Hey what's up, it's me Kira. So today I'm going to be showing you guys how I do my hair. Now I'm no hair connoisseur, I'm no hair guru or anything like that, but I do know a thing or two when it comes to short hair styling, because my mom is a hair stylist and I practically grew up in a hair salon. So I'm just going to be sharing a little bit of my skills which all today so this is my dirty head. I recently had a relaxer and I actually need to get it cut, so it's a little bit longer than I'm used to, but hey whatever we're. Just going to go ahead and get into the wash so for shampoo, I normally used the design, essentials oat and protein shampoo, but I ran out of it. So I'm going to be using this Garnier Fructis triple nutrition. Shampoo, I'm just going to shampoo my head twice before applying my conditioner and I love this conditioner. It'S the it's a 10 miracle hair mask and it does so many different things and moisturizes. It strengthens your hair and makes it shiny and all that good stuff, and I'm just going to put a little bit of that in my hair, actually a lot of it. So next is the most important part of my hair routine. It'S setting my hair and making sure that the shape is good. So when I style it it's easier and with short hair, especially pixie styles, it's important to set your hair to make sure it's molded to your head and that it has a good shape to it. But first I'm taking a wide tooth comb and just combing out my hair, making sure that it's all untangled and I'm going back first to make sure everything is in line. And then I'm going to go forward and move my hair forward. So I can begin to mold my hair, so next I'm just going to take the setting lotion by Nairobi. This is my best friend if you don't take anything away from this. Video just know that every girl, with a pixie cut, who wants to do their own hair, needs this. It'S your best friend. It just makes your hair like feel good. It makes it take the shape very well. So now, I'm just making sure it's all. On my edges, because you know we got to have them, it just laid honey, okay and then I'm just combing it down. I like to make sure that I don't have any bumps, because this is how my hair is going to dry. If I have any bumps or anything like that or anything that's out of place, it's going to show. So I like to make sure everything is straight. Everything is smooth so here I'm just making sure that everything is smooth down in the back and now I'm going to take a men's soft brush in the back of my head to make sure my hairline is right. So now it's time for me to wrap my hair first, I take this black tape and wrap it around my head to make sure that it dries in place and then, on top. I want to take my head wrap that I use to go to sleep and put it right on top, so I can go to bed and let my hair air dry overnight, all right! So it's the next morning and I had to run out to go to class for a second, so I just threw on a hat, I'm now going to style my hair. First, I'm going to be using this karekare external oil, and I love the way this smells. It smells very like almond E and very warm, and I just put that on my hair first as like a base moisturizer and then next, I'm going to be using the Chi silk infusion. This is more for heat protection and I also love the way it makes. My hair feel it's very, very silky. You only need a little bit and it just makes everything look so glossy. So this next product is the Caracara curling wax, and this is one of my favorite products, because it helps my hair have a little bit more control. It gives it a little bit more texture and it's not greasy. It'S not oily or anything like that. It just helps my hair, have more control and have that kind of PC look to my hair. So I really love using this. So now I'm just prepping my hair to go back under the wrap I like to smooth out the back of my head and my sides and I'm using a little bit of that. Curl wax to make sure that everything lays down nicely and then I'm just finger. Combing, my hair in the front and back making sure it's flat, because once I put it under the wrap, it's going to flatten my curls a little bit, but that's exactly what I want. I just love that look and I don't like big hair. I don't like what curls are all over my head, so I like to put my hair under a wrap for at least 30 minutes, but if I can around an hour to so after about an hour 15 minutes, this is what my hair looks like, and it's A little bit flattened out, but that's exactly what I was going for because it just makes the back of my neck and my sides look a lot more neat. The last thing I do is just finger comb, my hair out play with it a little bit and just put it in place for how I want to wear it so yeah. This is how I saw my pixie cut. Jewels Okike: I used to use motions foaming for setting. You can blow dry or wrap set. Take the wax after it's dry smooth through curl each section. If hair clips are needed. Marcel iron keep the heat be careful. Here she using the electric one.
