Right stop and it's also important to blow-dry the hair to the direction that the hair is going to go. So if we want the hair to go forward, definitely blow dry from the back again picking it up from the scalp with my vent brush about a ninety degree and creating a bend, so it has some volume on top. This creates more of a tassel look. You know not a fixed look gives the hair the body that it needs in the front area where the bangs are. I don't want a lot of body there. I just kind of wanted to lay natural, so I'm just kind of tossing it just moving it around, and you also want to show your client how to style your hair this way, so it's not a big burden for them to style their hair. This haircut should be very easy for individual to do so far, it's taking good shape and as I'm blow-drying, I'm looking for any spot that is bulky and thick and that it may be harsh looking. So when I'm done blow-drying I'm gon na go over and thin. Those areas out make it flow better, make it blend better. So when you're drying definitely keep an eye on the hair guide and make sure you're looking at every cut that you've created in there and see if it's gone to the, if it's doing what you wanted to do now we're going to redefine it Dobis I'm going To start from the back, take it in just a little bit again using my fine thinning shears fitting sheet is a great tool. It kind of gives you the benefit of cutting without any lines. So that way, you don't have to go over and blend the lines. You'Ve created, as you see, I'm using a white tooth comb. I like using white tooth comb because it's just kind of leaves the hair natural. It doesn't put a lot of tension on it, and the hair is not compacted together, so eliminates any undesired bluntness choppiness to the hair, and you can just kind of cut through with your thinning shears at it very loosely, without creating any undesired cut lines going over. With my scissors just to kind of clean up any frayed ends, you want to do that because it's it's not pretty when the when there's frayed ends left after using a thinning, shear or a razor, so you might want to clean it up just a little bit. So then the client doesn't feel like they just received a haircut and they still have bad ends showing and a lot of what I'm doing is you know your taste and your customers taste. You can use these techniques for a lot of different styles, so you go shorter. You could keep it long. Everybody'S got their own individuality and these techniques would work any style. This haircut, you can do it longer version of it even shorter version than this one is using the same techniques and you see I'm cutting the hair as it lays where it's supposed to so that way, you could get instant gratification, you cut it, you see exactly What you're doing, if you see some bulkiness, if you see some thick spots, you can just go in and thin it right out and it gives you exactly what you're looking for. It is important to cut and redefine here when it's dry, because your customer it's night they're not going to wear their hair wet. So if you just cut the hair wet and the blow dry or you blow dry it and they leave there's going to be some things that for sure you're going to be missing because no one's going to wear their hair wet. So it's definitely important to go over it redefine it personalize the haircut while it's drying - and it's important to do that, because your customer also sees what you're doing it's more visual for them, because they can't really tell what their hair is doing. One is wet as I'm doing your bangs, I'm picking up the pieces that I think they're thick and I'm just thinning out the ends just a little bit from top to bottom and placing it exactly where I want it to go right after the cut it's important To do that, just to make sure you achieve the look that you want and again I'm going over it with my scissors just to cap the ends to make sure they're not too frayed putting it in place. Where I want them to go, then we got a little bit shorter on the sides. Personalizing the haircut, it's one of my favorite things to do while it's dry, it's fun and your client enjoys it. Okay, please see your work, they see your artistry. I think it's one of the best things in hairdressing, taking a little bit of bulk from the top put up the blade, the bottom and just lightly close those getting sheers and run it through the hair, ensure that the top is not

Lachlan: i have a pixie and i love it! sometimes i miss my long hair too because having short hair can get boring but i'm starting to grow it out now :)

oakfiber: I really LOVE this! I wish I was in Dallas!

Regal Hair: I like it best here at about 7:00 on this part II though. I think it gets a bit too thin looking by the end of the series. Still I generally prefer slightly longer bob cuts, but must admit this is a very very pretty cut on a perfect model for it! (bet she's a size 2 or less)

TheMinnie419: She has the perfect oval face for this cut.  It's a beautiful cut.

Tea Please: I have that haircut, but shorter fringe :D I love it :)

mentalistcrazy09: very cute cut, very nice job :0)

jamie: This girl is the most amazing model. She doesn't make weird faces, she looks pleasant and content, not pissed or overly happy. great video!

Lucia M.: amazing! want it too : (

Kessandra Armstrong: OMG I LOVE THIS!!!!!

Forever Free : Love His tutorials

stubru16: i love it!

Christina Rapacz: i watch this when i want to relax :)

Revidescent84: I would closest call it a short to medium length texturized shag. I can't blame you, much better terminology! I'm a hairdresser, so that would be my definition...in any case, make sure you are specific to whoever is your stylist is so you avoid any misinterpretations. Good luck! :)

Athena: now i want to go get a pixie cut haha

TheOrchidFan: I've got a question: I got fine hair which is actually really straight. Is a Pixi cut right for me??

sophie macleod: hehe i have my hair like this ;) and it was shoulder length before! I just said to the hairdresser 'i'd like it this short' and she was like what???? I was like yeah, so?

Enoch El: His work is excellent wish he could cut my hair..

kimberly hernandez: This haircut is typically made for women that have this type of face structure not many women can pull this look off , same as the angled bob not many women can pull that off, it really all depends on the face structure and of course hair type.

Tahira Love: What is the name of the texturizing shears that he is using!! I need a pair!

Miss Mandi: I'm dirty blonde with golden honey-like highlight and I want this hair. Will it look good?

Samantha: gorgeous! do mine?!

shortcut01: wow much better than part 1

Tigist Seleshi: Good job

Vi Nguyen: when its in black and white. she looks just like those dolls you use to practice hair styling =)

Tamara Hoggarth: i dont know any girl who regrets cutting all their hair off including myself

Yamashun: Can boys do that haircut aswell and if so what happened when your finished from the haircut and go home have a shower would it still be the same or you have to go through all this again reply back :)

ulquiXgrimm: Short hair is sexier than longer hair on girls in my opinion

Cecile Pérez: viewers need to know soundtracks to videos for sure :)

Laura Denning: i liked it until he cut too much from the neck

law2461: The color keeps going on and off, it it your camera or the way it was made?

Serafinalu: @TheOrchidFan is your hair thick or thin?

Chiquita White: Does this technique on aafrican american relaxed hair.
