Curling My Pixie Cut! Part 2 Of Maintaining A Pixie At Home!

Hello, hello, you guys thank you so much for joining me on part two. So i'm gon na get into curling my hair, showing you all the products i used to curl the curling irons and everything. So let's go ahead and jump into that today. We'Re gon na curl it um curling. It does help it last a little bit longer so to curl. I have two staple flat irons. The first one is the red silicone protection red pro. This is a half an inch and it has like this little. The black line here, which feels like rubber and it kind of helps when you curl - and i really like these - these had good reviews on amazon a while ago, so i purchased them and they are still hanging on i'll link these down below. I do like that. You can um control the temperature because i had bought something by the same brand and you couldn't control the temperature. It was just hard to see. Oh i'm like oh sent, those right back whoo. So that's that that's for the top of my hair, because that's a little bit longer and then i have these babies right here, which is called the um glam palm very, very skinny, very, very flat, and it says absolute styling on the tip here. These. I also got on amazon. They go up to about 450 as well. These go up to 460., so i think these go to 450 um yeah and they are very, very tiny, so they can get in there and curl it and get it nice and straight, and i love them. So these are the two that we'll be using them. Have them warming up, as you can see, the temperatures are inside um yeah, but before we do that we went in with more oil. I have the olaplex binding oil here, i'm gon na put a little bit of that on rain down on me. I don't know what i stuck on my head and here you can put some heat protectant on. If you like, um, you got your favorite oil. You like to use, you can use that. You know you, don't i don't want you to feel like you need to go out and buy these exact products. Now i will say when it comes to certain things. The products is like what helps execution. I have a friend who does hair and she always say it's the products that make a difference when you do it at home versus when you go to a stylist um, and then i got a little bit of the silk elements. This is the heat protectant. This is the olive one, i'm just gon na spray, my head and that's all we need, so you know also, if you want to you, can play with it and just add some texture to the top of your head. You know, like i mentioned you really don't have to curl it. You can just lift it up a bit or you can wear it real flat. I like to wear wear flats sometimes so this is essential to have a like a little rat tail comb. So you can lift so we're going to start up here at the top um. The key here is just is to just lift and curl, because the mode is so important. You don't really want to lift it and then like try to hold it with your hand, because it's really too short for that like if, if a piece does that that's fine, we just gon na go in and curl that as well. But it's just lift and curl and depends on how curly you want it. How tight you want it if you want it to go a certain way. I just usually curl and twist curl and like go like this because uh you know, i just want it to lay down a bit, so i'm just gon na lift it up. Take it and this one i'm gon na, go like that and there's our curl then over here i'm gon na do the same thing, lift it and just curl, and if you have to go in and curl another piece, that's fine! You know yeah. So i'm just going to do that and keep going and uh yeah. Now i pretty much did all the areas that's long enough to use the half inch and i'm going to go in with this is a fourth inch i believe and curl some more okay. So now i've really just put curls across the whole head and we are going to comb them out. This is the comb that i like to use just to comb out the curls. I have this little wax stick a lot of times. People put it on before they flat iron too, i'm just putting some on the keep it laid before. I tie it up. Okay, so when i get it to the style like just out enough, you saw i use the wax stick to lay some of the edges down just some of the flyaway um. Now i'm going to put a drag on i'm going to put a do-rag on, because that is going to flatten it all out. That'S the thing about doing your hair at home: um, i'm not a professional, so i haven't gotten it to where it's like flatted at it yeah. I think if i did somebody else here, i could probably get a real flat because i can like see - and you know, but when you're doing it yourself, that's that's when you go to a professional. That'S why you're going to pay you know, so it can just be flat and perfect. You'Ll have to tear down at the end, but i'm going to put it on and i'll be right back to show you guys how it looks when i'm like done and ready to go okay. So i'm back. I'Ve been chilling with my dude going, and this is the final or like hair reveal yay, so i like to really have it like flat and wavy and curly, because that's just how i like it yeah, so this one you're really good to go. I don't know if i need a lining of that, but excuse me if i do yeah and then it's like nice and shiny and healthy, then i finish it off with a little bit of the mizani styling finish and polish - and this is this - has a very Mild hold so it won't make you like hard.
