!

Anonymous Anonymous: The number one reasons I'm crazy about your channel is the fact that you always leave encouraging quotes. Soo uplifting. Then an added bonus is the way you does your clients hair. Beautiful job.

lemon: Love her curl pattern!! Thats such a stunning length on her

Kētta’s Coils After50: Red is my signature color whenever I get it, whether it’s tracks, braids, or semi-permanent color on my natural hair. I use the brand you’re using in this video, but I mix the red with magenta. It’s a gorgeous mix

op: RIP to your mama thanks for sharing that story!!

jareya: Gorgeous gorgeous hair. Loved the memories of your mom you shared, I lost mine 13 years ago and it still feels fresh. I miss her sooo much. I love all the classic Black sitcoms that we had back in the day… it’s sad that we don’t have that anymore.

Tashi Rose: Beautiful. I love everything about this style. Love the color.. Fits her very well. Excellent job. Btw...Martin was my fav too lol.

Juanita Bryant: Her hair is absolutely flawless! Girl you're the best hands down!

La-La 1908: Bobbi’s hairstyle was called the “freeze.” Beautiful job! Congratulations on the magazine!

cecilia maben: My favorite is definitely Martin too. One of my favorite episodes is when Martin and Gina end up at the same retreat with Pam and tommie. That episode tears me up everytime when pam and Martin was fighting them rat looking things. That ain’t no d** puppy

Lauri S: I love all the soft little waves that frame her face. Very pretty.

Gabriela Encina: Kira’s hair is gorgeous in red and looks amazing with this cut!!!! Well done ❤

Ti’ara Chantè: it was so sweet hearing you reminisce about your mommy, the smallest memories mean so much when they're gone. but you did an amazing job! ❤

JadeFoxx: I love a nice rich honey color. About a year ago, I went to a stylist and had my hair colored honey blonde going into ash blonde. It was so pretty but stripped my hair badly a month later. I had massive shedding. I was so upset because I loved that color, but my natural hair is so dark, that the chemicals were too strong. I love color though.

Nic Andrews: My hair grows faster in the back around the perimeter. The center is the thickest, and the front is the slowest; no problems with my edges either. In high school my signature color was fire engine red! But these days irs just regular.

La Nore: Congratulations on your publication!! So well deserved!!! Her hair turned out gorgeous as I expected. Blessed hands you have ❤❤

Khadija mmhmm: My signature color is hot pink... I rocked it for years but the bleaching process killed my curls I died it black and trying to grow it out as much as possible. Maybe I see a hot pink pixie cut in my future

NapturalButtafly: Watching you do hair is so relaxing sis! I'm going to answer your questions: 1) My hair grows the fastest in the back just like your client, and it has a looser curl pattern. When I would try to do a wash and go...I would end up looking like I had jerry curl mullet LOL, 2) I'm known for wearing dark copper colors (OT30 or 30), 3) I think my favorite TV shows growing up was definitely Martin, Living Single and A Different World! I'm looking forward to your next video. Peace, love and blessings!

JennG: Love the color and style. My go-to color used to be red but I had to switch to Bigen’s Darkest Brown once I got older. I needed my hair to look fuller as I aged.

Megan Hoose: What a gorgeous look!! I love this red color! I was a redhead for 5 years and cut my hair to my shoulder. Before that I had really long hair and tried a bunch of other colors. Now I’ve gone pink and I’m never changing it! I’ve been pink for 2 years and it feels most like me than any other color I’ve ever had

Kathleen Bigsmoke-Mitchell: Love that look she gave after the towel came off

Karen Hankerson: My mom would always say " this too shall pass ". It keeps me going on the painful days. I learn so much from you. I had my cute once by someone on purpose not but not by choice. Then I cute my bangs for a change then the whole front. My hair came out due to my health. Right now I have no idea how my hair grows. My hair was long now for me it is short for me. Just adjusting to the change and trying different styles. I've learned to accept my natural curl. Lol. I twist and roller curl.

Ma'Riyah J: Color, trim, & style fire

Christine Adams: Congratulations on your new business endeavor and her hair looks absolutely beautiful I love it I'm glad she's happy with it you take care and God bless

LaShonda LaShell: Looks fab! My signature color is honey blonde. I’ve worn it since college. I used to wear it on my tips — my nickname was Frosty. Now I wear it ombréd on top with light brown on the bottom. The blonde on top hides the thinning.

mintkandi22: One of the best parts of Sunday when you post your vids! PURPLE is my signature color! My loctician is a genius! My color glows in the light! I have had red and a mermaid/My Little Pony color with blue, purple, and green and ALL of my color services have been beautiful but NOTHING suits me like purple!

so keke j: Hi Kee congrats on your magazine I know it’s going to be dope as hell your the best hair teacher a girl could have my signature hair has always been black I really never tried any other color I was always scared and it is so relaxing to get your hair colored I would go to sleep when I would my hair cut her hair is gorgeous and on fire❤️have a safe and happy week!

KIM JOHNSON: Top grows faster. I've been coloring my hair since the age of 21 (58 now). Over the past 2 years, I've been mostly blue. Although at the time I'm writing this, I'm purple. SO GLAD TO HEAR LIFE IS TREATING YOU WELL. You aren't only a blessing to the people in your chair but to untold numbers around the world. I cannot count the times I've had the most stressful day only to come home and binge your videos. GOD BLESS YOU, KE!

Miss Understanding: Love the red!!! Kira is back in her natural element! ♨️ ❤ My hair definitely grows faster in the back, btw. I'm natural right now and would love to go blonde, but I don't want to do the big chop again. Previously dyed my hair blue-black, so it turned green with the patch test. Will just have to wait! Loved Martin back in the day!! That show kept me cracking up! I think my favorite sitcoms will always be The Jeffersons and Girlfriends. I can watch them both for hours on end!

Emeth: Her hair is beautiful. I love her signature color. I will wake up one morning, get my clippers out and shave all my hair off. I don't care if my hair is down to my behind. When I am tired of my hair, I will cut it all off. I have big chopped my hair 6 or 7 times since 2009. I have always loved short hair. The back of my hair grows faster than any other part of my hair. My color is jet black. Martin is one of my favorite sitcoms. I love your videos.

Miss Megan: My signature used to be purple untill my natural went full silver platinum! Now I'm trying to embrace that for the last 2 years... Still undecided. Love your videos, thank you so much for sharing your life and talent!

Bobbie Davis: Hey Kee, sis I am absolutely loving Kiara's hair..I'm sorry if I spelled her name wrong! I love super short cuts. I wore my hair close cut short for around 12+ years and I would have to get my hair cut Faithfully Every 2 weeks because the top and sides grew so fast!! Plus I Loved having a Fresh Cut!! Also my signature color was and still is Blond. color#shorthairmaintenanceisReal. #loveyourcutandcolor

Ms Jill: Your work is always beautiful and I always learn so much. Also, Martin is one of my favorite sitcoms. And I agree it's funnier now that you're older.

Melanie Smith: Yeeees! It’s beautiful and Kira is feelin’ it! . I’m transitioning my relaxed pixie. My stylist says I should enough new growth by April to chop off relaxed ends and have a little left. Definitely gonna step outside of my signature black, once natural! Not the Martin ‘Bobbi’ reference! I watch Martin at least once a week!

Lynsey Roberson: So glad you came through.. I was shol waiting Ik this hair gone be beautiful as usual you look gorgeous on the cover of your magazine! I hv to say Martin was def in my top 5 I was actually rolling watching the clip you showed

Tiona L.: 10:58 I used to dye my hair burgundy all the time in high school and now I haven’t tried that color in years now you have me thinking maybe I should bring it back Also, I LOVE her hair I absolutely love her natural curls, they’re so beautiful

Dark_Angel07: My favorite hair color is violet purple. Unfortunately, I've been to three different hairstylist that messed up my hair color, so I'm hesitant to get it done professionally again. At this point I might as well get a box hair color and take a crack at it.

Ne Ne Zilla: I fought my gray for years, then a few years ago I said "screw it" and stopped coloring my hair my natural dark brown. I now color it purple, and love it!

Michaela Williams: Her original hairstyle is how I found you! I could never forget You have one of my favorite channels on YouTube. Thank you for being authentically you. You’re an amazing artist and have such a beautiful heart! and this look is bomb!

D D: Martin is definately one of mine especially now as an adult too. That show is a classic!

S. Wynn: I love this on her, so cute. My favorite color was Auburn Fire by Dark and Lovely in the 90s lol. The top of my hair grows over the back of my hair so fast and long .

Maura Mel: She looks so beautiful! Her hair, and her gorgeous face!!!! I love red hair, I used to be red but it’s soooo much upkeep. I wish I could do it again!

Monie: The red is real bold and red and it's cool she can wear that got a beautiful texture of hair

Damn Pam: Congratulations on your magazine!!! I'm excited for the industry spotlights too. I often stylists had the ability to recommend local talent or other talented stylists who happen to be local to me. Atlanta isn't far from me at all.

Brandi’s Dream land: Her hair is fire I’d love to cut my hair again just for this ❤

Mia: I love her eyebrows and her hair just gorgeous!

Agnes Balla: I always do my mom’s hair. We both love it ❤

Jasynn Nydia: Neon pink is what I’m known for I love it I get the most complements when it’s pink. I love it, it kills my hair but I absolutely love it and I’ll never stop

Thick3_Madame3: I'm so excited for you may you continue to be blessed on your journey... my hair grows in a natural diamond or upside-down triangle and with that I hate to have a straight across cut.. so I tend to have someone close cut my hair prior to going to the salon for an appointment

Life With Alana: I'm so excited about the magazine drop congratulations ! Yesss it is so annoying my hair grows like that too, the back is down pass my bra an the top is barley touching my shoulders, idk why the top grow so slow. Her hair came out so beautiful sis♡

Sabrina White: CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR PUBLICATION!!!! My signature color is also red.

R.M.Miller: I JUST covered my green. I saw a lady with dark green hair some years ago and I was like I want that and it looked amazing on me but like you said it's a lot to keep up and I let it go last month. But I used to stay getting compliments for my emerald.

reb.13: YESSS CONGRATSlove the magazine cover!! you deserve it girl, thrive

Paula Figueiredo: I loooooove to see natural curls styles!! The style came out georgeous!!!

LaShonda LaShell: Looks fab! My signature color is honey blonde. I’ve worn it since college. I used to wear it on my tips — my nickname was Frosty. Now I wear it ombréd on top with light brown on the bottom. The blonde on top hides the thinning.

Donna Layne: Wow Kira’s hair turned out Amazing!!! Which I never doubted that it wouldn’t cause you always do a beautiful job!!She is gorgeous!!!❤❤❤

peepla7: Kira's smirk is back! Love it!

Harp Wolfe: 10:35 I'm a white person in the middle of the mid-west, so having colored hair out here(especially as someone about to turn 30 haha) is definitely something that will turn a head or two. HOW EVER I always feel like I'm going back to my 'natural' color when I dye my hair back to blue. I'm having fun with having it at a level 6-8(depending on what part) gray with some heavy handed purple undertones. I'm redoing the roots tomorrow and will probably add some royal purple 'highlights' to it.

Sean Alex: My signature color was always red, but lately (the last year), I’ve been doing burgundy….but I’m just known to always have my hair colored. Everyone knows I like to stand out. My friends don’t like if my hair is a normal hair color.

ALMad04: Yassss, you did that!!! She looks beautiful!❤. I love it!

The awesome person Chuney: I’d like to congratulate you on this beautiful color!!! It’s smokin , I’m thinking about getting my hair colored, my hair is 3 years natural & every hair on my head is new . After being bald from chemotherapy all my hair is new ( even my eyebrows. I take really good care of my new hair so what do you think ? Is it safe to color my hair now ? I’m thinking about the bronze color that Queen Latifah has .

Judy Walker: That style is so cute on her and that color works for her. My favorites are Sanford and Son and Good Times

Wendy: I’m in no way trying to correct your awesomeness but I used to use the L’Oréal high color highlights on my daughter. It lifts and deposits at the same time and is only for darker hair. It’s great and it’s sold at Sally’s so you don’t need to be a pro to use it.

Juevette Weaver: I love Martin!!! That is definitely one of my favorite sitcoms. Fresh Prince, Family Matters, Living Single (yass!!!) LOL. Signature color: natural, but I do like honey blonde highlights. Ugh, her red hair is EVERYTHING!!!!

Jhanale Harris: Blonde has been my signature color since 2013 but I've done pink back in 2019. I'm starting to get a lot of Grey and white in the front and along the sides now. I'm thinking of going back to my natural color or maybe ginger And Martin and In living color was my favorites!

M. J. D.: I know every single video I write the same exact comment but, darling, I love the messages you put in the beginning... Just make me feel with high hopes. Of course I love your content but I love more how much love and hope you give us all. Of course I dont have a bloody idea about hair and I do almost nothing with mine but I love your work SO MUCH! Bless you

Monica Brown: I just love you! You are so knowledgeable and passionate about hair and hair health. I wish I lived in Philly, because you would be my go to stylist! Keep the content coming!

Sonya: Hey here watching the back of my hair most definitely grows faster!!

Anita Ihezue: Queen, my name is Anita Ihezue, pronounced (E-hez-way). I ❤️ your channel, it's so informative. Gr8 job on Keira's hair! I hv not seen her since college. We attended MSU & had some of the same classes, 2gthr. I used to rock the Golden Bronze hair color by Dark & Lovely b4 going to the salon to get my hair colored. I enjoyed Martin's show, too! The entire cast were HILARIOUS!! CONGRATS ON THE MAG!! ✌

PHE-nomenon: Everytime Kira looks at the camera she's do pretty! And love the color! #KirasBack

Farrah Hall: I remember that video. That red looks nice on her.

Sirrah: Okay Keira! Her hair is so pretty! Love the red color on her!

Tay9sdaughter: Short hair is definitely work. I remember getting my hair cut short the summer of 97 b4 I started Highe School. I use to always where my hair in a bun on my bad hair days. But once it was cut that was a wrap. I was at Fee hair salon every 2 weeks.

Dawnie: This color is everything... I don't have a signature color but back in my day the color was honey blonde. I was afraid of dye so I would only use a burgandy rinse plus I'm of lighter complexion and never really found the color that best suited me

Carla W.: I love when I see a notification that you've posted a video. I enjoy listening to you talk, lol! Your accent steals the show ❤️ but the hair is bomb too

Anna Inspain: My hair grows faster in the front, especially my bangs. When I was in school I used to pull on my side parted bangs when I was doing my homework , but now at 60 they still grow faster than the rest of my hair.

Mini: I went plum for the new year and it really does fade quick lol. It’s going to be a lot of up keep but I don’t think I’m letting go any time soon! Really loving the plum color

Marcy Ashby: Looks so nice on her goes with skin tone!
