Today'S Wig Tip: 2 Ways To Cut Bangs In Your Wigs & Retrain Bangs With A Hot Air Brush!

Hi, everyone welcome to Beth's best hair. Thank you all for joining me today. My number one question that I get asked is: can I cut bangs in that wig and I'm here to tell you? Yes, you can so today I'm pulling out a couple video clips and showing you two options for cutting bangs in your wig and retraining those bangs with my hot air tool. So let's get started with Veronica Veronica, I'm gon na be honest with you guys. The bang is bugging me a bit: it's uh, it's kind of a weird short bang, so you know it does show it here. It'S a sparser bang, but that's gon na bug me that's gon na totally bug me so we're just gon na take that little bit that I feel needs it. You know I feel like that side is fine. I just feel like this needs to have a little bit more to her. So let me just find the right. So one thing: don't let the synthetic hair go down your drain because it will clog your drain. It'S plastic, so dranoa is not going to work. So, first of all, I'm just going to kind of give her a straight across hack and then I will go back and clean it up, so I'm gon na do it longer than I think I'm gon na. Do it like right here, just kind of straight across you can always go back and add to it, which is what I'm gon na do now. I'M gon na maybe go at that angle, just a little and then I'm gon na just start cutting up into it. So it's not such a harsh line, so I'm cutting into her I'm just gon na trim up a little bit more where I'm like just cutting up into it like this, we don't want it to look like we put a bowl on our head right, foreign. Let'S see where we're at here so now, because I did trimmer, she is gon na require a little bit of work to get over the way that I like her, but I can do it so we're just doing real time here, guys something different for me. Real time I'm used to like it all works out, and I fast forward so now you can finally say hey it didn't work out for Beth. She had to do something different. All in all, she's cute I'll probably will buy another one, because I do like her layers and I like her length, so I do think with the Paula Young Hairspray, which I should say: wig Hairspray um - that is so much better in my hair on my hair On my lip gloss, all right, I like it, I like it way better. That'S all I needed to do now, I'm going to show you option two for cutting bangs in your wig and also how to retrain your bangs with a hot air tool. So here's Mariah the other thing with Mariah is this because she I feel like she needs a little more Bang, so we're gon na go ahead and we're just gon na address that too, you can see her bang. I mean that's pretty much how my bangs were you know, as my hair got really thin, so I feel like it needs a little more Bang. So, let's do that all right, so I'm just gon na establish where I want the bang and how much bang I want. So I'm thinking we'll do that. That is a good amount of Bang there. So this part here, I'm just gon na clip back there. We go and just take this little bit here now. If you pull super tight, you could end up cutting it. Too short, so I say: don't pull tight and the nice thing about Mariah is. We do have other bangs to kind of see. But again, if you pull tight, you could cut it too short. So I'm just going to twist it about right there where it. Where the vein that's there starts, and then I am just gon na twist and then I'm going to cut it just a little bit longer about the middle of my nose straight across after you know in the twist and then we're gon na see what we have So you can see what I cut off now. Certainly she may not lay right and that's okay. I have way things ways to fix that too. So now I'm going to cut up straight into that into those again careful, so you're not cutting your hands again. I like to trim it getting in my I'm gon na have a hairy cleavage um. I like to trim it on because I like to see what I got all right. So it's still kind of damp, but I'm just gon na get it a little bit more wet, not too wet. But I'm gon na use my round brush attachment and I have the link below for this hot airbrush with a detachable stuff. So I'm going to use this and kind of just blow it and kind of curl it under and kind of pull it over. Now, I'm going to kind of pull it over this way, so I can get it to go. Okay, let's just look and see what we have. What do you guys think? I think that looks pretty good. That'S enough! I just like a little side Fringe. I guess you'd call it. I don't want a straight across bang, but if you did I mean that's basically is a straight across thing um, but I always do just over a little bit. So I I think that did the trick.
