Slick Back Ponytail Hair Tutorial/Boyfriend Does My Hair!

Do so this video is in regards to a youtuber upcoming youtuber and her a picture of her channel is right there, as you can see to the right of us all right. Her channel's name is big mama's house. It seems like she has a good channel good up and coming channel good, real up and coming channel. You know um anybody, that's not forcing a family to be in their vlog. Okay, you guys welcome back to the channel. It'S your girl, kimmy from ali gang and today today today today, today, i'm gon na be doing a hair. Slash chat, slash just watch me do my hair, that's it! What more do you want from me? As you can see, my hair is washed. It is washed. It is conditioned and just combed out you guys so for the past couple days. I'Ve had so many hairstyles i wanted to do but didn't complete them. There is one hairstyle i have in mind, but your girl bought some hair a minute ago and i don't want to waste it. So i'm just going to go ahead and use it and plus i have a birthday party to go to on sunday. So it just makes sense to use it, so i won't be looking crazy at the birthday party right so y'all. I got some hair i'm off to use and i think that we are going to do a slick bag type of weed ponytail with a part. I don't know if i want my part on the front or on the side you guys so i'ma figure that out, okay, i'm going to figure that out, but right now let me go grab what i need to do my hair and then i'll show you guys What i'm going to be using and then we'll go from there? Okay, so yeah and most of this video will be set up or because i got my music playing y'all and that's just how i get down. When i do my hair, i cannot do my hair or my makeup or get dressed without music, so yeah, i don't want much. I mean i don't want my channel to get blocked. I mean my my videos and it seems like a lot, but it's not. I got some rubber bands, some black rubber bands. I got some even edge control, some pink hair lotion, a black scrunchie, some and i'll go over these products as i use them, and what i'm using for and how i feel about the product, some mousse. I need a soft brush and a hard brush. My etch control toothbrush. My edge is too fresh um. I need this. For my part, my red tail comb. I got some jam. Some hair pins, some hair wraps some black hair glue, my elvis l'oreal oil, hair oil. All right, sorry, you guys, and then i got this um, it's basically protective shield when you use hair glue because you don't want to get stuck in here and some scissors. I don't know if i need these, but i got them. I start with a damp kid. What what's going on, i'm trying to record videos what's wrong alia, is going through something y'all her cousin cyan is here and elise is very bossy. Like me, um she wants cyan to do everything she wants her to do and cyan don't want to so yeah. That'S why she's crying okay, y'all, it's hella hot in here, then think about the heat. So, as i was saying, i start with a damp head when i'm doing so, that's how y'all going i'm doing a ponytail yeah, i told y'all, i start with a damp head. So, as i said, my hair is cleaned and combed out, so i'm just going to and sorry if i'm like looking over here, but this is where my mirror is so i'm going to try to keep facing you guys and get detailed in the camera stuff. Uh disclaimer, i am not a professional hairstylist. I just do what i can alright. So let's decide what side we're gon na. Do this part one and i hope the lighting is you know, okay, for you guys, i think i'm gon na do a middle part. Maybe a curved and when i get to the ponytail part and guess i'm going to put my beautiful boyfriend in here to help me - i don't know when i'm doing my hair, i switch up a lot so yeah i'm just going to do a middle part. I don't want it too far back. I don't want my hair to bite. You know moses. Let me see and nothing like that. What if i didn't do a part at all yeah, i think i'm just going to do a straight flick backwards. I think i'm gon na go with that. I think i'm gon na do just a straight back now that was just about finding the height of my ponytail, like how far back i wanted or how far up. I think i want it right about here now. I think i want it low. I don't want it like back here somewhere. I don't do it back here, so i'm gon na go ahead and style it and stuff, and while i install it into the back ponytail um and i'm gon na show you guys and tell you guys what i'm gon na be using freaking hot in this. While i'm going okay, okay, y'all so y'all, basically i did this to figure out where i want my ponytail. It'S not done. You know my ponytail's not done um just to figure out about the. I don't know what the word is like the height that i want. My ponytail i'm going to take the small tooth comb and try to pull your hair straight back because you want to get rid of those lumps and strands. That'S all curly under here, especially if you have curly hair so make sure all your hair is going in. The same direction just to give you that more sleek look and you're going to continue to do this through the whole process, and i do it all around and all around my head and i'll keep doing it until i work my way over to the ends of My hair next i'm going to take some gel and i'm going to take a lot of it. You guys so gel has y'all is water based, so it makes my hair curly. So i'm trying to decipher, i think i'm gon na use the jam. So i'm, starting with this much and i'm gon na, do what i already did. While it was just wet with the pink lotion. Basically, i'm gon na put it in and keep combing it thick to give me that sleek look! Okay, you guys so i have done my whole head and, as you can see, it's really like sleek back and tight. So now i'm going to remove my crunchy like that and hold it. You want to hold it really really tight, so you won't lose the grass, because this is the part when you do your actual ponytail okay. So i'm just going to go around my head perimeter to make sure that it's nice and tight and then we have smoothed it out. We are going to go here and put our scrunchie on and you're going to wrap it around as tight as you can. So, as i said, i'm not no hair stylist, so this is not going to come out completely flawless. You know it's just how i do my so now. I'M gon na go around with that hard brush again and just brush as much as i can to look even around the ponytail, because again once my hair, i'm not about anybody else's, but my hair moves a lot. It shifts and that's why i need so much product in it when i'm doing a hairstyle like this once i am here at this point um i want to put edge control on the front of my edges. Okay want to take this edge control. I need more because now it has been tapping neck but and i'm just going around the front just the very front of my hair. That'S what i do um. I don't know if i said i think i said this in another video. My sideburns are really really long so and they're long to the point where they're in my ponytail um. So when i do ponytails, i have to make sure that um. I separate this hair because if i don't it'll it'll bulge and stick out - and i don't want that so i'll - take the shorter hair - see how i did it just separate it with the red two right, tommy and separate it. So this doesn't have any um edge control on it and then i'm going to go in with my comb, my small tooth comb and just comb that in to the front and smooth it with my finger, as you see i'm doing now right now, i don't want To take too long, i need to comb this pony part out and put it into the tightest braid, the tightest braid that i can. So that's what i'm going to be doing right now and start. I'M letting go it's hot in here, so no product needed i'm just going to use my comb comb it out and put a braid in it yeah all right. So i think i'm gon na take one of these, and this is my first time doing this. The sleep bag ponytail so work with me, so i'm gon na take one of these hair wraps and put it around the front of my head so that that is like it doesn't move and i love these hair rasher. You know ball, hey ho. I know all right so yeah we still be talking. It'S gon na break this up, so i'm gon na put a rubber band on the end of this ponytail, because when i go to wrap the hair around it, that's that part is so skinny. It'S going. It'S going to be hard for me to wrap your hair around actually now, so i'm going to double it at the bottom, so the braid can kind of be like look at my little my little ponytail, but so the braid can be like even all the way Down so i'm going to flip it up like this and then i'm just going to put the right thing on the bottom to hold. It can y'all see that i'm gon na go ahead and comb my hair out and lay it out because we bout to get close to that part of wrapping it. This is this is called made beauty from the hair store. This is the little packs that come with three different um inches, like 18 16. I mean yeah, 18, 16, 14, 8, 10, 12. stuff like that. So this is the 20 24, no. 20. 21. 24. I think in the color two, so it was 18, 20 and 22 and in the color too, and i think this was 28 - i think so yeah i bought this a minute ago. So i need to use it one, not bundle. Is it called a bundle? If it's not like expensive here beach, you so i'm calling it a bundle, because you can't i wish i can afford 300 bundles, where i can. Okay, all right, so i'm just brushing it out to make it all sticky. This hair is nice, though, for it to be like cheap hair, i'm i'm the we revive queen. Do you hear me so if this dude get like what i call it crunchy if it do get crunchy, i'm going to fix it, and it's going to be like this again all right so y'all know my bathroom small, so i'm just laying everywhere and yes, i'm Cursing in as well because my kids are not around and i'm grown, i say hi to muhammad all right, so it's nice and sleek y'all. I look ball headed from the front. That'S how it's supposed to look. You know what i'm saying like you got a little shortcut as well, so now that that is done, i'm going to be taking this protective shield, because the way i'm going to wrap the hair around i'm going to be using hair glue, and i don't want that To get stuck on my actual hair, we don't need that much put it on my little stub right here, all over it. So now that that's done, let's stick it up all right y'all. So that is that that is done. I am going to start wrapping. My little shish kebab with this hair, this um - what is this called i'll just say, hair ribbon, hair right here and i'm going to wrap the whole back part i'm trying to get it on camera, you guys so once i got the whole ponytail ripped, i'm going To put some jam on the wreck just to try to hold it in place and mind you guys. I'Ve seen this on a youtube video, so i'm trying we're just going to see how it turned out. That'S what it looks like all right so time to wrap them on okay. So when wrapping the ponytail, i have done an invisible ponytail before, but i use braiding hair this time, i'm not using braiding hair because with the braid in here you can actually feel the ponytail on the um like when you lift it up. It'S like a tail like a really like a horse tail, so i don't want it. I don't want it long or do i do want it long, but not that long and i nor do i want it to be um that telling okay all right. So i'm going to be using the 20 and it's 22., i'm gon na start with this one and start wrapping it. I might not. I don't know i don't know how this is going to go, because i mean with the sleek ponytail it's supposed to be like thin. It'S supposed to look like more natural i'ma have mohammed start the rap the wrapping process for me because um it makes it easier because i can't see back there exactly just so y'all you don't be scared. Muhammad does my hair sometimes and my lashes, just like kidding my lashes. She all right, my camera cut off, not sure if it really got the part when i did my edges, but i did do my edges. I was having a hard time with my sideburns, my fibers give me the most stripes you guys even now, i'm not completely happy with them, but only because i ran out of my even edge control, so i had to use this dollar tree edge control, which i Don'T feel like holds as good as the even does, but this is what it's looking like. This is the final product. With my edges, the ponytail um i like the ponytail, especially for just like a two day. You know do which this was what this is um. I would try it again the next time i will probably have him wrap it closer so that the um it wasn't you know so thin and maybe i wouldn't have to add so much hair to it, but yeah. Overall.
